Absolutely lovely place to stay! Wonderful and friendly staff, beautiful location, easy access to public transport and a lot of amenities in a walkable distance. Great breakfast and gorgeous pool. The rooms were clean and modern, with a lovely veranda with seating. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a more relaxed and affordable location on Santorini!

Do not book!
Cockroaches in the bathroom, bathroom window didn't shut, hair on the breakfast, not a nice breakfast overall, loud disruption from hotel during the night. Very disappointed... not like the photos at all and not like the positive reviews. We checked out 3 days early (only 12 hours into our stay) due to the hotel being that bad. They have refused any sort of refund.

Nice staff and easy check in. Irene also arranged an early morning minivan to take us to the airport. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. Didn't like climbing up so many stairs to get to the room.

Akrotiri is a quiet area, away from the big tourist crowds. The hotel is close to the Akrotiri ruins (about a 20 minute walk). There are several restaurants near by. A bus stop is right in front of the hotel which will take you to Fira.

Hotel was good location near shops and beaches in walking distance. Staff were friendly and help in arranging tours and even having an atv be brought to the hotel. Room was a little old fashioned, but very spacious with a large mini fridge to hold you down for your stay.

Not an easy Hotel to find at first. No hotels have street address shown. First night the room was like a match box but second day they moved us to another room which was better. Location excellent - quick walk to the promenade. Parking not on site - had to walk over a busy road to a vacant plot and that is where you parked!!

A real gem
Santorini was beautiful. Oia and Fira, the world renowned resorts lived up to their names but it was refreshing to escape the hustle and bustle and return every day to the Adamastos hotel to relax.Here was the real Greece,a family-run hotel whose main aim was to look after the guests. Our room was basic but comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was simple but more than adequate .The local buses were very good and the bus stop was outside the hotel so there was no need to hire a car. We have every intention of returning.

wonderful experience
Everything was great at this hotel. Friendly and helpful owners and staff. Arranging for various tours was very easy. The layout of the hotel is Greek with rooms that have 2 large double wood and glass doors that open to a small balcony. Comfortable beds and a bathroom with shower. There is a frigerator and air conditioning in the room. And a small flat screen tv as well. Everything is immaculate and well cared for. The pool looked gorgeous and well maintained. Breakfast was a real highlight with plenty of choices. Fresh fruit, cold cuts and cheese, fried eggs, breakfast breads/cake, and my favorite, the yoghurt. It was the best I've had and was creamy and flavorful. There is honey and some different preserves one can add to it. One plus for me was the close proximity to the ancient site of Akrotiri. There are also several beaches relatively close by .The caldera side is close as well and was an easy walk. The other plus was staying in an area which is less crowded with tourists than Fira. I did go to Fira to visit the prehistoric akrotiri museum and saw that the streets and stores were literally crowded with tourists.

Lovely personable hotel in quiet area.
Amazing stay at Adamastos thanks to Irene and Family. They helped us with whatever we needed. Hotel was lovely and quiet so for the days we didn't venture out there was no problem with getting a space by the pool. Which sees the sun all day long. My only criticism is breakfast is a little basic. Some fruit or a toaster for the bread would make a big difference. I highly recommend highering a quad bike And I highly recommend this hotel.

Santorini Disappointment
Would not stay here next trip to Santorini. Insect problem in room, spiders and ants. Room was unpleasantlying rugged. The hotel was the low point of the Santorini visit.

An oasis of an hotel
We stayed at the Adamastos in August 2016. I was concerned that it was 'out of town' and that transport would be a problem - NOT at all. The bus stops right outside and goes directly to Thira - an easy ride. The hotel itself is a wonderful, peaceful place - away from the hussle and bussle yet within easy reach of it if that's what you want. It is spotlessly clean and is run by Irini and her family who are all very friendly and helpful, always with a smile. There are restaurants nearby and a small supermarket, so everything is conveniently located. I would highly recommend staying here.

Lovely hotel with great location
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Adamastos. The hotel is in very close vicinity to the lovely caldera and red beach and we loved being in the more quiet area of akrotiri. Staff are extremely welcoming and helpful and would very much recommend the excursions available at the hotel.

Nice & quiet hotel close to beach & restaurants
The hotel is located in a nice quiet area and not far from all other touristic attractions. We rented a car and it was easy to move around. Breakfast is basic but good. the rooms are clean and pretty comfortable. overall I enjoyed staying there and the owners are really sweet and friendly. the swimming pool is a plus and it is really a relaxing place far from noise and tourists. there are many typical restaurants around and it is more like in a countryside area.

Amazing experience
Apart from the breath taking beauty of Santorini we had a great experience in our stay there in general. The hotel has a good location, the bus station is literally infront of it with regular timetable to Fira (city centre). The hotel is clean, simple but tasty breakfast, the swimming pool is a plus on hot days. The owners are very sweet people always willing to help and they contribute a lot for our stay in the island to be even more enjoyable.

Perfect location to visit the south of the island, Minoan Akrotiri, red beach. Three or four tavernas a five minute walk away. Clean, well-maintained, basic, quiet (mid July) helpful staff, extremely good value.

Budget Hotel
This is a lovely hotel if your on a budget that is situated in a small village.The rooms are basic but the bathrooms have been renovated and look fresh and modern. The beds are comfortable. It's a family run hotel and the owners are lovely, friendly and accommodating. It's pool is large and clean. Breakfast is very basic.

Dans l'ensemble l'hôtel correspond à la description : literie correcte, proche des commerces et arrêt de bus au pied de l'hotel.Malheureusement le service proposé n'est pas adéquate. Le chauffeur qui devait nous récupérer est arrivée plus d'une heure après et l'hôtel n'a pas trouver de solution et n'a pas proposé de geste commercial. Pas terrible du coup et ne laisse pas une bonne image...

Los detalles del hotel nos obligaron a no sentirnos 100 % satisfechos. No sabíamos que el agua de Santorini no era potable, por lo. Menos en el hotel era muy salobre por la ducha teléfono el agua que salía no era clara, las toallas estaban afectadas por el. Agua con la que las lavaban, el soporte de la secadora de pelo estaba roto. El personal fue respetuoso solo me llamó la atención que me hayan cobrado € 2. 70 por la impresión en B/N de 3 caras de papel(nunca antes me había ocurrido ello habiendo estado en hoteles que tenían computadora e impresora a libre disposicion). Las instalaciones estuvieron de acuerdo a lo ofrecido por hoteles. Com por lo que decidimos contratar al hotel. ADAMASTOS pero la habitación que nos dieron no se ajusto con lo que vimos y nos hizo decidir contratar al hotel Adamastos. Ojala mejoren un poco mas

Séjour fantastique, accueil très chaleureux malgré une arrivée tardive de notre côté. L'hôte a été aux petits soins, la chambre spacieuse et lumineuse avec une terrasse avec vue imprenable mer et nature. Salle de bains spacieuse et très propre. Petit déjeuner complet et varié dans une atmosphère qui nous fait sentir comme à la maison. Emplacement idéal pour visiter Santorin, Akrotiri est un superbe village que vous pourrez visiter à pieds, à 2 min de l'hôtel. Très bon rapport qualité-prix, idéal pour se détendre !

No lo recomiendo.
Inversión cero en Decoracion, renovación de mobiliario o confortabilidad. Bien podría clasificarse como hostal u hotel de dos estrellas, todo es demasiado antiguo, el grifo de la ducha estaba oxidado y la cortinilla era insoportable. La atención correcta, nos ofrecieron unos recortes de toallas para usar en la piscina, la nevera de la habitación estaba apagada y el Aacc sin encender. La seguridad de la habitación es cuestionable, por el fácil acceso a las zonas internas desde la piscina y el balcón de la habitación da a un campo abierto. Tumbonas de la piscina antiguas e incómodas, molesta el ruido de los vehículos al pasar tan cerca de la zona. Puertas de habitación de llave clásica e interruptores de las mismas obsoletos. Las almohadas justas e incómodas por el poco cuerpo. La limpieza muy favorable. Pagamos 114€ por una habitación para dos adultos y un niño.

Hotel liegt in Akrotiri. Bushaltestelle vor der Unterkunft. Anbindung mit dem Bus vom Fährhafen jedoch lediglich über die Hauptstadt Fira möglich. Lage somit ok.

Prima hotel in klein dorpje
De kamers komen in het begin wat gedateerd over. Alles is echter zeer schoon elke dag wordt de kamer schoongemaakt en lakens en handdoeken vervangen. Top. De douche is primitief met een douchegordijn dat aan je lichaam kleeft, maar verder in orde. Föhn aanwezig.De bedden zijn voor ons iets te hard en de kussens te klein. De airco werkt prima en het terras kijkt uit op de wijngaard. Super. Het zwembad is prima en er zijn volop ligstoelen. Iets te dicht bij de weg, maar de local bus stopt voor je hotel. De naam Adamastos is bekend bij alle buschauffeurs. Handig als je niet weet wanneer je uit moet stappen.Het ontbijtbuffet is goed, maar niks bijzonders. De receptie is erg behulpzaam met het regelen van quads excursie transfer. Irene staat meteen voor je klaar. Op de kamer staat een koelkast. Maar er zijn geen glazen of een kopje voor thee. Jammer dat zou anders moeten zijn. Wij hebben dit opgelost door een kopje thee op de kamer mee te nemen en s morgens warm water te halen bij het buffet. Vonden ze geen probleem. Leuke verblijf en Caldera beach met super taverne Remezzo ligt op loopafstand 600 meter dichtbij. Wel een flinke klim maar rustig strand, beter dan Red Beach waar busladingen toeristen elk uur aangevoerd worden. 14 dagen Santorini is teveel 7 dagen is prima om alles te zien en uit te rusten. Dit familie hotel raadt ondanks de kleine min punten iedereen aan.

Hotel lontano dal caos di Santorini ma ben servito
Grazioso hotel a gestione familiare. Personale gentilissimo e posizione perfetta per godersi un breve soggiorno a Santorini lontano dai chiassosi turisti che assaltano Oia e Firà in alta stagione, ma comodo e ben servito dai bus, con i quali si può raggiungere qualsiasi località sull'isola. Lo consiglio assolutamente.
