'Staff were extremely helpful and accommodated an early check in for us due us attending a wedding. Breakfast the next day was lovely with lots of options. Room was nice and clean and tidy. Would recommend!'
'Lovely old building in centre of Callander. Easy check in at bar. Spotlessly clean bedroom with comfy bed and nice touch is complimentary bottled water and toiletries. Self serve continental breakfast was excellent with a great choice of cereals, yogurts, muffins, flapjacks and toast. Staff were all lovely and welcoming. There is a Car park less than 5 mins walk away and costs £4.50 per day from 8.45 -17.30 so 'free' after that and we walked round at 8.40 the next morning to pay for another...
'Waverly is a really nice place to hav a fantastisch night out. The pub look great and the food is really good.
The focus more om the pub than on the hotel.
Rooms look nice but curtains don't block the sunlight properly so you are awake at 5.30. If that doesn't wake you, the lorries in the busy street will. The windows don't block any sound and cant be opened without having to stick something under them.
Beds are too hard.
When it comes to the bathroom, things get worse. Bad smell of fungus,...
'On smaller loch ard, near Loch Lomond, this hotel is off the beaten path. It’s beautiful and peaceful with amazing views of the water from every window. The hosts are so welcoming and we wish we would have planned to stay longer. They also saved us a lot of driving time by letting is know of a road closure that wasn’t on google maps. The food was good also but I can’t say enough about the hospitality.'
'We loved staying in the yurt! We were walking the Rob Roy Way and treated ourselves to a bed for the night. Melanie was a really relaxed host and very welcoming, and made a killer breakfast in the morning which set us up well for a day of walking. '

Only thing was we couldn’t find instructions for the cooker and to put the hot water on but we nipped over to reception and they were helpful (with the hot water and we worked out the cooker!!). 'Helaas heeft dit hotel de houdbaarheidsdatum al lang overschreden. Vriendelijke ontvangst en service maar de staat van alles is zwaar onder de maat. Verouderd, muf, krakkemikkig. We bleven in een huisje achter het hotel en dat was zeker ook aan renovatie toe. Overigens was daar geen wifi. In het hotel wel. Ontbijt: zeer karig voor dat geld. Het uitzicht op het meer is super maar niet voor die prijs. Jammer. '
