'Front desk was suoer friendly and even gave us a complimentary upgrade. The room was beautiful, we loved the soaking tub! The Palm Grill was excellent with friendly and accomodating service. The lobby bar was gorgeous, but both bartenders working could have been a little warmer. They were not unfriendly, just no smile or even a "how is your night". I run a hotel and bar so those little touches go a long way and when guests do not get them, it is noticed. Overall, 4.8 stars - we cant wait to go...

'We were quit taken by this lovely hotel! It’s the kind of place that invites you to sit and read a good book. We will definitely stay here again because of its innate charm. That being said, it has become rather worn down. The bed was lumpy (yet comfortable) and the furniture was showing its age. It was very clean, however. It really is a wonderful hotel, it just needs a bit of a financial investment to bring it back to its glory. '

'Hotel is upscale with nice room amenities. Top notch shampoo, conditioner etc provided in the bathrooms. A bit too pricey for meals, even with the $20 hotel credit per purchase. The $20 destination fee per day & $28 self-parking fee per day seem excessive. Staff is very friendly & attentive. Some of the elevators do not work to go to the upper floor rooms by scanning the room key card.'
