'I'm now thinking of other reasons to come to Martinsville just to stay here! A very beautiful and inviting property. Loved using the common areas and cooking in the kitchen. The tomatoes from the garden are delicious! The innkeeper has provided so many thoughtful touches to make your stay a comfortable and memorable one. Amazing snack tray in our rooms made us feel pampered. Plenty of extra blankets and pillows of all firmness and most importantly comfortable mattresses made for grrat sleeping....

'We arrived late, after 10pm, desperate for a room because our original booking was disgusting and we had to leave. We were greeted instantly, a room was available immediately, it was cool, clean and exactly what we needed. We felt safe and comfortable and we are so very thankful!'

The place was quiet and felt safe. The management were friendly and cared about our comfort. The price was reasonable. It was much better than others in the area at this price point. Easy to find. Close to a few restaurants and stores. I would definitely return. '

'Everything was really nice. The staff was very responsive. I am disturbed that telephones are in the room but are not connected, and in my case, don't even have a connection in the room at all. I enjoyed breakfast, and the lady who prepared it was really nice, but would love to have had regular eggs (not fried hard) or even hard boiled ones (I don't prefer scrambled lol).'
