Long weekend in Grand Junction
My wife and I stayed at the Cottage for a long weekend, to enjoy fall weather in Grand Junction and Grand Mesa. The Cottage was comfortable, quaint and well-stocked. Small details like labels on kitchen drawers and light switches made our stay very comfortable.

We really enjoyed staying at this property. There’s a great outdoor space with a huge gas grill. The house has everything you need. It was a great place to come back to after hiking in the surrounding national parks.

The house was beautifully appointed! She thought of everything…. Sunscreen, bug spray, various Keurig pods…. I felt like I was in a copy of Architectural Digest… color schemes were gorgeous!!!! Comfy beds!!!!

This house is in a great location and is lovely. The issue we had was the heat! It was 107 in the day so the house was unbelievably and unbearably hot at night. The swamp cooler only added to the humidity and stickiness of the heat. In the cooler months, I could see this as an idea choice for a stay.

Perfect place to get away
We came in for a short weekend and this gouse was perfect for our stay. Literally had everything we could ever need and more (appliances, bedding, coffee, baggies, foil, bug spray, sun block... I could go on). The back patio was cute and comfortable, the house is so clean and nice. I cant accurately say how amazing this rental was! A++++

Fantastic Grand Junction Home!!
Outstanding place to stay!! The house was just as advertised, communication with the owner was always prompt and productive, and the location was great. Walking distance to CMU and the GJ downtown. The back patio was the best part of the home—a great place to spend the evening in the shade, bbq’ing, and enjoying friends. If you mountain bike, this is a great home base for spectacular riding!!! Will absolute stay here again.

We enjoyed and are grateful for our stay. We used this cozy cottage as base camp for or many excursions. It was wonderful to come “home” to to a comfortable place to relax (indoors or out) before our next hike, float, walk or ride!

Grand Junction Getaway
I almost hate to post this review -- because I'm concerned everyone will want to stay at this terrific property and then I won't be able to book it again. This property is clean, well-maintained, and fully-equipped with everything you need. It is well-located in a nice neighborhood with nice neighbors. Communications with the owner are fast and clear. Overall, this is a delightful place to stay that I heartily recommend.

Fabulous alternative to a packed hotel
Such a great home away from home opportunity! I would definitely stay here again. Communication is great, home is very clean and comfortable, location is easy access to shopping and food. The back patio has personality and creates a private, relaxing space. Instructions were well laid out and multiple ways to communicate, if needed (which we didn't). The kitchen and laundry are nice and we had plenty of room to spread out, relax and enjoy some peace and quiet, such a great alternative to a hotel. We definitely recommend this place. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we hope to be back again!

Quaint, convenient and comfy!
Great use of small space in this nicely located home! It was perfect for us as we attended the Winefest in Palisade (a short drive away). Walked to coffee in the morning and dining in the evening. Great comm with the host too. Recommend!

Great house, great location!
Loved staying at this house! It is a great location- close to downtown, Lincoln park, and the college! I really liked that everything in the house was labeled, it made things easy to find. I also liked the array of cooking materials- we just brought groceries and were able to cook lunches and dinners! The house was clean and spacious. Would definitely recommend!

Family Visit

Great weekend stay!
We stayed for 3 nights and appreciated the comfortable home. The owner was one of the most organized owners, she really cared that the home had all the necessary ammenities...everything from laundry detergent to a wine bottle opener. The place was exactly as advertised, as easy as possible to check in/out, and a great walking distance to downtown Grand Junction. I would highly recommend this property!

Dial-up computer days
No network tv for the week which meant no NHL. NBA PLAYOFF games. No Today show for wife. No local or national news! Internet speed was download 10. Upload 1 I know sounds crazy and friends don’t believe. Ones I play poker with on line believe. I held up game as I was kicked off and had poor connect as they waited for me to play. In AM mail took up to 5 minutes to upload. It was a step back in time.

I am sorry that the television was an issue. This has a smart TV and streaming, which includes most major networks and sports channels with events. I have several vacation rentals and have never had a complaint nor a 1 start rating. I find that most of the guests who stay at my properties are generally out and about at events or outdoor activities so not sure if the TV is a problem or just less of a priority. Working from "home" doesn't seem to be a problem for guests at these properties either. I have the same internet and TV at home. Thank you for staying at this property and I am sorry that the Television wasn't up to your needs.

Fabulous home in a great location!
We rent VRBO’s on a regular basis, and this home is one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in. The furnishings are comfortable, kitchen well equipped and the house is cozy and warm. We were able to walk downtown, about half a mile, and the old downtown is vibrant. Lots of shops and restaurants and outdoor eating areas. Jan was very responsive and made us feel very welcome. The price is incredible, and be sure to check out the unique door knobs on the cabinets!

Weekend Stay
I chose this place because it was super close to CMU and I was visiting my daughter who is a freshman there. The house was super cute and cozy, very clean, and had absolutely everything you could ask for. We were able to make meals together in a well equipped kitchen so definitely better than staying at a hotel. Host was super quick to answer texts. I arrived in Grand Junction about an hour before the official check in time and within minutes was able to get the o.k. that the house was ready and we could get in. I would definitely stay there again the next time I am in town!!

Cute Cottage
