'We had a one night stay at Torlands and wish we could have stayed longer!
The host met us on arrival for check in and showed us to our room. Everything was explained to us and we felt very welcome straight away.
The room was very spacious and clean with very modern touches. The bathroom was excellent and also very clean.
We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast the next morning with a fantastic selection of hot and cold items.
We very much look forward to our next stay here. '
'We had a fantastic stay. We felt so looked after by all staff. We were particularly impressed with the young man who showed us to our room (despite a small key issue) and served us at breakfast - he was so polite and professional, he's an asset to the business!
The room had everything we could need during our stay - comfy beds, nice toiletries provided in the bathroom and the biggest biscoffs I've ever seen!

'Super accommodation. The staff are ultra attentive and the food is first class. Beautiful part of the world to stay in but maybe a little remote for some. Only slight drawback was we were housed in the ground floor room of the boathouse and the noise of people walking around in the room above is very loud. If they got up in the night it wakes you up.'

'It was a great place to stay, its something new and different, when i stayed me and wife were the only 2 people checked in, we meet the owner of the property got a tour around the place, the garden area needs a little TLC on the path ways but we didnt mine this it was nice, the owner is extremely happy nice lady she was upbeat and chatting each time she saw us made sure we were okay and check if we needed anything.

'August 25 stay.First time in Ross. Hotel ideally placed for walk into town and also walk down to river but this walk steep so take your time.Hotel I gave excellent, nothing to complain about stay in king size bedroom.Staff helpful and pleasant. What else do you want for a short stay.'
'Lovely accommodation, clean, modern, pretty and spacious garden, safe off road parking.
3 very comfy bedrooms, nice living room with dining table. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher as well as utility room with washing machine.
The road is a bit noisy with very fast traveling, but we soon got used to this. It wouldn't put us off staying here again.
The location of cottage is close to many lovely attractions including Forest of Dean, Clearwell Caves and Puzzle Wood.'
