HOOG OP HELTON - Lange voorgevel op Helton Creek - Een van de best gevulde forelstromen in het westen van NC. Je kunt High On Helton niet verslaan! U zult genieten van de rustige, bosrijke omgeving langs de kreek met vuurplaats aan het water. Je hebt veel manieren om van het buitenleven te genieten! Deze 3 verdiepingen tellende blokhut is op 10 mooie beboste hectare. Het biedt tal van mogelijkheden om te genieten van de natuurlijke schoonheid van het gebied, waaronder de kans om herten en wilde kalkoenen te zien. De cabine heeft een omhullend dek dat de voorkant bedekt en een groot gangboord. Dek stoelen, patio set en gas grill. Lagere patio biedt een bubbelbad om 's nachts te ontspannen met het geluid van de kreek en de sterren!

High on Helton biedt drie niveaus van leefruimte. De begane grond is warm en uitnodigend met een open keuken / woon / eetkamer met kathedraal, balkenplafonds. Keuken is voorzien van koelkast met ijsblokjesmachine. Comfortabele zitplaatsen, perfect om op te knappen bij de warme open haard en de game of uw favoriete film te bekijken op de flatscreen-satelliet-tv met stereo surround sound. Gratis wifi. De slaapkamer op het hoogste niveau heeft een queensize bed en een 42-inch smart-tv voor streaming en het complete bad is toegankelijk vanuit de slaapkamer of de gang.

Bovenste slaapkamer heeft een stapelbed met volle bodem en twee boven en wieg.

Het lagere niveau biedt een grote speelkamer met leisteen pooltafel, stoelen en een flatscreen-tv. 2e complete badkamer en 3e slaapkamer met koningin slaapkamer set.

Het perfecte uitje voor familie en vrienden, deze hut heeft alles wat u nodig heeft voor een ontspannende bergvakantie; koele schaduw in de zomermaanden en spectaculaire kleuren in de herfst. Centrale warmte. WIFI. Onbeperkte Amerikaanse lange afstand.

A little disappointing

Love the location and surroundings. Kitchen, upstairs bedrooms and baths very nice. We had to move or kill more than 10 wasps. The downstairs had a little smell to it. The washer had mold on the inside.

Nice private home to relax

The property is a nice home and seems well suited for a family of 5 (Living Room only accommodates 5 people). The home is adjacent to a babbling creek and a place to hang by the water. The kitchen is well used and could use a deep cleaning (discovered a bag of weed in the utensil drawer). Kitchen has adequate plates and pots, but no baking dishes. The single window air condition seemed to cool the main floor ok as long as the 2nd floor bedroom door was closed. The addition of a central HVAC system would be a plus to remove the moisture in the house, especially from the basement. New fresh smelling towel would be a plus. This property is out of the way and is about 1 hour to Damascus or 1.5 hours to Boone, but very close to lots of fishing. Though I was concerned with the inadequate HVAC for the August temperatures, we had a good time at the house and found the hot tub refreshing after activities. A few minor rental updates would make this place wonderful. One note: There are cameras outside and inside the property.

Beautiful spot

Excellent location with lots of opportunity to take in birdwatching from porch or hot tub, fishing on the creek, grilling on the porch. We thoroughly enjoyed our drives to Grayson Highlands and Lansing and just exploring the beautiful area.

Fantastic stay by the river

This property is very isolated and we deeply enjoyed listening to the river, the rain, and all the birds in the trees surrounding it. If you're into fishing, it looks like this would be a great spot! Otherwise, it's a fantastic house, with great decks and rec-room in a great location. Bugs aren't an issue, as I was worried they might be (being in the trees and so close to the river). The AC window unit also kept up well and the basement stays very cool on its own (although I would expect to stay a bit warmer during the height of summer, if that's an issue).

Beautiful Location

Had a great weekend with friends. Location is beautiful overlooking the water. Hot tub was just what we needed after a trip on the Virginia creeper. We chose to cook every meal there and enjoy the surroundings and amenities. Plan to come back with our kids on our next trip to the area.

The beds were extremely comfortable, unlike most rental locations. The hot tub did a great job of helping unwind. I honestly expected more fish, but overall we had a great time. The only problem we encountered was buying beer, you should definitely do so before you get there

Great Getaway

We take all our kids and all our nephews every year on a trip for their Christmas gift. This place was so much fun. The kids were never bored at all with the hot tub, game room, fire pit and river at the back door. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The only thing I have to complain about was someone threaten to call the law on us for noise and we were not even being loud and the neighbors are not close at all. You could compare how loud we were to guys watching a football game. Also there were fisherman walking all on the property to get to the river and once I found them sitting at the fire pit. That made us very cautious with letting the kids have complete free range. Other then those 2 things, we hope to visit again and would definitely recommend this quaint little house to others. 1 more thing I would recommend taking a truck if you have one. Most of the roads are gravel.

Perfect Mountain Escape

We were looking for a quiet getaway and could not have found a more perfect place! The cabin was exactly as shown. All amenities were wonderful! Comfy beds, plenty of room and beyond peaceful listening to the sounds of the creek. We had to call for a fan problem with the fridge. It was taken care of immediately....even on a holiday weekend. Definitely want to come back
