Hotel met een goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding
Het hotel is beslist één van de betere in de buurt, maar niet echt een vijfsterrenhotel. Daarvoor is het ontbijt en het buffet net iets te beperkt en ééntonig. Het zijn vooral in de details dat het sterrenniveau het wat laat afweten.

Op zich is het een keurig hotel, de kamers zijn netjes en schoon, mooi zwembad. Daarentegen zijn algemene ruimtes zoals toiletten, de lobby, de stoelen en het eetgedeelte smoezelig. Het eten was slecht, niet elke dag ommeletten bakken, Fruit uit blik, de middag snack was veel te weinig voor zoveel mensen. wat ons betreft geen 5 sterren all inclusive!

Excellent hotel
Our stay at Electra Palace was excellent, 5/5! I can truly recommend this beautiful hotel and might come again one day. We spent one week there and were first time in Rodos and we enjoyed every moment. Service was overall very friendly and prompt, and the staff was helpful. Special thanks to the bartenders at the pool bar for their professional and relaxed service! The cleaning of the room was also really good, nothing to complain. The pool area was really beautiful and it is a huge plus that the hotel has also private beach. There were enough sunbeds in both pool and beach area. One minor development suggestion would be to take better account of food allergies. For example my mum has celiac disease and it would have been easier for her if the food suitable for her would have been clearly marked in the restaurants. Anyway this wasn't a big deal as every time when she asked from chefs which food would be safe for her, the service was excellent and there were also plenty of options for her to eat. The chef even made special desserts just for her couple of times, which was really nice.

Thoroughly enjoyed a week's visit in October. Hotel is beautiful throughout, very modern design and meticulously clean. The staff are fantastic and friendly. The pool area is one of the best I've ever visited. Huge, spectacular pool area with a brilliant pool bar in the middle. Highly recommended.

Einst von weg: ein 5-Sterne-Hotel ist es definitiv nicht. Es gibt andere Destinationen (zum Beispiel Süd-Türkei), wo bereits in 4-Sterne Hotels einiges mehr bietet. Positiv ist das freundliche Personal an den Bars und Reception. Hingegen im Speisesaal könnte man die Freundlichkeit noch ein bisschen verbessern. Sehr schöne Pool Landschaft, sehr grosszügig, aber das Wasser war eiskalt. Hotel befindet sich grad am Meer, allerdings Steinstrand (gemäss Unterlagen war es nicht klar beschrieben). Am Abend war sehr wenig los, vermutlich lag es am Ende der Saison. Unser Zimmer war relativ klein, auch das Badezimmer war nicht grosszügig und die tägliche Reinigung liess zu wünschen übrig (Gläser/Tassen, Löffel wurden nicht ausgewechselt). Grundsätzlich wurde nicht sauber gereinigt. Wir waren zu Dritt. Was ich von einem 5-Sterne-Hotel erwarte, ist ein richtiges Einzelbett für die 3. Person (16 Jahre) und nicht nur ein unbequemes Bettsofa. Speisen/Buffet: es gab es nicht sehr viel Auswahl (in Vergleich zu anderen Hotels), auch die Qualität war eher mittelmässig. Die bereits fix fertig zubereiteten Salate beim Mittagessen waren jedoch sehr lecker (gute Idee!). Das Essen in den Themen-Restaurants hingegen war sehr fein und auch der Service gut. Was positiv zu erwähnen ist, war die Möglichkeit, dass uns gegeben wurde, beim Auschecken noch ein Zimmer zu buchen (kostenlos), um uns noch vor der Rückreise (abends) frisch zu machen.

Super pænt hotel beliggende på stranden. Personalet er venligt, faciliteterne super gode og placeringen lige så. Dejlig mad og drikke - særligt kage udvalget er godt. Plads til forbedring: poolen må gerne varmes en smule. Det er lidt for kold en pool, hvor selv havet i oktober er en del varmere. Bedre kaffe og mere varieret buffet vil også være godt. Endelig kan jeg ikke anbefale airport-transfer, som er alt for overpriset. Hotellet opkrævede 32 euro per vej, og jeg kunne på taxa-meteret se, at det kun blev 13 euro per vej.

We loved our stay and are thinking of making it an annual trip. Loved the way drinks are served in hard plastic glasses around the pool. Buffet food was always interesting and tasteful. The Greek restaurant was a special experience. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Only downside is the noise from the aircraft landing, but we got used to it.

Wir waren als Paar für 5 Nächte Vorort und es war nahezu perfekt- 1-2 Nächte mehr wären schön gewesen. Besonders aufgefallen ist uns das zuvorkommende und besonders kolante Personal. Denn wir bekamen ein Room Upgrade, da keine Pool View im vorherigen gegeben war. Das Frühstück/Mittag war sehr ähnlich aber super lecker, das Abendessen variierte ein wenig. Die Eisdiele, das Snack Bistro und Weinbar waren ein Highlight. Auch das Italian, aber vor allem das Greek Restaurant waren eine besondere Erfahrung mit 5 Gängen und Weinverkostung. Die Pool Anlage ist sehr modern und stilvoll errichtet- die Barkeeper haben den ganzen Tag einen super Job gemacht und limitlos die leckersten Cocktails gezaubert. Die live Musik von 21-23 Uhr war auch sehr angenehm. Strandhandtücher konnte man mit Karten beliebig wechseln. Der hoteleigene Strandzugang mit Daybeds und Liegen war klein gehalten aber völlig ausreichend. Das Hotel verfügt ebenfalls über einen eigenen Shop und einen Spa Bereich. Da das Hotel in der Einflugschneise ist, fliegen regelmäßig sehr tief die Flugzeuge über das Hotel- der „Lärm“ hat uns persönlich aber überhaupt nicht gestört. Das Gym des Hotels ist hingegen leider nicht so gut und sehr spärlich ausgestattet, das wäre ausbaufähig. Die Sauberkeit des Hotelzimmers hätte in unserem 2x Zimmer etwas besser sein können. Leider gab es in den Zimmern keine Handtuchhaken, was ebenfalls zu wünschen wäre. Dennoch würden wir wiederkommen und es jedem Paar weiterempfehlen!

The reception are helpful, the cleaners lovely, the pool’s amazing, the bars, the buffet restaurant and the coffee shop are great, the shuttle bus to town is a bonus and so convenient! The Greek and Italian restaurants aren’t the best, I would skip them to be honest, the Greek was not Greek I got candy floss for a starter? And a Drink with a candy cane? you only choose your mains and the rest is decided already. The Italian dinner was awful, the wait very long, not a lot of choice. The lunch was a bit better but I wouldn’t go there again. The location is a bit out of the way but again the shuttle can be booked so easy to get to town apart from that it’s only 15/20 minutes drive from the airport, the beach is beautiful, beds on the beach are always available! Entertainment is mixed, go to the rock and roll on the Wednesday, it’s the best one. They love doing it and it clearly shows. All in all an amazing trip!

Et hotel med meget at byde på!
Vi havde et fantastisk ophold hotellet. Vi manglede intet - personalet var søde og hjælpsomme, omgivelsernes flotte og eksklusive, maden var god og varieret. Vores datter elskede isbaren og bageren, som man kunne tilgå det meste af dagen. Vi havde læst, at det var svært at få bord på de to øvrige restauranter der er på hotellet, som man må benytte sig af under sit ophold, men dette var ikke tilfældet for os - det gik nemt og uden problemer. Alt i alt en fantastisk ferie, som vi allerede drømmer om at genopleve igen :-)

The hotel itself was really in good condition. The staff was friendly and the food was good. Overall experience with small kids was relaxing and felt safe and taken care of all the time. The gym is really small, which could be a good investment for the hotel, but other than that, everything was really nice. I didn't mind the airplanes flying over, it was exciting for the kids. Maybe pool water (the sides) could be washed/changed more often.

Väldigt nöjd overall dock sådär glutenfri kost
Servicen var fantastisk, särskilt från alla i restaurangerna och barerna, vi hade fått det städat med nya handdukar på rummen varje dag vilket var väldigt uppskattat. Ett förbättringsområde finns däremot för information om den glutenfria kosten på buffén, även om vi högst uppskattade hjälpen från kocken när vi frågade om vad som var glutenfritt för dagen så var utbytet väldigt begränsat och det fanns ingenting glutenfritt i bakverk en enda morgon på buffén. Vi efterfrågade detta särskilt och fick en dag hjälp från bageriet som gjorde en chokladkaka vilket vi uppskattade mycket. För allergiker uppskattas det med symboler på skyltarna för dagens mat med vad som innehålls. Det var även svårt att komma i kontakt direkt med hotellet på förhand, försökte i flera månader komma fram till receptionen men lyckades inte förrän jag bad hotels.com ringa er direkt. Annars toppklass på hotellet med mycket aktiviteter och bra livemusik, goda drinkar och härlig stämning!

Hotel was lovely, staff friendly, location was good, although beach was pebbles. Food was varied and good. Only real disappointment was the entertainment, which was lacking. Would be good idea to have an information pack in the rooms.

Beach was gorgeous. Hotel was ok. Dining options were very limited and food taste wasn’t that good. Reception and housekeeping staff was very friendly and helpful but other staff (dining, bartenders, etc) wasn’t passionate about their jobs. We asked for bottled water and one of the bartenders. Overall we liked our experience but service and food wasn’t even comparable with resorts in Mexico, Turkey, and Caribbean islands.

Read lots of reviews about this hotel so was worried it may not be as good as it seemed, but it was very good, agree with all reviews stating it’s a 4 star hotel not 5, it lacks that extra bit of luxury, but is excellent value, bufffet food was really enjoyable as well as all the bars, rooms were basic but we’re fine for what we needed, if you don’t like a firm mattress these are firm, I’m not a big fan of firm mattresses but surprisingly slept well on them. We were there last week of the season so everything was winding down, the beach bar closed which was dissapointing, surely there’s months to clean and tidy everything away for the season, but seemed to be done whilst customers are still around. Entertainments was ok but again, not much atmosphere due to end of season, and some of the staff where winding down as well I think as some weren’t too polite, but I can’t complain, all in all thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and its amenities, small football pitch to have a kick around with the kids, played tennis everyday and is all included in the price. The pool is freshwater, so if it’s a big deal to have lots of play with the kids on holiday, then be warned it’s absolutely freezing, we made an effort to go in the pool everyday, but was a real effort, and took a while to warm the kids up afterwards.if you enjoy beaches then the beach is ok for sunbathing, for playing on the sea again, not great as the rocks are really painful on the feet, having said that it stop the kids.

Enjoyed my stay, but could have been better!
Well located beside the beach. Good food options. The only minuses I have discovered is a lack of signs by the buffet so it is very unclear what contains what protein and the mattresses are very hard. But plenty of pillows and throws to compensate a little. The buildings and rooms don’t really feel like 5 star facilities in my opinion. It was lacking that luxury feel.

This is a beautiful hotel and spotlessly clean. Food in the 2 a la carte restaurants is of a high standard but can only be booked once per week. The canteen is disappointing and badly laid out so everyone has to join the same queue for the cooked meat and mains. Rooms are nice and I had a lovely view of the pool but bed was rock hard. Main bug bear for me is there is no table service at any of the bars so you have to queue for your drinks. I don’t particularly enjoy queuing especially whilst on holiday. (Elvis does try his best though). My friend usually drinks vodka and cranberry juice but was not allowed cranberry juice as apparently it is only for cocktails. Bizarre!!

Beautiful hotel with very good service, friendly and efficient staff, despite being packed with people (3rd week of August). So dinner in the main restaurant could be quite loud, fortunately they have two much quieter restaurants, too. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean and sound-proof, beds are comfortable. The hotel itself feels somewhat rural, but "life" - shops and restaurants - is just 5-10 minute walk away. As there's also a private sunbed area, you won't be bothered by people selling you all kinds of stuff. Overall we were very satisfied with the experience and would go back on first chance.

Personnel très agréable. Emplacement idéal pour des vacances en famille. Petit village à 5min à pied. Ville de Rhodes à 10minutes en voiture. Excursions à faire île de Simy, Lindos, et la vieille ville de Rhodes à visiter absolument. Qualité des restaurants au top rien à redire.

Incompréhension
Lorsque nous nous sommes présentés mon mari et moi à la salle du restaurant, mon mari portait un long bermuda de couleur foncée arrivant à mi-mollets et en aucun cas indécent. Il a été purement et simplement empêché d’entrer ainsi vêtu pour dîner, l’hôtesse l’enjoignant à aller se changer pour mettre un pantalon !... ce qu’il a finalement fait. Lorsque nous sommes revenus dans la salle, force nous a été de constater que de nombreuses personnes du sexe féminin étaient vêtues soit très légèrement, soit de façon indécente qui ne laissait ignorer leur anatomie, sans parler de jupe ou robe ultra courte largement au ras du postérieur. Pourquoi une telle discrimination homme / femme, humiliante pour l’homme ?
