Firstly, the staff was amazing! The front desk attendant was very helpful every night and helped me get my bag from the airport and even offered drive me in her personal car. The bartender was also very nice. He always smiled and said hi. I didn't like the lack of cleanliness. The shower was too small to even bend down in and the handle broke when I used it. The shower head was rusted and the water wouldn't go to warm even after I changed the extra handles on the wall. The breakfast was okay but there were a few flies near it which wasn't appetizing. The staff was what made the stay special. They were very kind, helpful with activity advice, and great to talk to.

Dear Almohannad, we do not really believe that it is a fair review, since we do not deserve 1/5 because of the tea and coffee facilities which are not provided to the standard room, that you have booked. Though, you should have asked it at the Bar. More than that, you haven't used our extra facilities from our Htl, such as spa treatment, rent car, chartering a Yacht, cruises etc Do not hesitate to contact us directly, in case you need more clarification.

What we are saying, is that you need to inform the Chef for any extra supplement, that you may have been needed. Also, we have daily housekeeping and we provide fresh towels, 24 hours. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, die nähe zum Strand ist super.Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen ,die Betten sind sehr ungemütlich und die Badezimmer sollten renoviert werden es fehlt ein Duschvorhang oder eine Duschabtrennung .Ständig war alles nass und wir haben mit den Handtüchern alles Nachwischen müssen.Bei der Ankunft im Hotel mussten wir zwei stunden warten bis wir unser Zimmer bekamen da es noch sauber gemacht werden musste obwohl kaum Gäste da waren .Leider war unser Zimmer als wir es dann bekamen immer noch nicht richtig sauber und wir haben es nochmal nachbessern lassen .Meiner Meinung sollte dieses Hotel nicht mehr als drei Sterne Standart bekommen.Aber nochmal das Personal war sehr freundlich :)

This hotel has nothing luxurious. I was put in a room that was not the one I picked, but in any case, the room did not show any luxury. Every thing was not functional, not electrical outlet in the bathroom, shower not working properly, poor lighting, you could hardly see anything in the bathroom. The paper holder by the toilet was broken. The curtains in the bedroom are poorly put, a child could have done a better job putting curtain rings, really bad. I did not notice any designer work as it is advertise. Cheap material was used to “decorate”. The room was the price of a nice Hilton hotel and it had the standard of a motel room, seriously. Breakfast is not quality, coffe is instant coffee. I would not recommend.

Dear guest, You do not give us the opportunity to reply to these comments by telling us that you are an anonymous guest. We mean that if you should have come to the Front Desk all of the issues should have been resolved. The rooms are being advertising with the last updated photos. The rooms have been recently designed through a very famous Interior designer. We believe that the 1st night you had used a Prestige category, as you forced the night auditor to give you the key at 04.00 early in the morning. The next day you have been moved to the standard category that you have booked, for 4 nights. So it is not fair for the other clients who have paid the Prestige category, to move a guest that has paid the standard category. Concerning the funtionality of the room, the previous guest had checked out few hours before you came and didnt mentioned anything of these issues, of broken paper holders etc. August is a high season of all the Hotels in the world and as a 4* star Hotel we make last minute special offers, which you had booked for you. We remain always at your disposal.

There were lots of spiders and bugs in the room. The water stopped in the middles of my showering. The Owner didn’t care and was not professional. The owner’s wife warned us to keep the balcony door closed as someone may step into your balcony. So that was scary. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone

Dear Anonymous, Thank you for your time writing a review. Your reservation was non refundable. Also note that we didnt charged you for all the damaged towels you had left behind. The shower as the groom told you in your mother language, was working perfectly, as you didnt understand how to use it in Europe. Yesterday night you had seen a young drunk boy and you were afraid by telling the owner's wife if the hotel is safe. She replied to you that the Front desk is 24/7 and there was security in the Hotel, during the night. Mykonos is a famous top touristic place so everybody has to be careful. The balcony of your room has a jug with flowers so maybe there was a bug during the night, though we have a daily hoosekeeping. Enjoy your rest of your Holidays in the next island!

The staff were so incredibly nice, and tried to do everything to make it right, but wow. My first room for $250+ euro a night was worse than a youth hostel--dark and so dirty, blood stains all over the sheets, hair that wasn't mine all over the floor, I was HORRIFIED. When I showed then photos of what was going on, they offered to move me into one of the renovated rooms, which was much nicer and actually looked like the photos of the hotel online [and was also apparently $450 euro a night]. Even still, this hotel was a MAX 2-2.5 star hotel. I have absolutely NO idea how its getting away with saying its 4-stars. Also note--there is no beach access, and no restaurant [just complimentary breakfast]. The area of Ornos is nice, but kind of in-between everywhere you want to be--I would have rather stayed in Mykonos Town or Psarou Beach.

La ubicación era muy buena, tiene una playa a pocos metros y restaurantes, como también un supermercado prácticamente al lado! Pero la limpieza debe mejorar, sobre todo del baño, todo estaba oxidado y colocar una ducha en el baño.

Dionysos Hotel.
This is a good place to stay if you want to be a 2 minute walk to Ornos beach and a 5 minute walk to Korfos beach (where they kiteboard). The staff were very helpful, including Ian and Thanos. The one thing I wish my room had, was a stand up shower (you had to bend over and use the hand held shower head). Besides that everything was as I expected from the Hotel.com website.

The only "luxury" might be the entry and the main pool. Rooms are tired and we had one overlooking the pool too! Bathroom is awful. Shower so small you couldn't use. No coffee or tea makings in room. And for the price breakfast wasn't even included. The busy dusty street outside was awful and apparently they classify that as their private road to beach...ha ha. Ornos beach might be nice but the area around it is one bus in and one bus out....as long as you don't get run over.

Less than a minute walking distance to Ornos beach and the many restaurants! They have a transfer car onsite that can take you to town or the airport for 15 euro per trip (if driver available). If not, they will gladly call you a taxi (but the island itself has only a few taxis so be prepared to wait a bit especially if you go during busy season). The free breakfast in the AM is simple yet filling and just what you need if you want a light breakfast.

NY'er in Mykonos...
Fantastic experience... Ornos beach is my favorite bay area in Mykonos. This is the 3rd time I've stayed at Dionysos and they've made renovations each time I've come back that make it nicer. But most important is the service. The owner and staff are so sweet and really want you to have a great stay!

The stay here was amazing! Angela and Angela both host made us feel so comfortable, and continued to check in with us during our stay. The rooms were perfect and very clean breakfast was delicious with various options to choose. Thomas was a great help to our group and took time to converse with us! This stay was amazing and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Mykonos town area it’s near to some great dinning options.
