We chose this location for the family friendly rooms and water park. The website was unclear on how the waterpark worked in coordination with the hotel. I did not know that you had to pay above for water park passes. That should be included with the rooms considering the “waterpark” part was only open in the evening. We are a family of 5 and it’s hard to find rooms so we appreciated the bunk room option. Our kids loved that. The room itself was dated and needed some updating but otherwise good. Us and many other families were trying to checkin after 4 and the rooms were not ready. They were very kind and apologetic and treated us to dinner vouchers and water park passes.
We went down during Manitoba spring break and the hotel was filled with other Canadians. On our checkout day we went to the breakfast buffet an it seemed to be severely understaffed as there were long lines for the buffet and to get into the restaurant.
In all, would stay there again.
