'We only stayed the one night as a stopover. The welcome from Summer on reception was cheerful and helpful, despite being late in the day. After a long journey the Welsh cakes were a nice treat. The bar was comfortable, but the furniture needs a clean. The menu was varied and the food freshly prepared. The bar staff were friendly and professional. Plenty of parking and quiet area.'

'Very dirty carpets everywhere. Worn out rooms. Beds felt dirty. Noisy. Food ok ish, big portions, comfort food only. Not good for kids, nothing to do. No access to sports facilities. Felt unsafe. Friendly staff!'

Friendly staff, good modern room (comfortable bed, good shower, reading lights, internet access and well soundproofed), and an excellent restaurant serving fresh fish and tender meats in no-frills preparation.
