Most importantly, the restaurant here is NOT as described online. The website implies it is a proper restaurant making high quality, locally sourced food, but it's not even close...
On our first night we walked down into the town (easy 10min walk, although a bit steep) and had a great meal at "La Cueva". On our second night everything in town was closed so we opted for the buffet in the hotel, and it was awful. It was the epitome of quantity over quality. Just really not good at all. If you stay here hoping for decent meals you will be disappointed.
The room itself was large, but the bathroom tiny, even in a so called Junior Suite. The whole place smelt of drains.
It was also very noisy, with little soundproofing between rooms.
WiFi is free only in the lobby, and is too slow for anything except checking email. Using mobile data was much quicker.
On a positive note, the location and views are absolutely spectacular, and it is a great base for hiking. Just make sure you can eat somewhere else!!
