The Funky Little Shack at Grand Rivers - Pet friendly! Wi-fi, smart TV!

Just 3 miles from I-24! Enjoy your stay within walking distance of all that Grand Rivers has to offer. Convenience is key here with delicious Cabin Pizza right in the same complex! This cute, newly renovated little cabin apartment is the perfect spot for a couple (or a couple of friends!), hunters and fishermen to get away.
Perfect spot for travelers/snowbirds as it’s only 3 miles from I24!
This is a studio apartment on the floor level of the cabin. Just adjacent to the apartment is Cabin Pizza (shared parking lot, but you will have two dedicated parking spaces). There is one queen size bed and sofa with chaise lounge that can be used as a sleeping space if needed (it is small, so only small adults or children would be comfortable there).
Kitchenette includes a compact refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee pot, dishes, utensils and drinkware. There is also a charcoal grill out back, and we have grill utensils. You will need to bring your own charcoal. Village Market just down the street carries charcoal, starter, and other supplies you may need!
Because this is a shared parking lot with a restaurant on site, please be aware that we cannot control noise levels. We do provide a sound machine and there are ear plugs in the night stand next to the bed.

Beginning to end Amazing, relaxing trip. Somehow from the beginning our reservation was messed up as I specifically chose the property intending to bring our dog. I contacted the host immediately a few days before arrival when I saw and they were AMAZING.

The Funky Shack was very clean and was in a great location. It was exactly as it was shown on the website. We had to find "the sweet spot" for hot water in the shower. It is at about the 2 o'clock position! We loved our stay there and will definitely stay there again!

Great location but the room was really small. The bathroom shower was the smallest I’ve ever seen. Wasn’t a fan of not being able to flush my toilet paper and shower stall and curtain was not the cleanest. The structure needs some up keep, gutters, back deck (no back porch light), back door needs some work. Overall it wasn’t bad but could use some tweaks to make it more comfortable.

The property part that they own is great The neighbors need to clean up their mess but other than that it's good I like that it would have been nice if the pizza place was open on Mondays and Tuesdays but they're not other than that it was a great stay really loved it

small but everything was there that we expected to. Great air, really hot this weekend, plenty of bedding, decor was so cute with all the lake touches. It was 5 min away fro where all the family was, so we could be with them for breakfast, help with meals, boat, and then do supper. Twice the Ice was really handy for us to be the runners, and a nice ice cream and grocery store with walking. will stay again !! Thanks

There were tons of ladybugs, a sign that said not to flush toilet paper and people upstairs moving around all night. I know ladybugs were bad that season so I think that issue was just temporary. The host said that the people upstairs knew that there were people staying and if it got too bad they would handle them. We were only staying for the night and didn’t want to cause too many issues. I’m unsure about the toilet situation I hope they got that issue fixed. I would stay again for another short stay any longer I’ll choose somewhere else

Anniversary getaway

Nice cabin, really enjoyed our stay. Great location, within walking distance to some of the places we wanted to see. Only downside was there was nowhere to hang our clothes. Suggestion is a couple of hooks on the bathroom door. Hope to stay there again in the future.
