Aside from an elevator being broken and the pool not being open, the main complaint I have about my stay was housekeeping. I was there for two days and three nights. The first day, they didn’t clean my room at all. The second day I specifically called to request housekeeping come while I went out to breakfast. When I came back, housekeeping had only cleaned the bathroom. They didn’t make the bed or do anything in the other part of the hotel room. I called the front desk because this is incredibly weird. They called me back and told me that the housekeeper said that the bed was already made, and she had cleaned the room. This was a complete and total lie. Who makes their own bed when they stay at a hotel? And even if it were made already which it wasn’t, she should still change the linens.The bed was clearly not made at all. Things happen and I can understand that someone could get called away in the middle of doing something and then maybe forget to come back and finish. But that’s not what was explained to me. This Housekeeper didn’t clean the full room and she then lied about it. In defense of the hotel staff, they did offer to put me in a different room or have the housekeeper come back or even for the front desk person to change the linens. By that point, though I just wanted to use the room so I said no thank you.
