Welkom bij The Gateway Cottage! Onze prachtige luxe 1765 sf "cottage" voltooid in 2008 is gelegen op meer dan 7000 'hoogte in een natuurlijke omgeving op een rustige hectare koele dennen in Noord-Arizona. We bevinden ons op slechts enkele minuten ten oosten van Williams, de toegangspoort tot de Grand Canyon, waar u veel winkels vindt voor bijna alles wat u nodig heeft. Het is een gemakkelijke 45 minuten / 60 mijl rijden naar de zuidrand van de Grand Canyon, en met Flagstaff 25 minuten en Sedona op een uur rijden, is dit een geweldige centrale locatie !! Het smaakvol ingerichte interieur bestaat uit 2 slaapkamers met kingsize bed en 2 volledige baden, plus een slaapzolder met een KONINGIN bed en een TWIN bed, evenals een KONINGIN slaapbank en pack-n-play wieg biedt comfortabel plaats aan maximaal 9 volwassen gasten. Recente updates zijn gemaakt met nieuwe gordijnen in woon- en slaapkamers en nieuwe dekbedden op bedden op zolder, nieuwe magnetron en nieuwe 43 "UHD TV in slaapkamer beneden, nieuw Dishnet Hopper satelliet tv-systeem 2/11/19, frisse interieurverf februari 2019 , altijd lopende updates en upgrades om ons huis actueel te houden. Zie de sterren door de dakramen van het kingsize bed in de master en het queensize bed op de zolder. Beide slaapkamers hebben een tv en dvd-speler. De volledig gevulde keuken bevat alles wat u nodig heeft, breng uw boodschappen mee en maak een eenvoudige of gastronomische maaltijd. De wasruimte is inclusief beddengoed en handdoeken. Buiten ontspanning op het dek, de vuurplaats of de veranda. Er is een vaste lijn (telefoon) in huis voor lokale gesprekken. Leuke activiteiten (winter en zomer) zijn in de buurt, zoals de Grand Canyon, Sedona, Grand Canyon Railway / Polar Express, Bearizona en de Deer Farm, evenals musea, observatoria en openluchtrecreatie zoals vissen, wandelen, skiën, rodelen en meer . Dit huis zal je niet teleurstellen! Sorry, uit beleefdheid voor gasten met allergieën, we hebben geen huisdieren. Check-in is na 16:00 uur en check-out is voor 11:00 uur.

The home was well decorated, maintained and equipped. Close proximity to Williams but far enough away to feel like you are away from it all. We spent a lot of time on the front porch. Owner was responsive, one of the best VRBOs I have stayed in.

My family wanted to feel like we were in the middle of the woods while still being conveniently located to Williams and Flagstaff and this checked that box perfectly. Merrie was so easy to work with when we had to modify our reservation. We’re already talking about when we can go back.

Super cozy and great cabin! There were 6 adults in total in our family staying. The location was perfect for the sightseeing we wanted to do in Sedona and Grand Canyon National Park. Williamson was also a great little town. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. We would absolutely stay again and would recommend it to a friend. The only slight issue we had was not the fault of the host but our maps kept saying the house was further down the street than where it was actually located. We had some issues finding it the first time because it was night time. Just something to keep in mind if you do book this place! But overall we loved this place!!! The hosts are wonderful!

Wonderful house with a helpful, communicative host! It has the vibe of an older cabin, but the updated furnishings and great condition made it feel fresh and comfortable. Even the pull-out bed was nice. The house is located in a very quiet location in the woods where you can really see the stars. Do note that the roads to the house are not paved, but that wasn’t an issue for us; and make sure before you check out that you clean the kitchen.

The cabin worked perfectly for our trip to the Grand Canyon and surrounding area. The cabin was clean and cozy and we really enjoyed the front and back covered porches. We sat by the bonfire one night and that was a lot of fun. We cooked several meals at home and the kitchen worked perfectly and was well stocked. We loved watching the Stellar Jays and squirrels every morning play near the back patio.

Die Unterkunft war toll. Wir waren zu fünft und hatten genügend Schlafmöglichkeiten. Der Kontakt zum Gastgeber war einfach. Allerdings war uns bei der Buchung nicht bekannt, dass trotz der Lage im Wald reger Bahnverkehr herrscht. Die Bahn fuhr alle 20 Minuten, auch in der Nacht. Die Bahn war deutlich zu hören und ist bei einem leichten Schlaf nicht zu empfehlen, Schade.

Really beautiful property. However there’s a train that runs at night several times and unfortunately sleeping through the night was an issue for a few of us. For context the train tracks are about a 3 minute car ride away. Keep that in mind if you’re a light sleeper. Otherwise, great location if you’re heading to the Grand Canyon or any of the local attractions. The kids loved the play set. The cleaning fee is 150 which was a bit annoying considering you have to leave the kitchen spotless as opposed to other rentals where you can typically at least clean up the kitchen and leave the dishwasher running but here everything needs to be dried and put away before you leave. A small nuisance. We found several of other people’s socks while staying, but other than that the property was clean.

Great Family Getaway

This was our second time staying at the cabin and it was as great as the first time! The kitchen has everything you need, comfortable furniture and plenty of room at the table for the 8 of us. The kids love the loft and having 2 rooms both with king size beds is a huge plus! We enjoyed siting on the rocking chairs on the front porch and having dinner on the back deck. The cabin is so welcoming. I know we'll be back!

This cabin was a surprise! It is much nicer than the pictures show. We had 4 adults and 5 kids that stayed and it worked out great for all of us. The kitchen has more than you need to fix meals and the beds were very comfortable. We will be back again.
