Panoramische villa met privézwembad

Schitterend afgewerkte, moderne villa in het hart van de ongerepte Alcantara-vallei met de beschikking over een privé panoramisch zwembad. Villa Alcantara is een prachtig toevluchtsoord: heerlijk rustig, volledig voorzien van airconditioning en op slechts 10 tot 15 minuten rijden van de beroemde stranden van Giardini Naxos en ongeveer 30 minuten van Taormina.

Gelegen op de helling van een berg biedt Villa Alcantara een weids uitzicht op het weelderige landschap, de architectonische lijst aan de rand van het 50 vierkante meter terras omlijst dit panorama als een ansichtkaart en laat een blijvende indruk achter.

Vanaf het terras heeft u toegang tot de zonovergoten woonkamer. De brede glazen schuifdeuren laten het prachtige schouwspel van de natuur binnen terwijl u ontspant op de bank of ontbijt aan de eettafel. De goed uitgeruste keuken en een satelliet-tv met een dvd-speler zorgen ervoor dat u zich direct thuis voelt. Op deze verdieping bevindt zich ook een toilet.

Het slaapgedeelte, met drie slaapkamers, op de verdieping lager is intern verbonden door een marmeren trap en extern door een tweede trap die rechtstreeks leidt naar het zwembad. De master bedroom heeft een en-suite badkamer met jacuzzi. De andere twee slaapkamers (waarvan één voorzien met een ​​stapelbed) hebben toegang tot een prachtige 'hammam' stijl badkamer met natuurlijk licht dat door de dakramen naar binnen valt. Tot slot is er een aparte wasruimte en boven op het terras een handige buitendouche, ideaal in de zomer wanneer men terugkomt van het strand en natuurlijk voor bij het zwembad.

Panoramic villa with mountain views

Ideallic house with breathtaking views. House is very well equipped and comfy. Far lovlier than the pictures can give credit. Great access to the Alcantara Gorge and a lovely restaurant close by. Giuseppe, the key holder, was very helpful and passionate about the local area. Road leading to the property is a little hairy but to be expected given the remote location. It is essential to have a car staying here as amenities are a drive away. Bit longer than 10 minutes to get to Taormina. Showers were a bit temperamental but again, this is to be expected in Sicily, especially for a property in the mountains. Giuseppe was always on hand and available to support. A wonderful stay and we would highly recommend it.

Modern Villa, Great Pool, View and Location

Loved it! Giuseppe - the villa caretaker - was lovely, helpful and informative. The villa is exactly like the pictures - modern, great equipment and a fantastic pool and outdoor space with great views. The bedrooms - particularly the master - are spacious and cool (because they’re downstairs). The beaches, Taormina, The Gole Alcantara are all within a 20 minute drive, but there are so many places to visit and things to do - Etna is a must!

Property was good. Owners were great and responsive. View from villa is lovely. Locally there is just the nearby resturant that is very nice but we thought menu limited and also pricey. Most days we went into Tao which is fabulous. You just need to accept the 30 min drive each way.

Family Trip

Stayed with our two adult sons and Nephew. Great base for touring .house is really special unbelievable views, wonderful to wake up to each day. Great sunsets from the deck. The nearby restaurant paradise does a wonderful job and it’s just a short walk down the hill. You really feel like you were in the country in a secluded space but you can easily be by the seashore for shopping and lunch. We would love to try the house in season. House manager was very attentive dishwasher broke and was replaced within a day on Easter weekend. We cooked Easter dinner at home and were able to enjoy some family time.

Villa Alcantara

As expected. Modern contemporary villa in a superb setting. Peaceful and quiet with stunning views. The nearby Paradise Restaurant was excellent but the only one within possible walking distance ( hence the 4 star location rating) The access road is a sleep dirt track and a 4x4 is recommended but not essential. The property manager, Giuseppe, was unfortunately ill during our stay but as we had no questions nor issues we had no need to contact him (hence the 1 star rating) The villa was equipped with everything one could want and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others. A great base from which to explore this area of North East Sicily.

Very pleasant stay

This is a lovely peaceful modern villa with spectacular views. It suited our needs very well but the number of steps and drops would make it unsafe for young children. The track approaching the villa was very rough, steep and overgrown (we trimmed back some of the thorny bushes). Overall a very pleasant stay.

Jederzeit wieder Die Bilder vom Online Inserat sind wohl mehr als zehn Jahre alt (siehe Baumwachstum) und sollten aktualisiert werden. Eine Renovierung ist an manchen Stellen angebracht. Bei dem Preis sollte alles Top sein. Die Auffahrt / Zufahrt zum Haus ist die ersten Male eine Herausforderung für Fahrer und Auto (5 er Touring mit Schaltgetriebe). Geländer sind zu niedrig oder nicht vorhanden so dass die Anlage für Kinder die die Gefahr nicht einschätzen können nicht geeignet ist. Der Ausblick ist toll, besonders wenn der Etna aktiv ist. Von der Terrasse sieht man den Bäcker der echt leckeres Brot anbietet. In der Küche fehlt lediglich ein Toaster eine komplette Kaffeemaschine Für die „Sommermonate“ ist der nicht beheizte Pool eine willkommene Abkühlung. Wir hatten dort eine sehr tolle Zeit und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Nice house with a pool and a fantastic view

The house is very nice and spacious. Our kids loved the pool although the water was already quite cool. Apart from some minor things that need to be improved or repaired, on the whole it deserves the best note.

Fantastic villa!

We had such a great holiday - I can't recommend it highly enough! The villa itself is just amazing. The architecture is stunning - a really unique place that offered peace and quiet along with great facilities and a perfect location. Situated a 5 minute drive from the main road up a dirt track (a vehicle with high clearance is recommended) it is isolated but with easy access to gaggi with several bars, cafes and shops and its just a 40 minute drive to beautiful Taormina. Giuseppe was a great host and I can thoroughly recommend spending the day with him visiting etna (he was very knowledgeable and took us on a great hike) and then wine tasting - well worth the money and a superb day. There is a restaurant at the bottom of the dirt track called paradise which is worth a visit and I can also recommend the pizza making class in Taormina. Thos property would be ideal for 2 or 3 couples or 2 families who want to be close to plenty of activities but have a tranquil place to themselves. We loved it!

Good stay but a few improvements required

There are pluses and minuses with our stay: Pluses: We would recommend it if guests don't mind driving as it's 20 mins from Taormina and 10 mins from the nearest shop in the local village. We loved Michael Cafe (excellent granite & snacks and the local supermarket - Maxisconti). The distances to other attractions are considerable as Sicily is deceptively large. The hillside location is very tranquil and the air conditioning and pool were very good. Minuses: We strongly recommend that the owners refurbish the villa with better furniture, bedding(very uncomfortable) and towels (thin and worn) which were substandard as was the cleaning. The IKEA furniture has simply worn out. Also the track leading to the villa requires a small four wheel drive (we had a low car despite ordering a four wheel drive and constantly scraped the bottom of our car on it) or concrete and/or gravel laid. Guiseppe, however, was an excellent host - friendly, attentive and very helpful.

Amazing views

We had a fantastic stay here and the views were just amazing. The inside could do with a little spruce up, but the outside definitely made up for it. Giuseppe was extremely helpful and friendly throughout. His tour up Mount Etna was also amazing. We had a great stay here! Would recommend a car if staying here as it is a drive to the nearest shops and the villa is located up quite a steep hill.

Modernes Haus

Super Urlaub in einem Haus , in dem es an nichts fehlte . Sehr gute Betreuung vor und während des Aufenthalt . Die Landschaft und die Aussicht sind traumhaft schön . Küchenausstattung war sehr gut ,leider gab es keinen Toaster . Eine Nespresso Kaffeemaschine fehlte uns auch . Betten sehr bequem und genügend Handtücher waren vorhanden . Schön waren auch die Besuche von friedlichen Pferden und netten Hund aus der Nachbarschaft .

Schönes Haus in guter Lage

Wir (Eltern + 4 Kinder) waren vom 14.-26.10.2018 in dem Ferienhaus. Die Lage ist für Ausflüge / Wanderungen zum/am Etna sowie an die Ost- und Nordküste ideal. Zum Baden sind wir oft an den unweit gelegenen Strand St. Marco gefahren (schöner unverbauter Strand), zumal der Pool witterungsbedingt doch schon recht kalt war, das Meer im Oktober aber noch sehr angenehm war. Taormina und viele kleine schöne Küstenorte sind schnell zu erreichen. In Bezug auf eine frühere Bewertung: Das WiFi funktioniert in den oberen Räumen sehr gut. Die Aussicht ist aus den Wohn- und 2 Schlafräumen über große Fenster sehr schön. Entsprechend sind die installierten Klimaanlagen aber (im Sommer) zwingend notwendig. Ein Schlafzimmer liegt innen (ohne Fenster). Für kleine Kinder sind der Zugang inmitten des Pools zum unteren Geschoss sowie die niedrigen Begrenzungen nicht ungefährlich. Insgesamt hat uns das Haus gut gefallen.

Fantastic house and location

A very comfortable,well equipped house.Lovely views from the terrace and nice pool to relax around,listening to the owls in the evening. 10 minutes from the highway so easy to drive to the sights. Paradise restaurant is a 10 minute walk,great local Sicilian food and wine, 5 people,1 + 1/2 caraf’s of wine,coke,5 main meals,4 desserts 135 euros, Great value and great food. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Villa Alcantara and recommend it.
