'This place had some lovely little touches to it, from the trolly cart to ferry our belongings to a receiving a welcome letter from Charlie. We had a lovely couple of days here. Spent time in the hot tub and the evenings by the fire pit after having a lovely BBQ. There were kids in the fields behind paying foot ball in what must have been their back garden which that's perfectly fine but i think the swearing shocked us a little bit. However that said we still had a lovely time. Felt sad...

'Old Carriage House converted into a wonderful apartment. We loved the location of this stay. We were just a short walk down from Colchester Castle and High Street, where we could find a wide range of pubs, restaurants, and shops. The city centre train station was just a short walk away as well. Thank you to our host for the awesome check-in and also for the lift to the "other" train station for our trip back into London.
