Ik ben op weg naar Mt. Kap voor sommige winter avontuur? Verblijf in dit prachtige huis en je hoeft niet ver te gaan om te genieten van de sneeuw - het is slechts een minuut van Summit Ski Area, op 10 minuten van Timberline Lodge, en 15 minuten van Mt. Hood Meadows.

Met een fantastische locatie, kunt u minder tijd besteden aan het rijden rond en meer tijd op de piste! Dit gebied heeft ook geweldige zomer activiteiten, zoals varen op Timothy Lake 20 mijl ten zuiden, wandelen en fietsen in de omliggende woestijn, en vissen in de Sandy River. Dit huis, in het midden van de regering Camp, is een ideale plek om alles wat de streek te bieden heeft.

Deze twee slaapkamers, twee badkamers huis heeft een unieke vorm met een efficiënte indeling en net genoeg ruimte voor acht personen (inclusief vier volwassenen) om te slapen. Zowel de bovenste als onderste verdiepingen hebben zithoeken - de bovenverdieping heeft een grote kabeltelevisie, een selectie dvd's, een Wii-gamingsysteem en meer.

De volledige keuken kan niet veel extra ruimte, maar het is alles wat u nodig heeft om te koken voor uw gasten. En met zo veel uitstekende eetgelegenheden in de buurt, met inbegrip van de ongelooflijke Mt. Hood Brewing Company, dan kunt u wilt eten in plaats daarvan!

De woning heeft een queen bed beneden, een tweepersoonsbed boven, en vijf futons die kunnen vouwen in comfortabele plaatsen om te slapen. Een wasplaats in de badkamer op de bovenverdieping biedt ook een plek om je kleren te wassen tijdens lange reizen. Iedereen zal hier gezellig, en je zult grote kansen om verhalen te delen en lachen samen.

Dit huis is perfect voor een thuisbasis tijdens een ski-reis. Government Camp heeft restaurants en een supermarkt, en de veel grotere Sandy ligt op slechts 30 minuten rijden.

Worked well for what we needed

There were a few kinks here and there that required us to be a bit flexible, but overall, it accomplished what we needed - a warm place to stay with plenty of beds for everyone while we spent a few days out of the snow.

Awesome White Christmas

Our family of 4 had a great time at chalet - it is close to restaurants (like Glacier Public House) and Timberline Summit Pass ski area, it had everything you need in the small kitchen, 2 baths, 2 bedrooms + extra sleeping area upstairs and enough room for the 4 of us to stay all together or split up in the 2 living areas (one upstairs and one downstairs). Would definitely consider going again even in the summer as the house has a large deck and grill.

A basic property, but with everything you need.

My wife and I stayed here for five nights. This, in my opinion, is a basic property, but has everything you need to be comfortable. Good location. A narrow house, kind of like a two-story bowling alley. The first floor has the kitchen, an eating area, a bedroom, and a bath. Upstairs is what one would call a family room with a TV and fold out couches, a bedroom, and a bath. A very small kitchen, well equipped, but with no dishwasher. Good Verizon cell service, and reasonable WiFi speed. The property manager is first class. We had a couple of minor maintenance issue when we checked in. They had them resolved in a day. They would have been taken care of the same day we reported the issues, but we put the repair person off to the next day.

Spring break get away

We stayed with my 2 teens, who were attending spring ski camp at meadows. Location wise it was very convenient to do back forth from Mt. Hood Meadows. Was able to stop by couple of tracking and site seeing spots in between so very convenient. House is very cozy. There is work needed to clean 1st floor wooden floor and upstair bath tub(it was clogging). We enjoyed our 2 night stay.

Best Deal On Mt. Hood!

Great 2 story cabin in excellent location. Has a small sledding hill right next to the house that is perfect for small kids. Someone who has spent a lot of time in the snow set this place up with hooks everywhere to dry your gear off, it’s amazing! It’s packed with dvds, kids movies, has internet, cable, and tons of other things we were surprised to see at a vacation rental. Small kitchen and downstairs but huge upstairs open area where you would spend all your time. The location is excellent, no way you can beat this place for this price. Thank you and would highly recommend!

Nice Mountain Getaway

Cute mountain getaway. Lots of games and toys for children. Smelled like smoke when we got there, but I think this is due to the fires in the area. We aired it out and put fans on and it helped immensely. The stay was great. We did have an issue that the BBQ was broken, the tray below the grill fell out while the BBQ was one and it could have been a huge fire hazard if my husband hadn't been right there. We tried to call the number given in the binder in the house from Vacasa and the number wasn't in service. Other than that the stay was comfortable, the downstairs bed was comfortable as was the upstairs bed. The kids of course didn't mine the foutons. Lots of sleeping space.

This place had every thing we needed except laundry soap. Cleanliness was Okay.

Property needs some TLC. Carpet needs shampooed badly. And it is extremely cluttered.

We were close to restaurants. There is only one true bedroom. Something to keep in mind if you're wanting privacy but the upstairs is great for families. Lots of sleeping space.

Clean and convenient

Our family of 5 stayed here 3 nights while we explored the numerous hiking trails on Mt. Hood. This very clean house is within walking distance to Government Camp's stores and restaurants and only 10 minutes away from Timberline Lodge (FYI free coffee at the lodge if you go early to watch the sunrise!). We celebrated my daughter's 21st birthday with delicious pizza and drinks at the Ratskeller in town. We really enjoyed the museum which is open everyday and is free. We slept in the downstairs bed and let our kids take over the upstairs where there are games, toys, and 2 TVs and an assortment of movies. Our bed was very comfortable. There's an abundance of bedding and towels provided. Yes, the kitchen is tiny but functional. Knowing that ahead of time, I brought premade meals (e.g. chili) and we used the very nice grill on the deck for hot dogs one night. We enjoyed the deck a lot for eating, hanging out, and playing games. Surprisingly, we didn't have to deal with mosquitoes! The neighborhood was mostly quiet and the nearby house empty while we were there. You can easily hear Hwy 26, but that's going to be true of any house in Govt Camp. Overall, the house was a great base camp for our daily excursions and the price was fabulous!

Loved it! It was our second time staying here!

The cabin was quite spacious for the two of us. The bed was comfy and the kitchen was handy for eating in or eating out on the porch. We enjoyed relaxing on the futons and reading when we weren’t out enjoying on the beautiful hiking trails! We loved the cabin in the woods and we will be back!

Fantastic location, great size of the house, small but well equipped kitchen.

We are back to this property second time. We love it. Beautiful patio with a perfectly well working gas stove, trails in the back of the house for running and hiking. Clean and well equipped. Overall, an excellent place for vacation.

Surprised and disappointed.

I found out why there were no photos of the kitchen, bedrooms and baths. Did not find Fireplace anywhere. The kitchen wouldn’t fit in a closet it was so small, by-the-way there were no closets. We had to live out of our suitcases. No drawers, and no chest of drawers. No drawers in kitchen either. Silverware was stuffed in jars. There were only 4 of us, I can’t imagine stuffing 10 people in this little cabin. Still looking for Mountain View. To be fare, The internet was awesome. Water was hot, and washer and dryer were excellent. TV worked great, although we are not much for TV. Downstairs bathroom was off of the dining and kitchen area and anyone sleeping in downstairs bedroom had to walk through that area to take a shower. Carpets looked and felt dirty. I would not recommend this little cabin to anyone.
