Good hotel with kind and helpful staff
Good hotel near the airport. Staff is very kind and helpful. Rooms are cleaned every day. I had a room at the third floor with great sea view. As it is close to the airport landing airplanes can be spotted from close by. As there are not that many planes it's was not disturbing. Breakfast was simple but okay. Dinner was good. The hotel could do with a bit of an update as it gives a feeling to go back in the 1970s.

Lovely location, close to airport , food excellent, staff very helpful and late checkout available There are planes flying close overhead- they dont come over early or late /about 5 per day Yes the hotel wants updating - however, it is authentic and any issues are swiftly rectified - we didnt have any issues. A mosquito detereant is available to use in each room. Phone Garden or sea views The pool is warm, there is no diving or jumping as no lifeguards present. There is a children's pool - children under 12 need to be supervised. If you are looking for a relaxing, nice time and as the day goes buy, with poolside bar and food this is the place for you. There is aircon in the rooms, phones and roomservice is daily. There is also a TV and fridge - no kettle provided (we didn't need one) Greek law states you must pay a local room tax oer night 1.3 euros The bus service timetable is in reception- the times are when it leaves its starting point, not when it gets to you. If you look out towards the sea, if you see the bus come round the road near there - you habe 5 minutes to walk to the bus stop out of the driveway turn right and its on the left to go to Argostoĺion or airport. Argostoĺion: 2 euros each Airport 1 euro each Armmes beach 700 yards - 15 minute walk (as receptionist for directions/ take note of where you are walking as buses and cars do go there too and all roads look similar) At beach when having a shower wear non slip shoes! Bar, food very good

Charming old hotel
Great value for money yes it is old but its very clean and the staff are lovely... the food in the restaurant in the eveinkng is traditional greek and to die for very very well cooked. Would a 100percent return. Recommend for a cheap budget break

Kein Wlan im Zimmer oder auch generell obwohl das in der Buchung mit dabei war. Badezimmer war nicht sauber, Waschbecken voll mit Rost. Auf den Bettlaken waren verschiedene Flecken. Das Personal an der Rezeption war nicht so freundlich. Die Pool Anlage war eine Katastrophe. Liegen lagen komplett/ halb kaputt irgendwo rum, keine Ordnung nichts. Nur das Personal beim Frühstück war sehr lieb und die Reinigungskräfte. Würde dieses Hotel nicht mehr empfehlen.

Un hotel datato, buona posizione rispetto a molte spiagge e località. Colazione buona e servita in veranda con vista mare. Ha un grande parcheggio, molte piante, un bello spazio all'aperto. Pay the extra money and stay away
The hotel room was clean. The cleaning ladies were lovely. However, the hotel itself? I walked up the stairs for two weeks with an exoskeleton of a bug just sitting there. I passed it everyday for almost two weeks. It never moved. The breakfast was extremely basic, nothing was fresh besides the tomatoes and cucumber. The boiled eggs were over boiled to the point there were large black spots in them. The juice was bad too. The beds were the worst part, they probably haven’t been changed since the 70s when this place opened. My neighbors alarm clock woke me up, if it hadn’t been that it would be the constant slamming of doors. The bus routes they have printed are outdated. The new one at the Argostoli bus stop has different times. The front desk people were very unfriendly for the most part and not very helpful. Wifi? Forget about it, you won’t have connection through this hotel. Which really sucks because you can’t even get 4G or 3G. I have three good things about this hotel. The two beaches either side of the hotel and I was able to make friends with the other guests by our mutual disappointment on the poor condition of the hotel.

Really awful dated hotel. Dirty swimming pool and sunloungers that you cannot move to a comfy position. The room itself is just about ok, beds in 4 walls with a small tv from the 1980s. The bathtub in the bathroom was very grubby and I could not even put our 3 year old in there to wash her. We were booked in for 5 nights but checked out after 1 night and went elsewhere. Really disappointed.

In the morning of her departure and after a very windy night, the lady found in the children’s pool leaves fallen from the trees which surround the children’s pool. If she had stayed a little more in the Hotel, she would have noticed that both pools are every day thoroughly cleaned. Moreover if she had stayed, she would have noticed the excellent quality of the water, resulting from the intensive maintainance of the pool. Many Guests of the Hotel have repeatedly expressed their very positive opinion for the Hotel’s pools.

Staff were extremely helpful and kind. They went out of their way to make my stay a good one. Accommodation was very old & not in the best shape. With the airport being so close the airplanes that fly overhead are very loud, coming about every half hour. Overall decent stay.

Hotel un po' datato ma con personale che ti mette a proprio agio e pulizie impeccabili... confort (TV scordatevela...o non funziona o prende 6 canali!) Piscina bella e ben tenuta ..insomma, vicino all'aereoporto e 2 belle spiagge, buon cibo...a questo prezzo, si può fare!

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the free breakfast had a lot of choices but the beds and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. The shower curtain was also very gross.

Staff are fabulous! Pool is great, location stunning between two safe family beaches. Both walkable with cafe facilities. Bus stop at the end of the hotel drive so car hire is not essential. The hotel has a stunning veranda for evening drinks, looking out over the pool and ocean beyond. Ammes is safe to walk around with a few tavernas and a couple of shops for essentials. Don,t expect the ritz this is a greek hotel that has seen better days but the staff are fantastic, food is greek which is lovely. As with a buffet you can pick and choose what you like. We loved our stay, again.

Da usare come base per escursioni.
Hotel vecchio e maltenuto. Pulizia camera appena passabile anche se il cambio asciugamani è fatto regolarmente. Cura complessiva delle aree comuni (ristorante, bar, ecc.) scadente. Serramenti e servizi vetusti e maltenuti. Personale gentile, ma pigro (certo la temperatura del luogo non aiuta). L'albergo è fornito di bella piscina e posto a 10 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia. Colazione all'europea con buona scelta. Ristoranti nei dintorni validi. Da notare che è vicino all'aeroporto e sotto le rotte degli aerei in atterraggio e decollo (fortunatamente c'è poco traffico). Ottima la posizione baricentrica nell'isola; noi lo abbiamo usato come base per dormire e girovagato una settiman con una piccola Susuki a noleggio che è andata a meraviglia.

Altes Ambiente, aber super Aufenthalt
Das Hotel ist schön, aber die Einrichtung sehr alt. Die Umgebung ist super, allerdings eher für Leute geeignet, die nicht im Trubel der Stadt sein wollen, da es eher abgelegen und ruhig ist. Am besten fanden wir den Pool und die Aussicht von unserem Balkon direkt auf das Meer.

Das Hotel ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen aber sehr Sauber. Das Frühstück war sehr einfach. Das Personal war sehr Freundlich. Preis Leitungsverhältnis war auch Ok. Im grossen und ganzen hatten wir einen schönen Familienurlaub dort gehabt. Ich kann es weiterempfehlen.
