'We loved our stay at Garto, it was by far our favourite resort on our travels. The staff and owner are very helpful and friendly. 'I don’t think you should ever try to charge people a 10% surcharge for using a credit card. You shouldn’t try to profit off a credit card transaction. I can understand you wanting to recoup your fees, but to try to make an additional 5% from a credit card. Not cool. Everything else was amazing. The staff is incredible. Obviously the staff doesn’t choose what the credit card fees are so this is really something for the owner to figure out.'

'Excellent value for money. The room is spacious, clean, with AC. I stayed for 7nights and will definetly come back. The bathroom is shared with an other room but I was mostly alone during my stay. Location is excellent to have easy acess to the pier, night market and the food court. I rent a motorbike to explore the rest of the Island. The hostess is so sweet and made my stay very special. Thank you so much 💕 I Hope I will come back soon :)'

"Dit is de ideale hotel voor families met jonge kinderen. Als je aankomt, dan weet en voel je ook meteen waarom. Er zijn veel (meestal betalende) activiteiten en opties om je jonge kinderen bezig mee te houden. Hotel ligt aan het begin van een leuk straatje paralel aan het strand waar alles te doen is: coco’s tam, night market, shops, massages, laundry, fishermans villege. Ook is het kort bij de pier waar alle bootexcursies beginnen. Eigenlijk de ideale plek. Geen aanrader als je rust wilt of zonder kinderen bent."
