'The location is good, by the river, although it’s next to a 60mph road so cars rushing by are heard throughout the night.
On the booking page there were pictures of a fairly new, cute round wooden ‘pod’, which would suit the name Glamping pods as advertised. The pods were actually present on the premises and looked really charming.
We were very disappointed to find that our ‘Glamping pod’ was in fact a garden shed with double doors, which stood at an angle, had a weird combination of old beds...

'Lovely location, nice cosy space for our family of three. Good kitchen facilities and ideal for our mini adventure in Drumnadrochit. Decor is a wee bit tired in the bedrooms and bathroom but the kitchen is fantastic with the fridge, freezer and induction hob. I was extra prepared and had brought my own tea and coffee but the host had very kindly provided these as well as coffee pods and even had ice in the freezer for us - caramel wafers were very much appreciated! 'Lovely, well equipped, cosy little apartment ideally located for activities on Loch Ness and beautiful walks in a variety of terrain and easy reach of Fort Augustus and Inverness, some right from the doorstep. Lots of nice welcoming touches and the owners responded quickly to request for information. Good shower over the deep bath but it’s a bit slippery and a couple of grab rails and a non slip mat would improve safety for those with mobility issues wanting to immerse themselves in a soothing...

'We had a fabulous weekend at the cabin. Everything you needed and the fire made it so cosy!
Some of the kitchen utensils and crockery were dirty.
It is confusing having the cabin named but it is labelled as a number.'

'Ness-side is a perfect home from home, fabulously appointed and beautifully presented. The views out across the Loch are stunning and I would quite happily have spent the day just sitting watching the world go by!! No sign of Nessie this time, I think she was on her hols!!!!'
