Great Location
Location location location! Van Andel is right across the street and great places to eat and drink with 1/4 mile walk. With Bob next door, the noise could be an issue on weekend nights depending on floor you are on.

Great location if attending events at Van Andel Arena
This is a wonderful place to stay! Especially if you're attending an event at Van Andel and are interested in walking to various restaurants, etc. in downtown Grand Rapids. The unit was spacious, clean and has a lot of natural light. The kitchen with island is amazing for hanging out. We also enjoyed morning coffee on the balcony. I highly recommend.

Not Great for Families —or Those Who Like Rest
The location and condo is great if you’re young party people or a young couple looking for an experience. For a family traveling and wanting to sleep before 3 AM on a Friday or Saturday night, you should do a hard pass. The master bath has little privacy, The checkin process is arduous and the walls are like paper. We liked the modern condo and balcony though. Free coffee was nice as well. Also, we had no idea a race would begin downstairs at 6 AM and a person would be on a mic until 11 AM—but that’s not the properties’ issue. It’s a city thing. However, we should have been informed. We could have been understanding and brought ear plugs and sound machines.

I'm sorry you did not have a great experience with us. This property is located right in the heart of bustling downtown Grand Rapids, as stated in listing. We were unaware of a race going on and are unable to control events going on in the city. We have since provided noise machines for each bedroom to help with outside noise.

Excellent location for night life
Clean and great for concerts, restaurants, etc. parking perfect: across the street. But check in for us was a bear. We were at the designated key pick up but the cleaning crew had not returned the key yet. Lots of back and forth communication w manager. Also: if you need dark to sleep, be sure to bring a sleep mask as the lights from the garage and street are strong through the translucent shades.

Hi Sarah, unfortunately you showed up early to the key pickup location and the cleaning staff was finishing up. They still had the apartment ready for you before the 4pm check in time and brought the keys to you in person to the building to make it easier for you.

Great Location!
We went to Grand Rapids for a couple of days with friends. This was the perfect location to visit breweries and other fun restaurants. Very clean and had everything we needed.

Great location and property. The apartment did seem like it was sparsely outfitted with furniture from IKEA. The beds were wobbly but comfortable. Very clean though.

Wedding Weekend
Rented two apartments here for our son's wedding. One for us and our son and his girlfriend, one for grandparents. All raved about the facility and the accommodations. Location couldn't be any better. Would be an amazing stay for anyone attending events at Van Andel Arena. Highly recommend!

Good location and clean
Stayed here for a long weekend with a few friends. Pros: It is in a great location, we were able to walk everywhere and never took our car out of the parking deck the entire weekend. The apartment was very clean and very modern. Cons: none really, only a few minor things to be aware of. The checkin process requires you to go to a separate location first to get the key. It takes a couple extra minutes so plan accordingly. The apartment sleeps 6 (2 queens and a pullout couch.) but we weren’t all couples so we needed a few air mattresses and there isn’t a ton of floor space but we made it work (we put one in the kitchen area). It was pretty noisy bc it is next to the BOB and Van Andle arena. There was also a truck emptying a dumpster at 5:00AM Friday morning. Overall a great place to stay for a walkable weekend.

Great condo close in downtown Grand Rapids.
This condo is right in the middle of the action, with great restaurants and bars within walking distance. The outdoor music from The Bob below was terrific, but was way too loud, making it tough to sleep well past midnight.

Great Place
Loved the accommodations. Modern, clean and had everything we needed and more. Convenient for walking. My only complaint, is the street noise. We were awoken a few times during the night for various noises on the street. I would return, but will bring ear plugs. Overall a good experience.

Modern Apartment
This modern apartment was as described on the website. Great location, nicely furnished with a small private patio. The kitchen was very large for the space and the beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this as a place today especially if you are going to an event at the Van Andel Area as it is just across the street.

Nice space in a convenient downtown location - Read reviews
The space is as described. Though not the most convenient process, the host is clear up front about the somewhat unusual key pick up steps. Before booking we saw several reviews highlighting issues of street / city noise. Per the location, this didn't seem out of the ordinary. However, if you stay here and sleep in the 2nd bedroom, I'd expect to be woken up through the night by the unusually loud water functions in the building. That was a bit unexpected since the building otherwise seems quite new, high-end and modern. I'd recommend reading the content of prior reviews versus just going off of the star ratings. After check out, host made it clear that reviews with a less than 4.5 will not be posted. I ended up giving a 5 in order to make a post. However, overall honest score would be a 4.4. Since I don't see a way to even give anything but whole numbers and I was made aware a 4 would not be posted I gave it a 5.

Exceptionally Clean and Modern Apartment
I would rate this as a 5 but I don't want to mislead people either. This place was definitely very clean and modern and would we stay there again, maybe. I think people should be aware of the excessive noise and make a decision if that is important to them or not. Granted, I knew I was staying downtown and there would be noise (I would assume other renting downtown would also be aware). The issue I had is that the apartment was very close to a music venue that I believe was piping music to the outside from 9 pm - 12:30 AM on Thursday night. I could hear the actual lyrics to the songs being sung. Once asleep, I then was awaken from 1:30 AM to 4:30 AM by the leaf blower across the street. The attendant to the ramp across the street was "cleaning" the ramp with a leaf blower (yes it took them 3 hours to go through 7 floors). I don't know if this is a weekly, monthly, or once a year activity but would be nice to know (especially if you plan on staying on a Thursday night). Since the windows are only double pane, again the screeching sound of the blower kept me up those 3 hours. Now, on Friday and Saturday night, it was what I would call "normal" downtown noise plus a little more because it was close to the music venue but had no issues. Had I known about the excessive noise on Thursday night, I might have brought ear plugs or chosen another place. As I said previously, the place is really nice so now that I know what to expect, I might stay there again. It is all about setting the expectation and I think it is important to let other potential renters be aware of it as well.
