'Arena Kalyves beach' is de ideale locatie voor een mooi duplex appartement. 30 minuten van Chania Airport. Waar vindt u appartementen aan het strand en van deze standaard? - alleen hier! Of u nu wilt ontspannen en ontspannen op het strand of wilt genieten van het traditionele dagelijkse leven van het zijn in een echt Kretenzer dorp, Kalyves is iets voor u. Een selectie van goede taverna's zowel vis als traditionele lams- en varkensvleesgerechten zijn beschikbaar. De Kretenzers zijn echt heel vriendelijk en gastvrij. U bent verzekerd van een geweldig welkom. De historische Venetiaanse stad Chania ligt op slechts 20 minuten rijden of met de bus. Het is een winkelparadijs met markten, wandelpaden en een haven. Verder in het land ervaar traditionele Kretenzische dorpen. Er is zoveel te zien in dit gebied dat je terug wilt komen.

Gut ausgestattetes Haus mit Meerblick

Die Lage der Unterkunft mit Meerblick und eigenem Zugang zum Strand in einem vergleichsweise wenig touristischem Ort hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Very nice accommodation directly by the sea

The apartment has two bedrooms downstairs (one room with 2 single beds and one room with a larger bed). The rooms with the single beds have 2 balconies. Upstairs is the kitchen-living room with another sofa bed. The kitchen is perfectly equipped (except for a blender). There are two more balconies upstairs. One with a very nice sea view. The apartment is right on the street, but the windows are relatively tight. Directly opposite is a large supermarket, and a few taverns and cafes nearby. The actual village center is about 1.5 km away. From the apartment you go through a corridor directly to the sea. There are deck chairs. There are also shady spots by the sea. The area was not crowded even in high season. There are a few stones in the sea, though, so be careful or wear swimming shoes.

Beach appartment stay in Beautiful Crete

This is an appartment which is very well situated in a beautiful part of Crete. It is in the quieter end of Kalyves close enough to the sea to nip down for an early morning swim. It is opposite the supermarket and a few minutes walk from some very recommended tavernas. Beach with brollies are a few minutes away as is a bus stop taking you to Chania town. A balcony looks over the sea for morning and evening moments of loveliness. Would definitely return.

Sehr schöner Urlaub

Es war sehr schön. Viele Balkone, wenn auch etwas klein. Ausstattung hat gepasst, war alles da was man braucht.- Vielleicht vier gute Strandliegen. - Super Lage. Alles in einem, ein fast perfekter Urlaub.

Relaxwoche in Kalyves

Ideal gelegene Ferienwohnung in Kalyves,nur ein paar Stiegen zum Strand ,mehrere Tavernen in un mittelbare Nähe ,ein Supermarkt gegenüber und ca 10 Gehminuten ins Dorfzentrum 30 Minuten vom Airport und viele Mustsees von Westkreta nicht weit entfernt Die Ferien Wohnung sauber,die Schlafzimmer unten und die Wohnküche oben ! Alle Zimmer sind klimatisiert ! Oben ein Balkon mit dem schönsten Meerblick leider morgens zum Frühstück nicht geeignet da volle Sonne und kein Schirm vorhanden Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattetund auch einen SmartTv gibt es(es sind auch Sonnenbetten vorhanden die aber leider ziemlich verrostet und eingerissen waren)und für uns 3 Personen gerade richtig!(für mehr wirds ein bisschen eng) Der Strand vor der Anlage ist fast privat aber auch hier ist es ohne Sonnen Schirm fast unmöglich bis zum Nachmittag zu liegen da volle Sonne und nur wenig Schatten von wenigen Bäumen die bald belegt sind Dies ist jedoch kein Problem da einige wenige Meter weiter Betten und Schirme zu mieten sind oder wenn man etwas konsumiert diese auch gratis sind Alles in allem ein schöner Platz zum entspannen und genießen! Wir haben es ! Auch die Kommunikation über die App mit den Vermietern sehr einfach,man bekommt eine Vorinformation über die Wohnung und Umgebung und eine detaillierte Anleitung wie man vom Flughafen nach Kalyves kommt! Vielen Dank an die Vermieter !!

Location fantastic , perfect for relaxing . We did not hire a car but the bus stop for Chania nearby, though not many buses this time of year (May 2022).Thanks again for a great stay

Tolle Unterkunft mit schönem Strand direkt davor

Die Wohnung ist wunderschön, wir haben dort nichts vermisst. Durch die Terrassen auf beiden Seiten konnten wir zu fast jeder Tageszeit zwischen Sonne und Schatten wählen. Der Strand ist direkt vor der Anlage und im Oktober waren wir dort fast allein. Der Supermarkt direkt gegenüber und mehreren Restaurant im Gehentfernung sind auch sehr angenehm. Das einzige Manko: Die Wohnung liegt direkt an der Straße durch den Ort. Nachts ist es ruhigt, aber zwischen 5 und 6 Uhr kommt die Müllabfuhr und danach nimmt der Verkehr zu. Für uns kein Problem, aber wer lärmempfindlich ist, muss mit geschlossenem Fenster und Klimaanlage schlafen. Unsere Vermieter haben uns toll unterstützt mit Mietwagenvermittlung, Informationen aller Art - und wegen unseres späten Abflugs durften wir auch bis 17 Uhr am letzten Tag in der Wohnung bleiben, vielen Dank nochmals hierfür!

Das Appartment ist genau wie auf den Bildern , jeden morgen mit Meer blick frühstücken perfekt.Der Strand ist auch sehr schön , es gibt Strandspielzeug für Kinder und man ist nicht weit entfernt von den Sehenswürdigkeiten bzw. Schönsten stränden wie z.b Balos. Mit John war der Kontakt auch immer sehr gut ,er hatte uns vorher Informiert wie es auf Kreta aus sieht mit dem Virus und auch als wir Ihn Persönlich kennen lernten war er sehr freundlich.Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Lovely stay in Kalyves

The apartment is exactly as described on the website, the location is perfect with the beach just a few steps away, some lovely tavernas a couple of minutes away and then the centre of Kalyves with more tavernas and main beach about 10 minutes walk by the sea. The 2 bedrooms are both a decent size with plenty of storage space and are on the ground floor, the kitchen and living room on the first floor are really bright and airy with a nice balcony overlooking the sea. One thing on the bathrooms that would make it even better is to have a shower curtain or screen on the upstairs bathroom so there are then 2 usable showers rather than a shower and a bath. The information we received from Christine and John was excellent and email response was always really prompt. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property, we travelled as a couple with my mum and found everything to be spot on.

Enjoyable stay in comfortable appartment

Well located within walking distance of Kalives village. Great to have direct access to a lovely beach. Appartment is light and spacious and we very much enjoyed our stay in this interesting part of Crete.

We liked the location; the little town of Kalyves; we liked Crete very much ! the appartement need some maintenance; shower downstair (tap) ; shower upstair no curtain; the kitchen tap (splash everwhere) the cleanliness in general was so so. No climatisation upstair .

Schöne Ferienwohnung, tolle Lage

Wir hatten einen super Urlaub. Der Strand ist schön und ruhig. Ein Supermarkt und viele gute Tavernen sind direkt nebenan. Die Ferienwohung ist gut ausgestattet. In der Küche ist bis auf eine Microwelle alles vorhanden. Es gibt insgesamt 4 kleine Balkone mit Tischen und Stühlen jedoch ohne Sonnenschutz.

Very nice place

Some issues that the owner was responsive to (peak of summer extreme heat caused upstairs to become uninhabital for a few days, but we purchased a fan which mostly fixed the issue and the owner said she will come up with a future solution (we also left the fan there and you can use it to bring air in from the ocean side and across to the kitchen). The place was an ideal location with a very nice beach (the property is beachfront, but set back behind the fromt properties) and it has a nice view of the beach from the upper balcony. Definite authentic Greek/Crete community!

Thank you very much for a happy ten day holiday in a beautiful place. Everything was perfect, and we enjoyed the beach and the surroundings. We strongly recommend the Taverna next to the Kalyves Strand Appartments.

Apartment in a wonderful setting . Great for exploring the surrounding areas .Kalyves itself lovely

The property is a good size and has pretty much everything you need . For four adults to stay there in more comfort it would benefit from another comfortable chair in the lounge. The bedding really needs upgrading. The pillows in particular need changing some are like bags of cotton wool. The smaller bedroom has a very hard mattress . The tap controls are difficult to get the water temperature just right . Saying all that we had a great holiday . The setting is great . Great parking and very handy that the supermarket is just across the road . It’s a lovely walk into Kalyves along the sea front . We had hired a car and we were out all over the top of the island. We had a great meal In Kissamos and we loved Rethymno. We absolutely loved Stavros and visited there twice . The secluded bay lovely and just round the bay a bit a fabulous French/Greek / Arabic beach taverna run by a lovely French lady . The owners of the apartment were very helpful . So overall we had a great stay and will visit again one day .
