Really lovely hotel with fabulous staff. I opted for breakfast only as there are some great restaurants within walking distance. The royal level pool is really nice and you can order drinks via the app if you download it. The other part of the hotel has a nice pool bar as well. Well located, about 25 mins walk to both Playa del Inglés (though the walk back up the hill wasn’t the best in the heat) and the Dunes which were spectacular at sunrise. The hotel runs a shuttle bus to and from the beach if you don’t fancy the walk.

Barcelo Margaritas - Royal Level was my third hotel in the Maspalomas area and by far the best. The hotel, facilities, food quality and service were by far the best (5-star quality). We picked the half-board option which included buffet breakfast and the option of lunch (a la carte) or dinner (buffet-style) at their Royal-Level restaurant (La Palapa). Other restaurants were also available but honestly not needed because the food at La Palapa was the best food I've had in all Maspalomas restaurants we tried. Super highly recommended.
The only downside was the WIFI didn't worked in our room, possibly because we had a corner room. Which I'm sure it could've been fixed but we were so busy that we barely stayed in the room, other than to sleep.

Great 7 night stay at the Royal Level section of the hotel with my partner. The room was much larger than expected, with a balcony overlooking the pool area but far enough away to still feel private. We opted for the breakfast-included option - we both agreed that the quality and choice of the breakfast was the best experienced so far in any hotel!
The pool was peaceful, and we never had any trouble getting a sun lounger (no need for the 7am starts to reserve a space that you hear about elsewhere).
All of the staff were very professional and friendly.
Only a ten minute walk away from the nightlife of the Yumbo centre, and always felt safe even late at night.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Immaculate room, lovely pool area and good food and drink options. Adults only but with the benefit of being able to use the facilities of the main child friendly hotel next door. A bit of a walk to the sea but that suited us and there is a free shuttle bus available. Great holiday, thank you!

Amazing hotel. The minute we arrived the staff were so friendly and helpful and we knew straight away we were going to love this hotel. The royal level is worth the extra. The restaurant and pool area were beautiful and the food was varied, fresh and ver well presented. We wil definitely be returning for a longer stay next time. Super séjour. Hôtel au top. Très bel accueil. A saluer, les extérieurs avec les beds a la piscine, le petit déjeuner (contenu et l endroit),le fait que personne ne réserve les transats avant d y aller. De plus, accès à volonté d'eau, fruits, sandwichs.On se sent zen dans cet hôtel. Je recommande.

Positief: Netheid, personeel en service, staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten en comfort kamer
Ich war schon zum 2. Mal im Royal Level und war wieder sehr zufrieden. Leider war das Abendessen dieses Mal ohne Grill und von der Auswahl nicht so gut wie im November. Komme dennoch gerne wieder und habe bereits erneut gebucht :)

Positief: Netheid, personeel en service en staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
Tolle Anlage mit schönem Pool.
Zimmer geräumig und alles sehr sauber.
Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und überaus zuvorkommend.
Reichliches Frühstück und tolles abwechslungsreiches Buffet zum Abendessen.
Alles in allem… Kann man wirklich empfehlen.
Strand ist in ca. 25 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.
Es gibt viele verschiedene Restaurants, die innerhalb von 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar sind.
