een rustig paradijsje in het centrum van toerisme
Kleinschalig en daarom apart hoteletje met homemade ontbijt maar ook lunch en avond eten die door "mama' wordt gemaakt = geen keus en daarom heerlijk ipv alle 'kebab met patat' eet tentjes. Onze 'suite' had eigen terrasje, stil en koel. Binnen plaats met bougainville bomen en water en daarom:OASE!!!

prettig rustig hotel in de oude stad
Wij hebben bewust gekozen om ook dit jaar weer naar het Avalon te gaan. Het is een klein opgezet hotel waar je rustig kunt verblijven maar dichtbij het winkelgebied ligt met restaurantjes binnen handbereik en de haven op loopafstand. Het hotel is in verhouding prijzig maar daardoor selecteerd het soort klanten zich waardoor je heerlijk gebruik van de accomodatie kunt maken in rust. Het personeel is vriendelijk, hulpvaardig en geinteresseerd.

rustig en sfeervol hotel ontbijt was prima vriendelijke en behulpzame medewerkers dichtbij de winkeltjes van de oude stad, dichtbij haven en oude vismarkt genoeg restaurantjes in de directe omgeving nieuwe winkelwijk op loopafstand

What a great find Avalon Boutique Hotel was. Great location and very nice. Everybody was great and super helpful and friendly. Added bonus - get them to book your cab from airport and he will get into the old city and right to hotel door - unlike all of the people lugging their suitcases over the cobblestones.

This hotel is beautiful. It’s a haven of peace and tranquility within easy reach of all that the Old Town has to offer. The staff are wonderful and always welcoming and friendly. Breakfast is a treat !

Restful, Central, Charming, Clean and Delicious
Very comfortable snd homey environment. We had a roomy suite for three nights. Staff is very caring. Breakfast made to order, beautifully, in their private courtyard. Location is great for the historical, and mostly quiter side of life. We walked 1 mile to Elie Beach, and back, for our daily swim.

Ein wunderschönes Hotel mit großzügigen Zimmern (auf 2 Etagen). Dank der dicken mittelalterlichen Mauern sehr leise. Da das Hotel in einer einzigen Seitengasse eher versteckt liegt, kein Rummel. Hafen und Sehenswürdigkeiten in max 5 Minuten erreichbar. Extrem freundliches, nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Ich würde jederzeit wieder buchen!

Το κατάλυμα είναι στο κέντρο της παλιάς πόλης σε ένα ήσυχο στενό. Η ιδιοκτήτρια ήταν πολλή καλή, εξυπηρετική και φιλική. Το πρωινο είχε αρκετά πράγματα, αλλά για την τιμή και το ύφος του καταλύματος θα περίμενες κάτι καλύτερο, ίσως βέβαια να έπαιξε ρόλο και η εποχή που το επισκεφθήκαμε (Φεβρουάριος). Το δωμάτιο μεγάλο, καθαρό με αρκετές παροχές.

Stayed three nights in Avalon, evening meal included. Lovely setting with breakfast in courtyard each morning. Room (Eros) very spacious with large shared patio from bedroom. Never quite figured out how to get much power from the jacuzzi shower but did the job anyhow. Evening meals superb. Just ask the menu options earlier in the day.

We spent unforgettable week in Avalon Boutique Suites hotel in Rhodes. There is nothing more to be said that has not already been previously said about the quality of the breakfast and the quiet and beautiful place .Hoists are very kind and attentive to their guests. This is an older but very well maintained hotel right in the old town. It is charming. Very close to shopping and many different restaurants. The staff is wonderful. I would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous hotel in a quiet street of Rhodes Town. Beautiful courtyard to sit, listen to the birds and enjoy a fabulous breakfast including sticky chocolate cake... the resident terrapin coming out to sunbathe was a highlight for my daughter. Lovely staff.

What a beautiful little gem! You won’t be disappointed with a stay here, our room was amazing with an upstairs bedroom and even a sun terrace to relax. Stylish, clean and comfortable with all restaurants and the palace in immediate distance, the staff were super friendly and breakfast was very impressive, lots of tasty fulfilling food, honestly couldn’t recommend enough!stay

Avalon is a wonderful, luxurious boutique hotel in the heart of the old town of Rhodes. The location is like time traveling back to the middle ages, without sacrificing our modern amenities. When you walk up the adjoining “Street of Knights,” with gothic arches and alleys, you appreciate the timeless design of the ancient masons, now repurposed for the modern world. The lobby has a waterfall and wonderful a stone mosaic floor. The staff is more than gracious; extremely accommodating. We arrived at the end of the season so the restaurant was closed, but they were more than willing to offer delicious food. They offer laundry service, dry cleaning, massage and room service. The room is well appointed with such added extras as a safe, welcome snacks, complementary cappuccino, mini bar, refrigerator, electric tea pot, ironing board, bathrobes, slippers, travel arrangements and secretarial services, just to name a few. The breakfast was well done and excellent. I would highly recommend this place and the next time I am in Rhodes I will definitely stay here.

Unglaubliche schöne Atmosphäre, sehr nettes Personal und super Frühstück. Der Kaffee könnte besser sein... Wir hatten die Eros Suite. Leider war der Jaccuzi - der sehr beengt ausfällt - außer Betrieb und 2 Tage ging das Internet nicht. Ansonsten wurde auf unsere Bedürfnisse teils blitzschnell eingegangen und es gab nichts zu meckern. Wir werden das Avalon auf jeden Fall gerne wieder buchen.

Avalon Boutique is outstanding
Our stay at Avalon was wonderful. We had their best suite, with our own private patio and we used it each morning before breakfast. The breakfast was huge and outstanding. The staff took excellent care of us. AND the location in the old town couldn’t be better: just a minute to the Palace of the Grand Master, and yet very quiet.

Beautiful facility with wonderful staff. Location could not have been better. Very upscale boutique hotel with delicious custom made breakfasts. Just one negative was the one mattress I had (we stayed in three different rooms) was unbelievably lumpy.

A long weekend for my wife and I to celebrate our wedding anniversary, this hotel is the perfect place for those looking for peace and quiet. Situated within the walls of the old town close to the Grand Masters Palace you are within easy walking distance of the main attractions and places of interest and the shopping area in the new town. the room was spacious and comfortable with an outside terraced area having 2 sun loungers and and table and chairs where you could relax without being overlooked, shame the weather didn't allow us to do this. The staff were very welcoming and polite and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast catered for everyone's taste with plenty on offer. I will certainly be returning to this hotel on my next visit to Rhodes.

Beautiful hotel in the old town
We had an excellent stay. The hotel is situated in the old town so very convenient for restaurants, the harbour and shops. We had a suite that covered two floors, a sitting area and a balcony so very spacious. The breakfast was a feast with bread, croissants, Greek yoghurt, honey, jam, fruit, cake, an option of eggs and a daily Greek speciality. The staff were friendly, helpful and very professional. At the end of our stay we were moving to a different hotel in the new town and they took our luggage there for us so we could have the day to ourselves, which was a very kind and thoughtful touch. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Stellar experience - right in the middle of the walled town with a delightful garden, attentive and wonderful staff, and beautifully appointed, comfortable rooms. Ask for a Greek dinner in the garden - you will get a delicious, chef-prepared, traditional Greek meal - we'd go back in a heartbeat!

Charming hotel
A beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff was welcoming and accommodating and went to great lengths to make our stay memorable. The rooms were comfortable with many nice little touches. Our only negative is that the air conditioning in the rooms wasn't very functional. Ask for a table fan.

Härligt hotell i Rhodos gamla stad.
Vi bodde fyra nätter på Avalon, i ett standardrum. Rummet är beläget ca 50 meter från receptionen, och har en egen innergård. Frukosten serveras vid bordet utifrån vad du beställt. Servicen är superbra och rummen välstädade. Enda missen vi kan se med vistelsen är att den var för kort. Vi kommer tillbaka.

Hätte 5 Sterne verdient, einfach großartig!
Das Avalon Boutique Hotel ist einfach nur großartig. Es liegt mitten in der mittelalterlichen Altstadt von Rhodos, direkt um die Ecke vom Großmeisterpalast. Wir haben alle Sehenswürdigkeiten und den Strand problemlos zu Fuß erreichen können. Die Zimmer sind passend zur einzigartigen Altstadt aber dennoch modern eingerichtet. Da wir in der Nebensaison (Februar/März) auf Rhodos waren, haben wir sogar noch ein Upgrade zu einer Suite bekommen (wir waren zunächst die einzigen Gäste). Bei insgesamt nur 6 Zimmern ist das Hotel sehr privat und man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Das Frühstück hätte nicht besser sein können. Jeden Tag gab es andere Leckereien im Überfluss, die direkt an den Tisch gebracht wurden. Auf Allergien und persönlichen Geschmack wird auch Rücksicht genommen. Die Hunde und Katzen des Hotels und der Nachbarn lieben es den Gästen Gesellschaft zu leisten und haben es uns noch schwerer gemacht wieder zu fahren. Unserer Meinung nach hätte das Hotel 5 Sterne verdient!

Excellent quiet relaxing hotel
Relaxing in the lovely courtyard attended to by the staff was just what we needed. highly recommended if you don't fancy the swimming pool mayhem and the sunbed rush. Planning on going again soon.
