Great Property in the Heart of Grand Rapids
You won’t find many better places in the heart of Grand Rapid. Quick access to numerous restaurants, bars, and breweries. my wife and I to worked out if the location during the week and then we had friends joining to attend a wedding over the weekend. The check-in process did require us to get a key off site but beyond that we had zero issues!

Location, Location, Location!
Within safe walking distances to restaurants, museums, theaters, arena and conference centers in downtown Grand Rapids. The penthouse had a great view of the city and the interior had a modern decor. Could have been a little more comfortable and some sprucing up is needed in the kitchen.

Perfect location
This property is in the perfect location, It's just a short walk to everything. The place was was very clean and updated. Having the garage parking pass included was a very nice perk as well

Nice place right downtown! Check in is not as easy as you might hope.
The check in is at a different location. It’s a very nice place, but that was frustrating.

Conference Connections
It was a beautiful venue for our stay. We were able to walk to our conference quickly and we were able to walk to the nightlife when we wanted to venture out. This was the perfect spot for our staff during our conference.

Positives = Unbeatable value for the size, location, and features (parking included, 2 real bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and kitchen). The kitchen was well stocked with flatware, pots, pans, ect...plenty of extra sheets, blankets, and pillows. Very clean and quiet building which is next to everything to do in GR. Parking is located directly behind the building, plenty of spots with in/out privileges. Management was VERY quick to respond to both texts and emails, excellent customer service. Negatives = Would be nice to have TVs in the bedrooms along with at least one DVD/BluRay player in the unit. Pickup of keys and parking pass went well, but is a bit inconvenient to have to travel a few miles away to pick up. At least key pick up process itself was quite simple.

Great Location and Responsive Management
We really enjoyed out stay! We were in town for family and it is perfectly located to all of downtown activities and food and centrally located to the suburban areas. We did have an issue with the blow up mattress and reached out to property management who replaced the mattress the same morning. Overall, this is a great solution for a family

Great place with great service. Couldn’t beat the location to the Davos center. Overall great experience. When coming back to MI will use mitten again.

Perfect Location
I stayed with my family when we went to a concert and this super cute space was located right across from the venue! Great spot to walk easily around downtown. However, the listing says it sleeps 6 and there is no way to get 6 people...there were 2 beds and the sofa was NOT a sleeper sofa. Otherwise, everything was great and would stay again if I had the right number of people and didn't have to have someone sleep on the couch.

Wonderful place to stay downtown!
A great place to stay in downtown Grand Rapids. The host was wonderful to work with and the location couldn't have been better for food and fun right next to the arena. Highly recommend and look forward to staying there for my next visit as well!

Nice place downtown
Stayed here a couple nights during the November 2021 comic con. My daughters and girlfriend liked it. Parking was kind of inconvenient, but workable. Key pickup is nuts, but not the craziest I guess. It works.

Great Place to watch the 5/3rd RiverBank races
The whole family found the space to inviting and relaxing. We were close to good food and art. We spent our free time looking out at the fun view and playing games. Would do this again anytime.

Nickel and dimed then hit with an unauthorized $388 lost key/card fee!!
Over the years we have stayed in a ton of vacation rentals. This is my first negative review. While the property was fine, beware, the owners are very shady. I was relatively ok with the hourly fee for a checkout past 10 am (though I've never come across that), the next charge was ridiculous and the response even more so. On the last day of my stay on a morning walk the key to the apt that was attached to a card for parking fell out of my pocket. I immediately told the owners, who were unpleasant, and they said they would assess a fee. Next thing I know, there is an unauthorized charge for $388 on my card! We were absolutely willing to pay to replace the lost key/card, but the price was obviously invented. I asked where it says that on the listing (because I looked), and all of a sudden the information appears on the site. Mind you that same info is not on their listings for the other apartments in the same building which use the same kind of key. They said there was the replacement cost and then their cost for the inconvenience. When contacting VRBO they said that once the owners could show us proof of the replacement cost, then that is the only cost we should incur. We wrote this to the owners and they ghosted us...no response at all. The charge is still on our card. Again beware before you rent from Mitten Housing.

Great location, walking distance to lots of things to do & places to eat. Loved the outside area that overlooked the entertainment below & loved the view from the apartment. Very neat & clean! Parking was across the street & we wished we had an extra key, just in case we left it inside & walked out the door. Overall, would highly recommend!

Fantastic location
The property is beautifully maintained and in a great location that is walking distance to everything Grand Rapids. The beds were extra comfy and living space was very open and welcoming. We only had 2 slightly negative comments: If you are not a sound sleeper, be aware that the unit is close to the elevator and it is noisy. It seemed to be used all night on the weekends. It didn't bother me, but it made it hard for my friend to sleep. The provided towels are small. I would have expected larger towels, but they provided plenty of them so it wasn't a big deal.

Perfect stay
Super clean and nicely set up! Great location to food, breweries, parks, and just strolling around! Had a little trouble with VRBO account and messages but the property management company was incredibly communicative and speedy with responses! Definitely would recommend and stay again- you get a whole apt for the price of a nice hotel stay!

Downtown Getaway
This apartment was fantastic! Great correspondence with property owners. Super great location for any of the downtown activities, and parking garage is right across the road from the complex. Thanks again for the great stay!
