Het huis is brandnieuw, luxe, brandschoon en omdat de woonkamer op de eerste verdieping ligt heb je een fantastich uitzicht over de omgeving (bos). Ik kan eigenlijk niets negatiefs verzinnen!

Beautiful and peaceful cabin!
We had a wonderful stay at Goat Mountain Cabin. The cabin and scenery are even better than the photos! The cabin was perfectly stocked with well-thought out details - everything guests could want or need while traveling. And the whole house was so clean! We enjoyed the beautiful views from the deck, walking to the Blaeberry River, white water rafting in Golden, and soaks in the hot tub when we returned to the house. It was the nicest and cleanest hot tub we've ever experienced at a rental home! Thank you for the relaxing stay!

The Perfect Getaway Spot!
Wade and Christa were great hosts. They answered all of our questions and took care of everything we needed. The cabin is very clean and it's in a perfect location. The cabin is very secluded and private. The trail to the river is an added bonus. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future.

There's nothing negative I can think of this prooerty. It's quiet, secluded, and in the middle of the nature. Loved the arrangements, amenities and supplies they provide for the guests. The best part is the huge deck. Enjoyed the firepit and hot tub. This was my 2nd time. Thanks Crista and Wade

Fabulous woodland retreat
We loved our stay at the cabin. It exceeded our expectations, both in size and location. It is surrounded by woodland, with a beautiful river just 5mins walk away. Spotless hot tub which we enjoyed after hiking! Kitchen well stocked with dishes and utensils, appreciated the Nespresso machine. We loved the high ceilings in the living area, and the floor to ceiling windows with great views. It’s a bit of a drive from Golden, approx 20mins, but that wasn’t a problem. We enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Bacchus book store and cafe. All in all the perfect relaxing break, would definitely recommend

Amazing!
We loved our experience at this cabin in Golden. Beautiful area and an ideal, private cabin away from the crowds. Cabin was exceptionally clean and very well cared for. The hosts made sure our stay was perfect and provided great local information that made our stay even better! Thank you!!!! Would love to come back some day.

Excellent vacation rental
Wade & Crista were very responsive with any questions we had. Its a great location. Went to the river multiple times, fire pit, hot tub, not too far from Golden, waterfalls. Little farther to parks like Yoho and Banff but wasn't too bad of a drive. Saw lots of wild life during our stay and great views of the mountains. Overall really enjoyed our stay.

Very secluded, awesome place
Had a great trip to the mountains here. Very private cabin. We arrived in Golden with a town wide power outage. When we arrived at the cabin in the dark we saw a light on in the place! Wade (host) had a generator hooked up to the cabin for a little light, power and water! It was awesome! Next morning power was on in Golden again. The cabin is very nice, amenities are great. Everything you need to enjoy your stay. We are already looking to go back. :)

Great overall
We wanted a quiet, in the mountains, get away from it all home, and this fit the bill. Beautiful area, and near so many amazing little hikes and hidden treasures. House was spotless, beds were comfortable, coffee was great, views were perfect. Stars were bright, the sunset was spectacular. Some memorable moments for sure. Thanks for a great stay!

Peaceful & Serene
This was a fantastic vacation week for two weary people. To reconnect, not only with each other, but nature as well. To be close to everything but still away from it all. Do the Thompson Falls hike, go to the Wolf Sanctuary-Northern Lights. Shout out to the bakery in Golden plus Island Restaurant for the pork ribs with bumbleberry sauce!!! Yummy!!! Do not want to leave this beautiful cabin!!! TY Crista & Wade

Very private and clean house!!
We had an absolutely amazing time here in Golden, BC. The house is top notch 5 star quality and clean!! The hot tub was wonderful after many long hikes to nearby waterfalls and lakes. I highly recommend staying here! Wish we could’ve stayed a few more days.

Great mountain views in a well designed, open concept house. We wish we did not hear the neighbors partying and the logs were wet so we were not able to use the nice camp fire area.

Seclusion and Tranquility
Fantastic clean cabin and well built. Porch has great views of surrounding Purcell and Rocky Mtns. Love the large spacious 2nd flr open concept. All the amenities you need and the water is the best...tastes great and showers are refreshing! Saw some white tailed deer and some squirrels...hoping for a bear but no luck. The river was a short 5-7min walk from the cabin and great place to hangout during the hot sunny weather. Fishing not great this time as the river is too silty due to late glacial melt runoff but hopefully clear the next time we come back. Great owners and when we had a power outage for one nite due to dtorm, the owner came by after midnite to turn on the genset and that was very nice of him to do that. Owners gave good directions and are very attentive. We will definitely go back for some peace, quiet, and relaxation from the City life. Thanks Crista and Wade for your generous hospitality and letting us stay at your wonderful cabin.

We absolutely loved our time at the cabin! It was a beautiful and quiet escape from our busy lives. Wade was wonderfully kind and accommodating both during the lead up as well as ou time at the cabin. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Beyond Our Expectations.
A Group of us booked this place wanting to get away from it all and Crista & Wade's Property made us feel like it was just us and nature. Waking up to Heated Floors , Magnificent Views in every direction and a short walk to the river was the best way to start the day. It was only a short drive to Golden and Surrounding Lakes and Trails, so even though you were secluded it wasnt out of the way at all. Coming back to soak in the Hot Tub and wind down by the Huge Private Firepit Area about 50 Metres from the house was such a special experience each night. Without a doubt would, and probably will book this place again!

Perfect weekend trip
Our family had a great weekend at the Goat Mountain Cabin. Nice private property to get away and relax. Plenty to keep our kids busy with the outdoor fire pit, hot tub and enough space to run around. The short hike down to the river a nice bonus on top of the amazing scenery.

Excellent winter retreat
Stayed here with three friends for four nights. The location was easy to get to from Golden and was very clean and modern. We used the provided snowshoes to explore the area, and spent a lot of time down at the river and enjoyed the scenery. We also had a couple of outdoor fires at night. Just a heads up that the fire inside is gas and not wood burning. Would definitely book again.

Our wedding getaway
The Goat Mountain Cabin was the perfect place for us to stay while we prepared for our wedding. The views were amazing and the location was just far enough outside of town but close enough to run an errand or two. Definitely check out the river, which is less than 10 minutes away on foot. The cabin was clean, bright, and modern, with all the amenities you could need. We will definitely be coming back next time we’re in the area.

Couldve never imagined how much we actually had.
A couple of us friends had planned to get together here from all over the country and we couldve never expected how nice and equipped the cabin was. Despite the bad weather during our stay it was a memorable experience.

Amazing Cabin in a gorgeous location
We could not have been more happy with our stay here. The cabin far exceeded our expectations, communication with the owners was quick and simple, the location was perfect for our day trips to the lakes and Ice field parkway. My wife commented on the view from the windows or porch every single day. Loved the kitchen with the all the counter space, as well as the big deck and BBQ. The internet would kick on and off at times but that wasn't a big issue for us since we just needed it for emails from time to time.
