Als je op zoek bent naar een ervaring in de Great Canadian Rockies, kom dan eens kijken naar mijn wonderbaarlijkheid in onze houten log lodge met een stenen schoorsteen, verheven perspectieven en sereniteit. Mijn plaats is nuttig voor 👪 gezinnen, bijeenkomsten en meanderende zielen. Dit wordt allemaal beter met een 🔥 vuurplaats bij de hut om er met vrienden omheen te hangen. :)
Vergeet niet, we zijn in de Rockies en onze 📶 wifi is vlekkerig. Het is het meest betrouwbaar dicht bij het hoofdkantoor.

De hut heeft twee verdiepingen, de loft ligt op de bovenste verdieping en heeft 2 queensize bedden en een wasruimte. De benedenverdieping is drukker omdat het de 🍳 keuken, slaapkamer (met een koningin), 🛀 badkamer en een woonkamer met een slaapbank heeft. In het algemeen voel je je thuis

Gasten hebben toegang tot de hele hut met uitzondering van een voorraadkast die vergrendeld blijft.

Hoewel we niet in de cabine wonen, zijn we altijd bereikbaar via 💬 tekst-, 📱 telefoon- of VRBO-berichten!

Er is een extra 🐶🐱 huisdierentoeslag als u uw viervoeter meeneemt.

This property was ok. I always look at the reviews before booking a location and they all seemed very positive. Unfortunately, that was not the case with our visit. The property was clean but check in was delayed an hour and we were informed of that delay 10 minutes before our check in time. We had to empty the dishwasher and although there was WIFI, we could not stream any programs nor load any apps on our devices. We could not even check in for our flights because of the poor connectivity with the internet provider. The host was responsive but did not offer any solution to this problem. It would have been nice to have a board game, puzzle or card game to play in the evening because of no streaming services but nothing like that was provided. Attention to detail lacked with this property.

Perfect father-and-sons getaway

The cabin was a touring base for my sons and me, allowing us to hike (to Wapta Falls), do some whitewater rafting (right next door at Hydra Rafting), and chill around the campfire. My boys are in their thirties so we don't get a lot of opportunities to do this. The cabin and the setting were perfect!

Awesome cabin in Kicking Horse River valley with great mountain views (including Chancellor Peak) right from the porch. Quiet and relaxing evenings with fresh mountain air to wake up to in the morning. Great location to take day rafting trip.

Very nice place on great property

We had an amazing short stay here. It's close enough to Golden to grab dinner and whatever else you need. We went down to the river every night to take in the views and splash around a bit. Overall very pleased with this place and hope to come back soon.

Nice Cabin

Overall the cabin is nice, situated conveniently outside of Golden, BC and a short drive to Yoho, Banff, and Jasper. Good views and good access to the Kicking Horse River. Great they accept pets.One downfall, that is not advertised in the listing, is the walk from the parking lot to the cabin. Cars are not allowed to drive to the cabin so you have to lug all of your belongings from the parking lot, which in our case was about 200ft, other cabins could be up to 500ft. Would be useful if Host provided a golf cart or something to help renters, especially knowing they have children/pets. Also, the jacuzzi that was advertised was dirty, had a layer of dust in the tub, and there was sand on the bottom. We were able to clean it before using but not ideal for the price we paid.The check-in instructions indicated the dishwasher may have to be unloaded by the new renters from the previous renters. In our case, the dishwasher was fully loaded, and we felt it was unfair for us to have to do this on our vacation. The check-in instructions also made it clear that it was going to be hot/buggy and that we should open the windows. The screen in the downstairs bedroom was bent and allowed bugs to come in, so we were not able to use the window in our room. Overall, we feel this is a good spot and has potential for being a great spot with a little more attention from the Owner and less reliance on their “professional” cleaner.

Everything we needed. Ample, open space, full kitchen well supplied with cooking and eating utensils. Quiet. Plenty of instruction and good communication with the hosts. *If you are an extra, shall we say fluffy, person, you may want to know that the downstairs shower is a stall of the old standard size and could be a bit tight. We were very pleased with the location and the accommodations.

Great Cabin

Just what we wanted, quiet little place for our family, comfortable, made a fire in the pit out front, drove to Lake Louise a few days to ski/snowboard, got some groceries in Golden and also had a nice dinner there one night. Great stay, thank you.

Perfect rustic cabin

We had a wonderful time at the cabin, it was absolutely perfect for us, the right amount of space for a family of 5 but could easily fit a few more. Great location, a short drive from Golden and far enough to feel like you are really away from it all. The cabin has a comfortable, lived in feel feel that makes it perfect for kids and let us relax.

Spring Break Getaway

Great cabin - lots of space and all the amenities we needed for our stay. Close to skiing. Great location for dog walks, and we were so glad to find this dog-friendly accommodation. The teens were happy with the loft, and the adults were happy with the bedroom :)

Log Cabin, the Kicking Horse River and Sled dogs!
