  • Nieuwe foto's geüpload. Rustieke, gezellige gezinscabine in de Mill Creek Cove bij de 4-mijlsmarkering van de Gravois Arm is perfect voor een uitje met het meer! Deze privécabine aan het meer ligt op een 1,5 hectare weelderig, groen gras met een eigen aanlegsteiger voor gasten. Buitenruimte met unieke, vlakke achtertuin is perfect om je veilig te voelen bij de kleintjes of op zoek te gaan naar zeeschelpen. Breng de avond door met het roosteren van s'mores in de vuurkorf of kijk hoe de zon ondergaat op de schommelbank. Voldoende ruimte om te parkeren.

    De begane grond bestaat uit een woonkamer met een flatscreen-tv met blu-Ray speler, een bijkeuken met wasmachine en droger, een volledig uitgeruste keuken, een eethoek, een complete badkamer met douche en twee slaapkamers met een queensize bed.

    De keuken is uitgerust met een elektrisch fornuis, een fornuis, een magnetron, een koelkast, basisapparatuur zoals een koffiepot en een kruik, kookgerei, keukengerei, servies en bestek (kindergerei en bestek ook aanwezig). Keuken heeft een eiland voor tegenzit en converseren. Kleine kindertafel met stoelen, perfect voor eten, kleuren of knutselen.

    Een trap leidt naar de master-loftsuite met een extra aparte privé-ingang. Hardhouten vloeren en gewelfde plafonds lopen door het hoofdgebouw met een queensize bed met een stapelbed. Gasten zullen genieten van een eigen badkamer met een dubbele wastafel, een bubbelbad en een aparte inloopdouche.

    Fantastische beschutte patio met comfortabel, diep zitmeubilair en een eettafel met uitzicht op het meer. Sloop een kopje koffie en vang de ochtendnevel op over het water. Geniet van rustige maaltijden of 's avonds cocktails op het overdekte terras om te genieten van al het meer te bieden heeft. Propaangrill op terras.

    Een goed dok is 28 'diep met een zwemtrap en een prachtig uitzicht. Kanonbal van het dok in de superzwemmende baai of werp een lijn om meer te vangen dan alleen een knabbel. Vergeet niet om uw eerste vis te documenteren en te delen met ons!

    Family Lake Cabin wordt professioneel schoongemaakt met beddengoed, handdoeken, handdoeken, washandjes en keukenhanddoeken. Startpakketten voor afwasmiddel, afwasmiddel, wasmiddel, papieren handdoeken, toiletpapier en vuilniszakken. Great place!

Our family really enjoyed the dock for fishing. Home was very cozy, loved sitting out on the patio watching the boys fish. Very calm and peaceful. We could only use 1/2 of the small grill so we didn’t grill out but once. Which was fine as the kitchen was well stocked with appliances needed. Only thing I have to say negative would be the toilet downstairs needs updated and the infamous stairs up to the loft. (I didn’t even attempt them) too steep. Would definitely rent this again!

This is a really great little place. The beds were comfy, the kitchen VERY well stocked, and the location is so peaceful. There's an entire closet of kids' toys that kept the little ones entertained, which was helpful. We really loved our stay here. A few details I wish we'd known beforehand: -The stairs to the loft are STEEP and tiny. They fit a 10-year-old's foot reasonably. We had all the kids sleeping up there and had to ban socks on the stairs after an adult slid down them (sober). -Don't disregard the directions to take Peony Road - we were given the instructions and chose to follow Google's direction and took Violet Road instead. Don't do this. -You will have to haul off all your own trash. Wish we'd realized this before the day we left and asked the neighbor. There's a gas station a few miles away where you can pay 3-something a bag. -There are no extra paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, etc. No big deal, this place is very worth it, and every rental does things differently, but I like knowing this ahead of time and didn't see it listed in any review. -The water is only 4 to 5 feet deep off the dock. We tested this as far out as 50 feet straight out from the dock. This little place is truly a gem and we'd definitely stay again!

House provided a great location for the family to hang out and relax. From swimming and fishing at the dock to sitting around the fire pit and hanging out on the porch, the entire stay was very peaceful and relaxing.

Cozy cabin on a Quiet Cove Close to the Action

The cabin is cozy and had just enough room for 6 adults and two little kids. There would be room for more kiddos, but any more adults would mean pretty tight quarters. All the beds are very comfy and each room has a ceiling fan. The kitchen is well stocked and there was plenty of propane for the grills. The dock is very nice. We docked our pontoon boat there all week and used the ramp one property over to put the boat in and out. There was between 4 and 6 feet of water under the dock and it was great for swimming and floating. The host provided plenty of firewood to have multiple campfires during our stay. The house is well stocked with toys for the kids and babies. The A/C works excellent: The temperature outside was nearing 100 degrees every day and even the upstairs stayed cold. The wifi was was fast enough to stream movies in multiple rooms at one time. Plan to bring coolers and ice for beverages. We tried to put a bunch of warm beverages in the fridge and it took ages to catch up and get cold again. We enjoyed that fact that the house was on the end of a long, quiet cove, so there was minimal boat traffic. Lots of fun bars and restaurants are just 10 to 20 minutes away by boat or 10 minutes by car. We found some good fishing off the dock and by boat a couple points down.

Great family getaway

This property was great for a weekend getaway on the lake. You can watch sunrise/sunset on the screened porch and access your boat via the dock. Nice and clean property!

Nice little Cabin

We really enjoyed our time here. Nice quiet cove for swimming and kayaking. I will say there are quiet a bit of spiders, we even had one brown recluse we had to kill. That being said the house was setup perfectly for adults on the main level and kids upstairs in the loft. One thing for others to be aware of, front door of house is into the loft area - that was kind of a shock to us. Overall a nice house.

Great house with some hiccups

We had a great time on the lake. The biggest issue is the road getting there. We arrived at night and it was challenging to say the least. Single lane road with no pull offs. So if you don’t have the right away, you may be backing up for a bit. The house is below the road and hard to see at night. It’s about a 100 degree turn onto the driveway. If you have a vehicle that’s raised at bit, bring it. We scraped the bottom of our van a couple of times. The doc was awesome to fish from but had a bunch of spider webs. Don’t hesitate to rent this place. Just arrive in the daytime.

Okay but not ideal

This is a decent casual house for vacationing at the lake. If you’re looking for that special place with extra charm, however, this isn’t it. Just walking around the property, the flower beds and planters were full of weeds, no flowers. There was dog poo in the side yard by the patio, maybe from the previous renter (?). The picnic table had a soggy paper towel roll on it. When grilling out, my husband remained standing to avoid the ants climbing on the picnic table. There is a small iron grate in the grass just off the sidewalk that is overgrown with weeds. I tripped and fell our first day there because I didn’t see it, banging up my knee. Inside the house, there were cleanliness and maintenance issues: bedsheets with an old stain, a very wobbly kitchen stool. My dog found an old bone in a recliner chair, and I also found a pen and some ear buds among the detritus. The Keurig machine didn’t work, and it had stale water sitting in it. Then there are the stairs. It’s hard to see from the photos, but the stairs leading from the upper living area down to the main floor are steep and a bit slippery. The hosts have a baby gate that we used. We rented the place because it’s dog friendly, but the stairs aren’t. The bathroom upstairs was nice, with a jetted tub and great shower head. Too bad it’s up all those stairs. The downstairs toilet is so old, the seat is round. And then there were the ticks. On Day 2, we spent the afternoon sitting out by the lake in the wooden chairs. And got ticks, nine of them. That ended our ability to sit out by the lake or use the fire pit. Two days later, we found more ticks on us and in the screened-in porch. I emailed our host who said the lawn had been treated a few weeks prior but unfortunately, there was nothing else to be done due to approaching storms. Seems part of the reason for the ticks was because the neighbor hadn’t mown his yard in quite awhile. Still, if you know people are going to be using your outdoor area, be zealous in making that area safe for humans and pets. The last Vrbo place we stayed felt welcoming and homey, like the hosts had made an effort. Not here.

Steep driveway otherwise perfect

This was a great place to stay! Clean and great location!! The only issue we ran into was the driveway. If you have a boat and trailer it’s hard to park ( even with a seasoned driver). It’s pretty steep with a very sharp turn. Other than that our stay was perfect!

Great Family Spot

This was a great place to bring the family for a quick weekend away. The yard was a great size and easy for the grandparents to be able to walk to the dock and hang out by the camp fire. Kids loved to kayak around the cove as well. Our family enjoyed the covered patio to still enjoy the outside but not get bit up at night. The boat slip being right next to the dock was a big plus as well. Everyone enjoyed the trip and we had a great vacation.

Cabin by the lake

We enjoyed our stay very much. The lake view and scenery was beautiful. I think, for us, as older adults, the stairs made it difficult and tiring for us to get all of our belongings into the cabin. Overall, we had a very good stay.

Weekend Get-Away

This cabin was very nice and had everything we needed. The loft was especially nice, and we really appreciated it having it's own entrance. It was very convenient for us older folks to go out that door and go around to the back porch. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was easy to get around in with six adults, and the sun porch was awesome. We also loved that the yard was flat and it had a great fire pit area with comfortable seating. We would definitely consider renting this cabin again in the future.

Quiet Getaway

The Cabin was amazing! It was exactly as pictured, had all the necessities and was in a quiet cove. We spent a lot of time on the patio looking at the lake. We needed a peaceful getaway and we got it! Will definitely consider staying there again.

Trip to the Ozarks

We loved this property! It's set way off the channel and very quite. The water is only 8 ft deep which made it great for the kids to swim in.

Perfect family getaway!

Excellent experience staying here recently with my family! Really liked that there were no stairs to get to the dock so easily accessible for smaller kids and adults. Relaxing on the screened in porch was a favorite for all! Would definitely recommend.

Really great place.

This was a great location on the lake if you want quiet and privacy. The owner is very quick to answer questions and assist us when we arrived earlier than expected. The house was exactly like the photos and the dock was great for our boat.
