Best hotel so many options for breakfast and staff was so welcoming from the moment I arrived Ed with bags to daily breakfest selections. This hotel was a block or 2 away from all popular restaurants and lunch stores supermarkets and gas stations. This hotel is on top of the mountain which is heavenly and right in between other islands and water line.

Our receptionist Alex was the best. At first talking with him he was already very informative, helpful, and friendly. Our room had the best view of the whole Island and the best quiet sunsets. It was the best waking up in the morning to see Skaros rock right in front of us. Overall it was the best experience. No complaints, unless you despise stairs, then your in the wrong place..lol.

Great location and views. Right on the hiking trail to Oia. Lots of steps to climb and no direct road access to the hotel but staff is very responsive once you call them.

Views are amazing! Breakfast is good quality, plentiful and with lots of options. I would recommend adding gluten free bread to the options for those with allergies. The staff are friendly, helpful and very hard working. Special mention to Alex and Irini for their tips and recommendations on where to eat and places to visit. We had a lovely time!

Favourite stay of our trip!
I cannot think of a better place to wake up and enjoy the Santorini view. My mom and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Sunny Villa. The breakfast was by far the best we had our whole trip through Italy and Greece, and the service was incredible. We enjoyed Imerovigli as a whole, and our charming room was the cherry on top! We enjoyed renting a car to tour the island and just used one of the public parking lots within short walking distance of the hotel. Lots of stairs down to the hotel but the staff is courteous with handling our luggage. Good cardio haha.

This was a great hotel for us: the views were fantastic; breakfast (brought to our room) was delicious and everything was cleaned daily, with fresh towels etc. The staff were friendly, extremely helpful and provided excellent support - including when we first arrived late at night (because of flight delay) & then when a friend staying nearby fell and had an injury (not on their property) they rushed to help with first aid and arrangements for immediate taxi to hospital. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend Sunny Villas.

Great hotel
We had a fantastic stay here, the staff were wonderful from start to finish. As soon as we arrived, a porter carried all of our heavy luggage down the many stairs for us. The staff at the reception desk checked us in and drew us a detailed map with bus stops, restaurants, and walking paths highlighted, it was so helpful. The location is great for catching the bus to Oia or Fira. The walking path to Fira is in front of reception, it is about a 30 min walk. We stayed in the honeymoon suite which was clean and comfortable. The hot tub was great and the view of the caldera was amazing. They also provide breakfast to your room every morning and it was delicious. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.

This is a FANTASTIC place! When we checked in (early I add), we were warmly greeted by the hotel manager (lady) and provided much helpful and useful information! She was fantastic throughout our entire stay! Be sure to book a room with a balcony/patio or private pool to enjoy the view from your room. Breakfast is custom made and delivered each day on your timeline! Look no further this IS the place to stay in Santorini without completely breaking your budget.

Staff was absolutely amazing!! At arrival- they will meet you at the top and bring your luggage down and when you leave they bring it up. Breakfast was okay, it could’ve been better but for being included it was good. Walking distance to Fira and hiking distance to Oia!

LOVED this villa! We got the beautiful view of the Caldera and our own hot tub. It was beautiful, clean, and felt very safe. The staff was very kind and accommodating and carried our luggage to our room, and then to our taxi when we left. We got daily free breakfast delivered to our room, and a daily clean from the housekeepers! So amazing. Highly recommend

I stayed at Sunny Villas for my honeymoon and it was the best— i wish I was there now. The views are fantastic from the honeymoon suite and the private mini pool is a plus. I highly recommend upgrading— you will not regret it, it’s off the walking path so you have a bit more privacy!

Where to begin? The Sunny Villas is perched in the best location, in the cliff side, with amazing views of the blue caldera and overlooking the Venetian fortress of Skaros. Our room was unique in style, clean and very comfortable. We did not have our own plunge pool but the shared pool area and bar were fabulous and we spent each afternoon relaxing there, once more enjoying the views. The breakfast was wonderful and delivered to our door each morning so that we could enjoy it out on the balcony. The staff were all fantastic and couldn’t.t do enough for us. They were friendly and very helpful, The location was great for us as Fira was a comfortable walk away. I would recommend anyone to stay at Sunny Villas, as long as you are able to tackle the many steps that you need to climb (although that is the same for most of Santorini).

The view of the Caldera is absolutely stunning. The room was lovely, staff was friendly and super helpful, but the views alone make this a perfect place to stay in Santorini without the Oia crowds.

The room was very small as was the bathroom, but clean. There is no place to hang or put wet bath towels. There was no outer terrace. Some of our small towels felt like sandpaper. One little bottle of shampoo and conditioner for two people. Very little coffee in the continental breakfast that was limited to one cup each. A little packet of butter each morning counted as “one item” and fare was basic. It was served in the room each morning and eggs were cold. One bottle of water was provided for the duration of our three day stay. Apart from the outstanding view from a small but not private balcony (Rm 105 I gather was their smallest and furthest away from the pool that was 60 steps down), the room we were given was not 3-star and did in no way feel like my VIP gold status was acknowledged. The management said that three drinks we had by the pool were discounted from $15 each to $10. The congenial pool bartender Thanasis was the best part of this accommodation. Apart from the view, there is not much going on in Imerovigli. You need a car for Oia. Thira is a half hour walk uphill and downhill in the hot sun. And be prepared for a lot of large steps to your room with no handrails.
