Well, we wouldn't like to return to this case, but it seems that we have to. Let's see the case fact by fact from the very beginning. There had been a decoration request and since our guests had already arrived the decoration took place with them on the private veranda of the room, next to their private pool. In order to hurry things up the decoration was been made by 4 members of our staf instead for 2. We mention again that during this procedure our guests were in the very veranda of the room and no member of the staff was alone. After 10 minutes we have been informed that a certain amount of money was missing from their luggage. We have immediately asked them the permission to call the police so the police would come before any member of our staff would go for the day and the whole thing would clarify as soon as possible. No answer to this. On the contrary the amount of missing money kept changing (?) On the following day we have seen a negative review in Expedia with accusation for theft for our staff. Obviously this coudn't be tollerated, especially after their previous behaviour and we have said that they should proove of their accusation. The answer of the lady was that we should proove of our innocense. We have explained that it does not work this way and this review was defamation and should be off. Indeed, about half an hour after our conversation the gentleman has informed us that review was no more. Wanting to ease the tention we have sent to the room a bottle of wine and a discount card for the restaurant. On the following day we have been informed of their wish to depart - something we understand. Now about the payment, we have explained that rooms don't get paid to us by the guests, but from Expedia (guests pay Expedia and we get our share from Expedia with a virtual card) So any return of money was impossible for practical and moral reasons - we as hotel and staff had fully honored the reservation contract. So the have left without any more discussions or even complainants, to go on with their vacation. These are the accurate facts. We see no reason to apologize. We only regret that we didn't call the police on our own behalf so the guests would explain themselves as well. Here we need to clarify: It happens to hotels that somebody comes to reception saying" "I have missed my wallet or my mobile phone or my earings" We always offer the police solution, but 99,99% the fair answer is "Oh, I have found it, it had been misplaced in our luggage" Our job is far but easy. Following the procedures is our professional shield as hotel and as staff members. This is a case that we have fully followed the procedures so any accusation is nothing but defamation. We keep our right for any legal actions.

Dear Guest,Your reservation had a free cancellation optionuntil 14 days before the arrival date. After that day your reservation would be fully charged as agreed. You have demanded free cancellation after that limit, somenthing that we couldn't accept, but we have offered you the right to amend for 2024 season, since 1st of November our hotel would close for 2023. Most important, we cannot accept any review from anybody who has not visited our hotel. For these reasons we consider this review to be unjustified, provocative and unacceptable.

There is something that we want you to inform us of because this is very important: Where had you seen that the cost of the transfer from the ferry is 15 ? This is misleading information indeed and we must take care of it immediately.
