The Coriva Beach hotel is a delight. Everywhere you look, the property is beautifully maintained, everything is just aesthetically pleasing, the staff is warm and friendly. The hotel is not opulently luxurious or overdone. It's a family owned place: three brothers took over the management of the place from their Dad. So, it doesn't have that Hiltony-Marriot-like corporate feel to it. Instead, Covina is homey, relaxing and comfortable. Breakfast options here are varied and delicious, with tables that look over the sea, or tables that are in a cozy dining room. Every room has an outside seating area with table and chairs; lounge chairs surround the pool. There's a restaurant on site -- right on the beach, and a taverna right next door -- so there's no need to head the 5 ½ miles into town, or to find other taverna's close by. Several limited mini-marts are walking distance from the hotel. WiFi was strong. Rooms were spotless and the bathroom rainshower was relaxing. Overall, Covina was simply delightful -- and it did not cost a fortune to stay there. If you are headed to the Ierapetra vicinity AND YOU HAVE A CAR, you'll be completely pleased by this lovely, relaxing, laid back and, frankly, beautiful mid-sized hotel.

Wonderful beach, unless there is strong wind. Small pool, without bar. Beautiful restaurant by the sea, but we prefered the tavern nearby, outside the hotel. Not many things to do or see around, it takes about 25 minutes to go to Ierapetra by car. Very polite, friendly and helpful hotel stuf. Recomended mostly for relaxing family vacation.

The hotel was amazing and I'd go back there anytime BUT DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL OVER EXPEDIA! I had made my booking on February 15 for an arrival date of June 2nd. On May 30th, two days before my flight to Greece, I received a voicemail that the booking was cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. No email was sent, and my online profile still showed the booking as confirmed with the note "The property has been contacted and the booking was confirmed". I called the hotel, to find out that they DO NOT HAVE A CONTRACT WITH EXPEDIA. I was on the phone with Expedia for two hours (paying international rates) to sort this out. They tried to move me to a different hotel, but nothing was even comparable in the same area. In the end, I insisted they book Coriva Beach directly. Expedia ended up paying twice the rate I initially booked for and we had to move rooms during our stay due to the last minute booking. Despite all these grievances, this hotel still showed up with two available rooms bookable over Expedia. Coriva's Manager, Alexis, went out of his way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Without him, our vacation wouldn't have been possible. He mentioned this was not the first time Expedia customers got stranded at Coriva without the hotel knowing of any reservation. To summarize: Coriva Beach is an amazing, relaxing, off-the-beaten-path place to spend your holiday. Just book directly and do not rely on Expedia's confirmation.

Nettes Hotel am Kiesstrand mit eigenem Pool,auf der Sonnenseite Kretas .Ruhig gelegen Ideal zum erhohlen und entspannen.Zimmer wurden immer super gereinigt Das Personal war. egal ob am Strand oder im Essbereich immer Freundlich und half bei Fragen . Kleine traumhafte Anlage direkt am Meer
Geräumiger Bungalow mit Terrasse, auch im Bad ausreichend Platz; große Regen-Dusche; Liegen und Sonnenschirme am Strand kostenlos, der Poolbereich sieht ziemlich neu aus und sieht traumhaft aus; sehr zu empfehlen, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut top; das A la carte-Restaurant am Strand bietet auch etwas ausgefallenere Gerichte an, die sehr lecker schmecken; das Frühstücksbuffet bietet eine große Auswahl! Das einzige, was es zu bemängeln gibt, ist das unstabile WLAN, das bei uns im Bungalow nur zeitweise funktionierte; man musste sich ständig neu einloggen und auch dann konnten nur sporadisch Daten gesendet und empfangen werden.

Très bon séjour!
Hotel familial très agréable. Piscine délicieusement chaude, ambiance simple et repos garanti. Le seul petit bémol est le restaurant: deco passée et nourriture moyenne. Mais la taverne de Dimitri Psaropoulos sur la plage à parfaitement rattrapé cette petite déception. Personnel adorable et prévenant.

Hotel tres sympathique
L hotel est tres propre avec un accueil tres chaleureux et grand sourire,on nous aide a porter les bagages toujours un petit mot,une petite attention. Dommage que le restaurant sur la plage ne soit pas compris dans la demi pension,car le restaurant de l hotel est assez sombre mais une petite terrasse vue mer a l etage vient egayer celui ci .Piscine tres sympa peu de monde .Plage avec gravier pas tres agreable.Merci de votre accueil si chaleureux.

Buon Hotel, spiaggia spettacolare
L'hotel è molto gradevole, un po' antiquato negli spazi comuni ma gestito dai proprietari in modo eccellente. Sono alcuni anni che lo frequento e ho apprezzato molto la ristrutturazione della zona piscina attorno alla quale sono stati costruite nuovissime camere. La mia semplice camera vista montagna aveva il bagno da poco totalmente rifatto. Ottimo il tratto di mare dove sorge l'hotel frequentato quasi solamente da greci della vicina cittadina di Ierapetra. Eccellente la taverna Pelagos della stessa proprietà dell'albergo.

Wir waren für 1 Woche im Coriva Beach Hotel. Unser Bungalow lag direkt am Pool. Die Anlage ist wunderschön, das Frühstück reichhaltig. Kurz hinter dem Pool gelangt man direkt an den Strand - man hat also die Wahl. Wir hatten nur Frühstück gewählt, da wir gern die Umgebung erkunden. Allerdings gibt es in direkter Umgebung des Hotels nicht viele Tavernen, aber nach einem kleinen Spaziergang findet man schon das eine oder andere. Besonders zu empfehlen: Taverne RODOS!!! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Anlage sehr empfehlen

Tolles Hotel, direkt am Kiesstrand. Sauber und top gepflegt. Aber ein Auto mieten um den Osten zu erkunden ist ein Muss! Nebenan bei Jiannes Autovermietung gibt es faire Preise, man zahlt immer was man vereinbart hat! Wasserfälle, Schluchten und die tollsten Strände sind super zu erreichen

Die Anlage entspricht im positiven Sinne den Bildern, d.h. es wird auf den Bildern nichts beschönigt. Wir haben uns bei der Wahl dieser Unterkunft von den überwiegend positiven Bewertungen vorheriger Gäste leiten lassen und sind damit gut gefahren. Es ist eine wunderschöne grüne Anlage, sehr ruhig und sehr gutes, abwechslungsreiches Essen. Die Angestellten sind stets freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Inizio preoccupante, perche' all'arrivo la receptionist ci ha accompagnato in stanza, ma solamente entrati si e' accorta che non era ancora stata fatta la pulizia: in maniera molto solerte ha attivato la pulizia della camera e ci ha invitati nell'attesa ad andare nel bar della spiaggia per un drink gratuito. Stanza non grande, ma confortevole. Piccola Piscina adiacente alla spiaggia. Spiaggia in sassi con un mare molto bello, e taverna annessa: la spiaggia e' frequentata molto anche dalle persone locali, e la domenica soprattutto e' un po' affollata. nella taverna si mangia bene, anche se siamo stati solamente una sera perche' abbiamo preferito andare in altre taverne della zona per provarne altre. La struttura e' frequentata da turisti per la prevalenza tedeschi: indispensabile parlare l'inglese. Unico inconveniente riscontrato: Nell'ultima notte dal bagno proveniva un odore insopportabile di fognatura. Abbiamo segnalato alla reception la questione, ma non sappiamo se sia stato risolto, se sia un caso o si ripeta frequentemente.

Schöne familienfreundliche Hotelanlage
wunderschöne Hotelanlage und super leckeres Essen, auch für Vegetarier gut geeignet. Die Familie ist sehr nett und hat selbst Kinder, es ist also sehr Kinderfreundlich. Die Umgebung ist etwas karg und es gibt einige unschöne Bauruinen, für Ausflüge muss man auch einige Zeit in Anspruch nehmen; der Kieselsteinstrand ist sauber, wenig bebaut und die Liegen sind umsonst, aber auch nötig, da der Strand sehr heiss werden kann. Für Kleinkinder empfehle ich Laufsocken, da die Steine in fast alle Schuhe reinkommen.
