Summer Lake House Granby Private Getaway

About this space
Right at the foot of Lake Granby, this private home is a wonderful place to GET AWAY! Tons of wildlife, away from the highway and busy life. Home is updated & well cared for, not a beat up rental. Amazing views and a fully stocked kitchen! Pets will be considered, bring your whole crew. Snowmobile & ice-fisher friendly!
The space
This house has 2 decks with spectacular views from all sides of the home. The main deck is huge and where we spend the majority of our hours. There are bedrooms and bathrooms on all 3 levels of the home, giving each their own private space. The Great Room boasts the wall of windows looking out on the lake and forest, giving a beautiful mural that is constantly changing with the sunset and weather. If you need a break from work and the city, come snuggle up with a cup of hot chocolate and a puzzle, listen to the birds chirp and enjoy the simple life.
Guest access
The entire home is yours to use with the exception of a utility room near the entry door. The 5th bedroom is an open loft with a futon. There is also an air mattress allowing an additional 2 to sleep here.
Other things to note
The list of things to do in Granby & Grand Lake is endless. You can rent a boat/snowmobile/mountain bike/you name it. In the summer we are walking distance to beaches, in the winter, ice fishing, skating, and nearby skiing and hot springs. The 3 lakes are all minutes apart so it's easy to stay on one side and go fishing/shopping/etc on the other. With most of the area being national forest, there are lots of trails & the landscape is breathtaking. Our house is just down the road from Strawberry Lake Trailhead which goes to a stream, a lake, and eventually all the way to Boulder.
