'We had rented 2 rooms. The first room everything seemed to work okay. But the 2nd room the refrigerator did not work at all. They had a small one in the room that worked okay. It also had an indoor pool that was not available for use at all. Not sure why the pool was not available. My great grandchildren were a little disappointed with no pool. We were not at the hotel except mainly for sleeping, we had many activities planned for the few days we were in Charleston. The air conditioning...

'This affordable hotel is about 20 mins drive from downtown Charleston. Staff is helpful and nice. We booked for 5 persons, but we had to make the sofabed ourselves. Also there were only towels provided for 4. When we asked, it was no problem and got them. Breakfast is good, but the line for waffles was long and is at the start of the buffet. Maybe move the waffle station to the end and get an extra waffle iron would help a lot. '

'Would have thought extra towels, linens, pillows and blankets were in room for the pull out couch and number of people staying. Was disappointed that all we had was more than half roll of toilet paper and a full roll. Staff were exceptionally friendly and informative about our stay , breakfast and pool, etc.'

'I am really trying to look for a positive, but I also want to be honest. The hotel is not clean or maintained but worse than that...the staff does not care. I can understand that you might be short staffed when it comes to housekeepers but there is no excuse that there are no wash clothes or hand towels at 11:00 am, especially when there are two capable front desk workers doing basically nothing...well they were chatting with another worker on end. Lots of no work happening! Could not quietly...

'We were in the perfect location to see Folly Beach, Downtown Charleston, and Mount Pleasant! The room was clean and spacious, breakfast was good, and the staff were very friendly! We enjoyed our stay here!'

'Very poorly managed and maintained'

'The room was poorly cleaned. In fact, I would not walk barefoot on those floors. I requested to have the room cleaned and they supposedly did. I went back to the room and it was still the same. There was a long piece of hair on the bathroom door from the moment I checked in to the moment I left the hotel. The room was supposedly cleaned three times during my stay, yet the long very visible hair was never removed. Overall dirty, the elevator floors were also very dirty.'
