'We were celebrating my wife’s 40th birthday. There were 17 people in our group. Adults and children. Something for everyone to do. We enjoyed relaxing at the property by the pools, fishing from the dock, kayaking and paddle boarding. We went scuba diving with better than most scuba, deep sea fishing on the tail walker. We hired chef Heather for several dinners. It was an amazing trip.'

I imagine it had to do with the timing (tides, etc). The bugs were brutal and I think the beach area breeds them. 'The house boat was beautiful, clean and the patio over looking the lagoon was very relaxing. There are manatees that visit too. :) The neighbors are very friendly, as is the staff. The kayaks and bicycles are included in the rental, which is fantastic. The location s very close to groceries and local parks. We took an airplane scenic ride which was the highlight of the trip. The small airport is only 3 miles away. We will come back to Yacth Haven !'

'Het huis zag er nog bijna nieuw uit, alle kamers waren mooi ingericht. Zowel boven (bij de master bedroom) als beneden een veranda om heerlijk op te zitten. Wij waren met 5 personen en hadden meer dan genoeg ruimte. Fijn dat het gemeenschappelijke zwembad vlakbij het huis lag. Locatie was ook prima, stranden op 10 min rijden, restaurants in de directe omgeving en je kunt gemakkelijk naar de verschillende 'keys' rijden.'

'The house was beautiful and everything we needed was right there. If I could have changed anything about the house, it would be to add a dresser in each bedroom. I'm not a live out of a suitcase kind of girl. So having a place to put my clothes that don't hang up would be nice. But, it had very large closets in each bedroom. Thank you for everything. 'Onze kamer had aparte keuken met gasbuis, pompbak, goede ijskast/diepvries en vooral borden en bestek. De airco kon de warmte niet verwerken waardoor je niet kon slapen van de hitte. Dit was bijv in Key Largo geen probleem. De gasbbq zoals op de foto’s bestaan niet maar zijn vervangen door enkele houtskool exemplaren aan het strandgedeelte. Service is er niet (buiten inchecken), en als je ijsblokjes wil moet je betalen voor een zak (alleen tijdens de kantooruren dus). Je mag er ook niet zwemmen...
