'Clean, friendly, and exceeded all expectations! '

'We loved the Dunlin! The grounds are gorgeous and the rooms are lovely. We rode bikes around the property and had an excellent time! The afternoon tea was a bit overpriced for what was served, but we still enjoyed it. I would like to mention that the room rate we chose made reference to a soaking tub and separate shower and this was not the case; we only had a shower. It was a great shower! But just know that the descriptions here are not always accurate and we were a bit disappointed.'

'Wonderful location right on the river with one of the most gorgeous sunsets I've ever seen. If you have trouble with steps, this is not your place. If you want a nice, relaxing place with amazing breakfast and service, look no further. We are already planning on staying again!'

'The staff are so friendly and made us feel so welcome. Room was very nice. All the rooms have different names and are all decorated differently. Located a couple of blocks from the beach in the heart of Folly Beach. Can’t wait till our next visit!'

'This affordable hotel is about 20 mins drive from downtown Charleston. Staff is helpful and nice. We booked for 5 persons, but we had to make the sofabed ourselves. Also there were only towels provided for 4. When we asked, it was no problem and got them. Breakfast is good, but the line for waffles was long and is at the start of the buffet. Maybe move the waffle station to the end and get an extra waffle iron would help a lot. '

'Received a very pleasant welcome when we initially walked. Room good size and well decorated. Bathroom was clean and had both walk-in shower and bath tub. '

Very clean room, large comfy bed with plenty of pillows as well as a nice cozy living area with sofa, chair and big screen tv Very friendly staff made it a breeze to check in. Wonderful free breakfast offered at 6:30 in the morning. I slept better than at my own bedroom.'
