Chalet In West Virginia aan de rivier de Cacapon

Plezier op de rivier !!! Welkom bij ons vakantiehuis in West Virginia dat we liefkozend "The Nest" noemen. Onze 2 hectare grote thuishaven bevindt zich op een 20 hectare grote weide aan de oevers van de Cacapon-rivier, slechts 20 minuten ten westen van Berkeley Springs. Een kopje koffie in de ochtend op het dek, luisteren en kijken naar de vogels als ze zwemmen en vliegen langs de rivier. En als je echt geluk hebt kun je een glimp opvangen van de bewoner Bald eagles te vangen.

Totaal comfort wacht op u, twee king size Tempur-Pedic matrassen en comfortabele stapelbedden, dekens, beddengoed en handdoeken inbegrepen (queen size luchtbed is ook beschikbaar). Een 54 inch flatscreen-HDTV met surround sound en DirecTV met meer dan 145 zenders en Wi-Fi internet. We hebben ook een 40 inch Samsung flatscreen HDTV met dvd-speler met een selectie van 150 verschillende titels. Voldoende bordspellen en puzzels beschikbaar voor uw plezier. Voor de outdoorliefhebber hebben we twee kajaks, maisborden en verschillende ballen en frisbees om speurtochten te gebruiken.

Keuken is voorzien van gasfornuis, magnetron, borden, glazen, bestek, wafelijzer, popcorn popper, Ninja blender, crock pot, koffiezetapparaat, en een broodrooster. Ook beschikbaar zijn gemeenschappelijke kruiden en specerijen.

Gasten mogen geen trailer in ATV's en motorboten. Geen vuurwapens toegestaan.

Opblaasbaar matras van queen size.

Onze wens is om te verhuren aan verantwoordelijke volwassenen en niet om ons huis gebruikt als een feestje rondhangen.

Amazing Home on the River

Clean, comfortable house on a large piece of land with direct river access. Beautifully decorated. Amazing firepit, outdoor games and huge mowed yard surrounding the property. Looking forward to coming back.

A Place Away From Busy Life

My friends and I loved Jack’s cabin. It was peaceful and close by to nearby parks. The cabin itself was very clean and had a lot of included amenities, including kayaks, which we were grateful for. The check-in process was easy as Jack met us at the property to hand us the keys and go over onboarding. Check out was very easy. We would definitely recommend this to small families or friends who are looking to get away from the busy world of urban or suburban Maryland.

Wonderful Thanksgiving!

My family enjoyed our stay here over the Thanksgiving holiday. Hidden gem

I don’t have enough good things to say about staying here! We stayed for 6 days and were so sad to leave. Jack and Jeannie have put so much thought into the house. It had everything you could need! The property is so beautiful and peaceful and was a great place to relax and enjoy each other’s company. The river access is like no other. We saw a couple groups of people further up the river but only had 2 kayakers go past us the whole time we were there. It was like having our own private river! We loved getting to use the kayaks, but also enjoyed just floating around since the current was not very strong. This place is truly a hidden gem and we can’t wait to plan our next visit back here!

Best Girls Weekend Getaway

This home is clean and fully stocked with everything you need for a relaxing time by the river. The 2nd fridge is a great addition along with several outdoor activities and an amazing fire pit. Jack was very responsive and his detailed instructions prior to, and during check in were perfect. Jack is very friendly and we enjoyed the guided tour upon arrival. We have been staying at river front houses for 15 years and this by far was the BEST one we have encountered. The location is secluded and beaming with wildlife. We saw a bald eagle, deer, river otters, fish, many types of birds and a great array of butterflies. It was simply the perfect weekend.

From booking to check-out, Jack made this stay hands down one of the best yet! Outstanding communication, extremely clean, amazing customer service…we were blown away at the attention to detail which made us feel right at home. The property is remarkable. We spent our days kayaking, relaxing on the deck/in the Adirondack chairs and enjoyed beautiful nights around the fire pit. Best rental property we’ve ever stayed in, 100% recommend!

Beautiful Fall Stay

Stayed this past weekend and had an amazing time on the property. Jack met us at the house and gave us a quick tour and provided all the info we needed. The house had all the amenities you could need and more. The provided firewood to make fires at the fire pit under the lights was a great feature, and we were even able to take advantage of a short kayak ride even though the water levels were quite low. Fall Summit 2022

The Nest was a perfect place for our fall trip. Everything about this place is well thought out and nicely appointed. The wrap around deck made for porch sitting and full moon viewing. We saw deer, fox, bald eagles and so many different birds of the area. We could almost see the leaves changing right before our eyes. We loved this space and would love to visit again.
