Rustig paradijsje op het drukke Santorini
Fantastische lokatie op Santorini, buiten de drukte van de toeristische plaatsen. Tien zeer verzorgde appartementen, rustig gelegen en een fraai zwembad en uitzicht op de Caldera. Toegangsweg is lastig te rijden en op één punt heel smal tussen twee huizen door. Rekening bij houden met huren van een auto. Ontbijt is heel ruim en kan een dag tevoren al besteld worden. Ook mogelijkheid voor diner, maar diverse leuke restaurants in de buurt. Thanos en Meni, en de hele ploeg van Kalestesia zijn de behulpzaamheid en vriendelijkheid zelve. Absoluut een aanrader om het drukke Santorini te bezoeken zonder de grote drukte die het eiland in de zomermaanden teistert. Voor een dagje rust is het zwembad en de bijbehorende bar voor drankjes en lunch een aanrader. Heel goede kok.

Schitterend hotel voor rustzoekers
Intiem hotel met indrukwekkend panoramisch uitzicht over de caldera. Persoonlijke service van het hotelpersoneel. Uitstekend ontbijt. Zeer nette en ruime suites (huisjes) met eigen terras. Bijzondere rustige locatie op het hoogste punt van de zuidkant van het eiland (auto noodzakelijk). Ideaal hotel voor wie de drukte van Fira en Oja tijdens de drukke zomermaanden wil ontvluchten!

The location is really wonderdull. All the suites have a view! The hotel is beautiful. The location is perfect if you like nature and no crowded places. It is like a really private luxury hotel. The staff is really nice and I want to thanks again Lefteris. And the breakfast is unique. It is really the place to be in Santorini!!!

top! fantastisch
prachtige suites; mooi ingericht met alle comfort. aangenaam zwembad, erg rustgevend; kleinschalig en plaats voor elke hotelgast. zeer behulpzaam personeel, ontbijt erg lekker, w naar wens geserveerd op terras van je kamer of in ontbijtpatio (die wel een mooi uitzicht biedt maar niet heel gezellig is). rustgevende setting , geen andere kinderen tijdens ons verblijf met 4 kinderen, waardoor je wel wat bezwaard voelde als ze te hevig aan het spelen waren in het zwembad! prachtige locatie; toffe uitvalsbasis en lekker ver weg van de vreselijke toeristische plekjes als kamari beach!

Een perfecte plek om romantisch te genieten van Santorini. Je wordt volledig in de watten gelegd door het personeel. Niets is te gek. "Nee" is daar een onbekend woord. Geen plaats om een hele week te verblijven maar een paar dagen en een auto zijn een openbaring. TOP!

Una verdadera vergüenza ponerse en manos de Alex para el alquiler de un coche. Una pena que todo se fastidie por confiar en su recomendación para elegir la empresa de alquileres, nos estafaron cuando ya habíamos aterrizado en Madrid me desvalijaron la visa sin justificación alguna. Tras muchas reclamaciones y denuncias he perdido el dinero. Lo tienen muy bien organizado. Vergüenza.

The orientation when checking in was overkill. The manager is very nice but it just wasn't necessary to spend a half hour with him. This is a remote property and we were not told until we arrived that there is no longer a restaurant on property. However, this was a little inaccurate as there is a pool bar to order food from. So, there isn't a formal restaurant but we could get food each day. Also, there were 3 couples that checked in the day we did. We had made our reservation first and yet we were put in a temporary room and had to move the next morning. It would have been so nice to have been settled in our room from the first night. Lastly, it did seem like the staff felt a little put out when we modified the time we wanted breakfast and what we wanted for breakfast. That could just be Greek culture. I would still recommend the hotel.

I went to this resort alone with my two kids. The staff was really professional and yet friendly. The two-room apartment was super clean. The views from the resort are incredible. We spent a lot of time at relaxing at the pool. You must know the hotel location is remote. You need to rent a small car to access the hotel and the roads are really narrow and kind of difficult to navigate. That said, it’s all worth it!

Great hotel with exceptional service
Our family of four (2 adults, 2 young kids) had a great time at Kalestesia Suites. The suites are large compared to normal hotel rooms. Our room had a hot tub on the second floor balcony with an incredible view of the caldera. The kids spent many happy hours swimming in the pool. The hotel's host, Michael, helped us with everything we needed from restaurant advice to boat tours. When we chose to follow online reviews instead, we usually regretted it.

30th Anniversary holiday.
We booked our holiday for our 30th Anniversary after checking the information on your website. We were looking to using the suite amenities which included the restaurant/bar/lounge/pool bar/plunge pool/bathrobe and slippers! We arrived and we were looking forward to a meal and a drink in the evening after our long journey. None of the above amenities were open, after my husband made a comment they provided us with one drink in our suite. The nearest food shop is about an hours walk but no hob to be able to cook yourself anything hot in your suite. Be aware that you do need a car to get about and walking back to the suites is all up hill. With this in mind after going out during the day or for a meal we would off liked to relax having a drink at their bar during the evening but it was never open. The pool bar during the day didn't have any staff after they cleaned the area and put the towels out. There was no plunge pool in our suite/bathrobes or slippers. The staff did explain the area with a map and arranged the hire car for us.

We absolutely loved our stay at Kalestesia Suites and have no complaints. Our room was so lovely and breakfast was delicious every day! The staff was so kind and accommodating! The only thing I would say is to be sure you have a small car as the road to get to the hotel has an area between two buildings that is quite tight even for a small vehicle. That being said, we absolutely loved the location on the southern end of the island. We will definitely be going back!

I highly recommend this hotel, is beautiful and great location the view is just amazing and I was really surprise of the room was beautiful it was our last day in Santorini and we just stay at the hotel enjoying the room. Fantastic views, staff was very friendly but a bit slow with service. Most likely because they’re understaffed. Roads in that particular area are a mess. Most taxis and/or transfers will not drive you in front of the hotel reception. Best bet is to call reception upon arrival so that someone can pick you up and bring you to reception.

The hospitality on the property was absolutely amazing. They were willing to help us with anything we needed! They don’t stay open 24 hours but they are available bright and early in the morning the next day to assist you! The hotel rooms were so clean and beautiful!

Being isolated, away from the crowds, we offer peace and tranquility to our guests with the services of a 5* hotel. I am sorry to read that you had a complaint cause there was no super market nearby, even there is a mini market 300m from our hotel, since we operate a restaurant with a great chef, we have a snack menu available during all day, a full list of drinks and cocktails that you can order at the pool bar or in your room and an excellent wine collection. Our team of managers could easily assist you with any request and even arrange a transfer for you to go for shopping.

Personal increíble. Instalaciones perfectas. Servicios inmejorables : bar, restaurante, gimnasio, spa, sala de juegos, parking,... Todo el personal está siempre atento y nos ha ayudado en todo lo que hemos necesitado. La ubicación es perfecta ya que se localiza cerca de bastantes atracciones turísticas y no queda lejos de los otros puntos interesantes de la isla. Si buscáis tranquilidad y comodidad, este es vuestro hotel. Muy recomendable. Es perfecto!

Kalestesia, Santorini was by far the highlight of our stay in the Greek Islands. We had an absoulutely beautiful view. Fresh and delicious breakfast every morning. Lovely view from the terrace. WE all loved Harry an associate of the hotel. He was so knowledgable, kind and helpful throughout our whole stay. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and kind. The wifi was great, and the rooms very clean, cozy and comfortable. Beautiful pool. Gorgeous at night! Tennis shoes for walking into town a necessity! Would highly recommend

We had a wonderful staying at this hotel. The staff was the best and view was wonderful. The location is a bit off the main attractions but we had a rental and did not mind driving to and from the place.

excellent hotel with amazing staff
Me and my girlfriend booked this place for the week and wasn't disappointed at all , the room we got was lovely living area with a bedroom on a small mezzanine floor with amazing views , very clean and tidy , host charis is very welcoming just wants you to relax and enjoy from the moment you arrive. Pool area is kept very clean and the views are amazing too , all the staff are very very helpful and the food is great . Breakefast is perfect to start the day not too heavy and enough choice too plus any requests you have are never too much for the staff Hotel is a little out the way but we knew that when booking anyway , we often got taxis each day to different destinations around island and for nights out , had a personal phone number to taxi driver which made things very easy and less stressful , all in all was a fantastic place that offeres everything you need for your Santorini get away Thanks to charis and his team for a fantastic week and looking after us top service and lovely hotel

Hotel away from the noise!
Choose this hotel if you want a get away from the busy cities of Oia and Fira. These cities are a short distance by cab or drive so easy to access. Our hotel is a short walk from a little village with a few great restaurants and about a 30 minute walk from the famous red beach. In the morning when I awoke, I could hear on the birds chirping and breeze blowing. Hotel grounds are great and the view from my room was a perfect 10.

Santorini dream
Very enjoyable stay, the staff were very accommodating and couldn't do enough for you. The resort is very clean and relaxing with spectacular views over the bay and volcano!

3 giorni indimenticabili ... Che avrei voluto non fossero finiti Arrivo in porto e troviamo un taxi che lo staff ha perfettamente organizzato per il trasfer .. Costo 25,00 euro .. Vista mozzafiato .. Suite super accoglienti e in pieno stile greco Colazione in veranda vita mare , serviti con eleganza qualità e coccolati per iniziare alla grande una giornata di vacanza ... Piscina comodissima con tutti i confort Consiglio vivamente ..

Super Hotel mit super Aussicht
Unsere Erwartungen wurden um ein Weites übertroffen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und steht mit Rat und Tat zur Seite und hilft auch gerne bei der Organisation von Ausflügen oder Transfers. Wir wurden gleich herzlich empfangen und persönlich herumgeführt.Die Aussicht ist genial, man überblickt die gesamte Caldera. Es ist ruhig gelegen und die Suiten sind in einzelnen Häusern mit jeweils 2-3 Wohnungen. Wir hatten eine Maisonette Suite mit Meerblick und kleinem Balkon. Es war allgemein eine sehr entspannte und ruhige Atmosphäre, bei der man sich sehr gut entspannen konnte. Wer jedoch schlecht zu Fuß ist oder eine sehr schlechte Kondition hat, dem empfiehlt sich ein Mietwagen oder - aufgrund einer sehr schwer passierbaren Engstelle - ein Quad oder Roller, da sich die Bushaltestelle und Restaurants im Ort ca. 15 Gehminuten entfernt befinden. Auf dem Rückweg geht es dann somit stets steil bergauf, da sich das Hotel auf der höchsten Stelle in Akrotiri befindet. Der Fußweg durch die engen Gassen ist jedoch schön und man sieht was vom Dorf.

Wonderful service, amazing pool, perfect to relax
Amazing service, really enjoyed our stay. Location is a bit remote, but this make it extremely quiet and it is not an issue if you have a car to move around. Swimming pool and hotel facilities are amazing. 5 star to Hotel staff for make it such a great stay.

Amazing place - stay here!
Everything about Kalestesia Suites is exceptional. We travelled as a small family of two adults and one 7yr old, and on first arrival, we were struck by the location of the hotel at the top of Akrotiri, with views both across the caldera and over the south of the island (we arrived at night time, and the views in the morning in daylight were even more stunning). However, the one thing I really want to stress is how good the service and attention from the hotel staff was. We arrived at around 11pm due to a delay to our flight, and were welcomed with a carafe of local Greek wine, sandwiches and fruit. Right throughout the holiday, Samson and his staff were available to help with any questions, but also gave us plenty of space to relax and enjoy our time at the hotel. Our return flight was also later on in the evening, but we were free to use the pool and gym changing facilities after we had checked out - the charges for our final lunch and drinks were also waived which was totally unexpected. It was these kinds of small touches that mean we would recommend Kalestesia to anybody. There are many other positives that you would want to experience for yourself: The hotel was kept spotlessly clean at all times; breakfasts were great with changes to the items being served each day; the rooms were serviced every day; the buildings were all obviously well maintained and cared for.

Beyond expectation!!
Amazingly personal experience in a lovely secluded part of the island. On first named terms with the owner Samson. - the best sunset views from our balcony. Cannot flaw anything about the stay. I hate to raise the profile of a place we loved so much, but we will definitely be back.

Best place to stay in Santorini!!
We had the best time staying at Kalestesia Suites. It's in a quiet part of the island and away from the crowds and feels like a real getaway. Sampson and his team anticipated everything we needed and really made our stay feel effortless. The chef at the restaurant was fabulous and we had some of the best food at the hotel during our stay in Santorini. A car is a definite must as the hotel is not within walking distance to the village or any other amenities.

Heavenly spot away from tourism centrt
I never write reviews. Am motivated to write because of the charm, warmth of this resort. Breakfasts delivered to balcony are heavenly. Staff will go to any lengths to make vacation outstanding. Very laid back. Arranged for us to get car then atvs then sea kayaking. Long way from Fira but only 20 minutes via car Great get away.
