Better than a hotel suite!

We had a nice, relaxing stay. The studio was in a great neighborhood close to the lake, and everything was just as it was presented. We'll stay here again if we're every in the area.

Cute Giraffe Inn

It was clean, all the appliances worked, and it was close to where we were visiting so it was good for sleeping at the end of the day. Safe with a gate and fence in a quiet neighborhood.

Spring break getaway

Very comfortable converted garage/studio with all the amenities for a simple stay. No stove, but hot plate was great! Hot showers for all 4 in our family. Watched Marched Madness on t.v.. Owner provided extra blankets quickly upon request. Our dog loved it, too. Great property to walk our dog. Wonderful, affordable stay! Thank you Carolyn, Mark and Chelene!

I would not recommend this rental based on my experience.Upon arrival, the property was not clean and had a very strong odor of marijuana that made the space uncomfortable to stay in. I tried airing it out for several hours, but the smell did not improve.The listing advertised two Wi-Fi networks, but neither of them worked during my stay, which was a major inconvenience.More concerning was a serious safety issue: the bathroom light fixture appeared to be improperly installed. It was connected using what looked like a stripped extension cord, taped together with exposed wiring. On top of that, the bathroom light could only be turned on from the bedroom, which added to the overall inconvenience and concern. This setup felt like a clear fire hazard.Due to the cleanliness issues, strong odor, lack of working Wi-Fi, and the unsafe electrical setup, I decided to leave after about three hours.Overall, this was a very poor experience, and I would advise others to proceed with caution.

Very nice get-away

Michelle greeted us when we got there from Dallas. I've been coming to Granbury since the mid-'90's for business, and now I own most of an acre here just outside of town I want to build on in the near future. I love Granbury, and we came down on a VRBO deal. Just a hitch outside of town, it was an efficiency built as part of the main house, on a corner. Easy access, love-the-country-feel, etc. Very nice hosts, and would come again. If I could wish for something, it might be some blackout curtains on the windows, and you have to use a hot-plate as a cooking stove. For a quick jaunt, it's not a problem, but... Michelle's suggestion where to go the next night, Saturday, was spot-on! We went and we had a good time at Warren's Back Yard just off 51 N. Danny & Lynn

After not receiving check in info, we were able to call the property manager and get everything we needed! The place smelled amazing and was just what we needed! It was well stocked and very cozy!

Quaint spot, minutes from downtown

We loved spending time at the Giraffe Inn! The area was quiet, convenient, and dog friendly. The cute, clean space was perfect for three people and was close to downtown Granbury. We enjoyed walking down the road and deer watching at dusk.

Not a peaceful time

This place is so cute and on a beautiful property. However when you g to bed we had an uninvited guest. We found a 4inch long scorpion in the bed. We did not sleep and left early. I would encourage the owners to spray for pests.

Great location

It was nice being able to have our dogs stay with us. The room was great for our family of 4. The reason I’m rating accuracy of listing at a 4 is because it’s through Evolve property management and there were a number of fees that weren’t listed on the main page that added up to quite a bit. They did waive the pet fee. Overall I was happy with our stay! Thank you!

Quiet Country Atmosphere

The owners have done a great job making this stay comfortable and enjoyable. The room is close to shopping etc but in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful surroundings.
