Awesome and Priavate Location
Great residential location close to town and near a beautiful city park. The place is nicely decorated, very clean, and I loved the private patio where I had my meals. The host was kind and responsive. It has everything you need for a great stay!!!!

2nd time staying here for the wild and scenic film festival

Best VRBO We've Ever Stayed At
We absolutely loved our stay! Location was perfect for doing things in both Grass Valley and Nevada City. It's clean, cozy, comfy, quiet and modern. Anything we could possibly need was in the unit: kitchen tools, sound machine, snack basket, earplugs, blow dryer...and the list goes on. Hands down the best VRBO we've ever stayed at! Thanks for a lovely stay!

We were very pleased with our stay at Butler Place. It was peaceful, quiet, and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the private outdoor deck. Our hosts Justin and Aldo were great communicators which helped us feel welcome and well informed. We would absolutely consider booking a stay here in the future.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Justin’s property. Super cute updated property. It was especially relaxing on the upper deck off the living room having a cup of tea in the morning surrounded by the sounds of nature. The downtown area was very charming with different shops and restaurants. I loved eating at the Mediterranean restaurant and the chocolate shop has the best sea salt gelato! Justin has thought of everything to make for a comfortable, safe and pleasant stay. I would absolutely choose to stay at his location again.

My husband said, "you did good" 😊 we loved the property. So quiet and peaceful. The neighborhood is beautiful and the property is super clean and tastefully decorated. We always travel with our own coffee supplies (we take our coffee very seriously) but we were very surprised at how well stocked the kitchen is. We will definitely be back and recommend to our family and friends.

Romantic cottage, close to everything!
Came over from Reno for a two-night stay in Grass Valley (our first time staying in the area), to explore the town and visit the Nevada County Fair. We couldn’t have chosen a better place! A half-mile walk into town, through a charming neighborhood; a half-mile walk in the other direction, to the fairgrounds. The cottage had everything we wanted (they even had a french press!). Modern, comfortable throughout; the back porch was the perfect place for an afternoon glass of wine and a little writing. Check-in and out was effortless.

Adorable and roomy space in a safe environment
Butler Place had everything we needed, and was easy to find and use. Everything worked well - especially the heater. The place got really warm almost instantly after we returned from frolicking around on a cold, holiday night.

We enjoyed our stay at this home for our week in Grass Valley. Close enough to walk if the .8 miles is doable for you, but an easy drive as well and plenty of parking available near downtown. Justin was very quick to respond to the few questions we had.

This place was incredible! The location was great and the unit was extremely clean and well furnished. It felt like a home away from home as it had a kitchen, living room, and outdoor area in addition to the bedroom and bathroom. Also, the host went above and beyond to make the place comfortable. I was so impressed by the whole experience. If you are looking for a place to stay in Grass Valley, I highly recommend you book this now! You are close enough to downtown to easily enjoy the city but the place is so nice you will enjoy your downtime as well!

A peaceful home sweet home
Plenty of room for two people who don't necessarily have the same sleep schedule, which is so important when traveling. The entire stay was great. Easy access, clean, well-equipped kitchen, close to parking and walking trails. I enjoyed a cup of hot tea on the peaceful balcony. I'm coming back!

A Great Place For a Couple
My wife and I were in town for a friend's wedding. We stayed four nights. The place was perfect for us. It was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The location couldn't have been better. Explore Grass Valley from Butler Place
I was visiting for a 3 day fly fishing trip centered around Grass Valley. Couldn't have picked a more perfect place to call home for these days. The property is impeccably clean and well stocked in both the kitchen and bathrooms. The hosts provide a small basket with waters and snacks and there is plenty of room in the pantry and fridge for anything else you bring along. The residential street gives you the feeling of being a local. You're within a short walk of a great park with trails, playground, and disc golf course. You're also only a few minutes walk from downtown Grass Valley. This becomes even more important on busy evenings and weekends when parking downtown can be challenging. Save yourself the effort and enjoy the nice walk. While the property is adjacent to the main house, you'll have complete privacy. Enjoyed my time at Butler Place and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

This place was exactly like the photos and was comfortable with a fully stocked kitchen. Super clean place in a nice quiet neighborhood. Close enough to the downtown area, if you want to walk.
