'Simple, historic hotel, clean rooms, fair price'

'Rex our shuttle bus guy was amazing! He was super friendly and funny. He came to pick us up on time from the places that we wanted to go to. He went above and beyond. The staff was also very friendly.'

'Got static about me canceling the 2nd due to a family emergency over 2 hours away and he wasn't happy about it even tho I bought the last minute cancellation policy for both nights, I just gave up…'

'Nice room and stay. The breakfast was extremely minimal with donuts, bread for toast (no butter. Had to ask for peanut butter). Cereal, milk and yogurt, i think.'

'Nice breakfast buffet. Room was ok, bathroom was dirty, air conditioner was horribly loud, rattled all night. However, Expedia charged me more ($123.30) than the hotel charged (112.04). Expedia would not refund the difference, saying they charged me the lowest rate for the booking, NOT TRUE! My final bill at the hotel was $112.04. Expedia refused to return the difference. I will never use their service again and tell everyone about this incident.'

'Our stay at this property was like staying with family. The owners are very friendly and they made sure we didn't want for anything. The property was newly rehabbed, the beds were comfortable and the property was clean.'

'No water pressure in sink or shower. Shower head was old. Tub was angled towards wall making it uncomfortable to stand during shower. Breakfast was low quality-eggs had no flavor. Apple juice was warm.'

'This is a new hotel and everything around it (restaurants, gas, carwash, liquor store, etc.) was new also. The area was very new and seemed safe with plenty of food options very close by, within walking distance. We even ran our car through the carwash to get all the bugs off of it. The hotel was nice, clean and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good, also.'

'We chose this place as a last minute one night stay. That being the case it was OK. It had almost equal points on the OK and Good side. On the good side, our room looked to be recently renovated. The paint, fixtures, bed, etc all seemed to have been done recently. There were however a few things that were missing, There was an ironing board but no iron, no hair dryer though it was mentioned as an amenity, and a light bulb was missing from the vanity light fixture. 'We had an amazing stay at Mont Rest! Hearing the history from Chris (the owner) was an added treat! So crazy to see how she saved the property not once, but twice! The staff was exceptional. The breakfast was incredible. I loved that there wasn't a huge push to get people checked out. Our room was lovely and well appointed! We cannot wait to schedule another long weekend in Bellevue!'

'Good location and enjoyed the pool. Staff was friendly even though they were extremely busy. The breakfast was well stocked. However the first floor room smelled like chemicals. There were crumbs under our pillows and the sheets smelled like someone else’s body odor. There was also a bloody Kleenex in our sheets.'

'The Property is close to downtown and all the shops. It's located near major roads, but you don't hear the traffic. Parking spots were plenty. Breakfast was simple, but really good.'

'The hot tub is broke….there is no game room we actually saw a cot in that room with beer bottles. The sheets were also dirty. There was a party downstairs and the people were so loud at night outside our room.'

'We reserved an Executive room through expedia and paid for that, but we were checked in to a small basic room. We were told it was expedias fault. AC makes a big loude noise , so was disturbing sleeping, a small shampoo tube, but was half empty, carpet felt sticky and dirty.'
