'The accommodation was very impressive, extremely well equipped and immaculately clean with lovely extra's of snacks and freshly baked bread. The Alexa system was so easy to use and the shower was lovely.The only downside was that the deposit taken the day before arrival was more than the booking, so looking forward to getting that back a.s.a.p. and the twin beds were a bit smaller than a normal single bed. I would highly recommend this property to others as it is high quality accommodation.'

'Cottage lovely and warm when we arrived. Could not get our heads around the wood burn. Bed is a touch low and bottom frame and drawers under bed likely to cause serious damage to toes and feet.Was very cosy.'

'This is a lovely property, so well equipped, so many items which we have usually had to take wit us or buy on arrival are provided. The weather when we were there was quite wet for some of the time and also chilly but the cottage was always warm. It was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Add to that the lovely welcome gift awaiting us was most generous. The countryside in the area is beautiful, lovely views from the property and good walks close by. 'We all had the most wonderful New Year stay at Curlew Lodge, it was spotless with some lovely personal touches such as fresh bread, eggs, butter & a chocolate cake that was delicious!
The garden & views were lovely. The weather was terrible for most of our stay so didn’t manage to explore as much as we’d have have liked. The local village was a 25 min walk, we enjoyed a few visits to the Kings Head which was lovely with good food & atmosphere. We look forward to going back again.
