It was a bit out of sight, straight of the E40 there was a ibis hotel (better shown) using the same entry that is used for Fast hotel. Not to bad as there is a roundabout to turn if you've past it.
The food was Amazing, at first look pricy, but what you get is worth it and a lot o f it, a salad made me full. My husband's burger was massive and they kept filling up the bread basket.
My creme brulee was on fire (literally) and it was Amazing. The atmosphere was great.
You would have to have someone that knows French a bit as there was only one that knew a bit of english.
Free WiFi and there is a hotel Dog. This makes it feel homey but just for the people that have a fear of them. However I didn't see it until we went down for food.
We emailed them a response, after the confirmation that gave us with the hotel room no, and mentioned we would leave a 2am which was no problem for them, we left the key on the reception and had a code for the security gate.
Yes security gate. It closes at 23.00 you get the code in the confirmation email if you end up getting in late or coming back from day in dunkirk late. It feels really safe to leave the car there and we even left some stuff in the car. (At own risk ofcourse).
Dunkirk is only 8 min away. A service station 2 min on the main road towards the ferry 15 min away.
For the children there is a Zoo really close by 11 min drive or 44min walk.
All in all a good experience for a sleep after and before driving a long way.
