Beautiful clean property and friendly service-Pavlo was great at welcoming and orienting us. Diamond Villa was beautiful- great view. Very sweet welcome basket and we appreciated the sweet parting gift. Ammoudi bay- and Oia although a little far was walkable -15 minutes. You really need a car for the area.

We really enjoyed staying at this property and were able to enjoy the sunsets from our private pool and hot tub every night and was much more enjoyable than going to town, which was overcrowded close to sunset. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helped with all of our requests and needs and helped to book a private yacht tour, which we greatly appreciated. They even have food delivery service available when you don't want to get out of the hot tub. The property is located in walking distance to Oia shopping and restaurants, but we still chose to drive to town because its a very steep walk.

Great place to stay to watch sunsets! The villa was very clean & had plenty of room. Only issue was the one bedroom Was a loft without privacy and the girls knocked themselves out a few times hitting their heads on the wall/ceiling going up to the loft to go to bed. The ceiling curves around and isn’t practical when getting up there by a small ladder only to be hit by the wall when you get to the loft/landing. The other Actual bedroom had no air conditioning in the room itself but in the main quarters downstairs, so in order to get some ac in the room, you had to keep the door open, and did not have the privacy we wanted. Finally the only other issue is that it is not walkable to get to Oia from where the villas are. Not to say you can’t walk it, but it’s tough and not for beginners. Lots of steep uphill hiking and having to watch for some crazy drivers. We were drenched in sweat just to walk to breakfast our first morning there, so we took a taxi the rest of the time. The staff is helpful but there are no onsite restaurants, but you can order food from 2 restaurants nearby that deliver. All in all though it’s a wonderful place!

Sunset Villas is a quaint little spot that has much character. Villas were well appointed and the staff was over the top helpful. Anytime we needed a transport or dining reservation they were made immediately by Giorgio. The rooms and beds were very comfortable as were the pillows, and I’m a pillow snob. If I had one compliant It would be that the pools should be heated. We had some chilly weather and weren’t able to enjoy them at all as they were way too cold. Overall I give Sunset Villas an almost perfect 9.9 out of 10.

It was an amazing stay! The reception was super helpful in suggestions on what to do, where to go, how to get there, etc. The property itself was also spectacular. The shared swimming pools and grounds were beautiful and the villa was fantastic!!

Wonderful property. The only issue is that it is rather far from the center of the city and you will need a taxi or a car rental. You maybe able to get a similar property closer to the city.

We are world travelers. Never received a written answer from the Owner who lives in Athens. No partial refund after contacting him on Expedia and by email. Pathetic. Onsite staff is nice but stay elsewhere for 400 euros a night! We stayed 4 nights in July 2021. 1) The AC unit in the main entrance of our villa turned off overnight. It is hot in Oia! The temperature on the ground floor and in the upper loft reached 81 F overnight and much higher during the day. Our teens had trouble sleeping, and one of them ended up sleeping next to the kitchen table on the basement level. :0( The placement of the AC unit in the downstairs kitchen is a problem. There is no circulation or cooling in the master bedroom downstairs unless one keeps the master bedroom door open to allow the cooled air from the kitchen to reach the master bedroom. There is little PRIVACY for adults if you have your child sleeping in the kitchen! Please replace the ground floor AC unit and re-position the downstairs AC unit into the Master Bedroom, not in the kitchen. 2) The safe in the master bedroom would not work with the electronic panel so we had to ask for the master key. Annoying! 3) Inadequate lighting and rough pathway on the last portion of the walkway from Oia. Please add lighting on the pathway to prevent injury! The pathway is uneven and has many stones. If you have vision or knee problems or have young children, do not stay here! They never offered cart service either. You can do better!

Dear Guest, We are very skeptic when we have to answer to a guest who asks for a refund, mentioning to have our quick answer before to write reviews in internet! With a reputation rate of 95% in internet, we pay the maximum of attention to our guest’s reviews and comments as we always try to improve our services and villas. Regarding your comments: 1. After 8 years in operation, we never had any complain about cooling, but we’ll add an extra AC unit in this villa since you have made these comments! 2. Safe boxes with electronic panels have a master key to be used, in case of an electronic problem. You were provided with this key so you could use the safe box until we find the electronic problem, which finally was a strong reset. 3. The pathway does not belong to us but is public area where municipality authorities can only work. We’ll transfer your comments and ask for more lighting and better walking surface. We are very sorry that you were not completely satisfied staying with us, and we’ll do our best in case of a future new stay.

The pools and private jacuzzi are great with ocean view. The view is wonderful, it's not the view from the famous oia cliff view though. It is close to oia main village, you can go there by walk around 10 mins.

This place is so beautiful! We couldn't believe the amenities we had, and how big the villa was. It is so spacious, although it was expensive to book, we believe it was so worth it! It is walking distance to Oia town. My only concern is the narrow roads sand stairs we had to climb and how difficult it is during night to get back. My suggestion is to remember the road, and landmarks and do not trust google maps when heading back. Google maps made us go in unsafe roads to get back, so my suggestion is remember the way in which you go! Other than that, it was perfect! Great distance to main areas, but located in a nice isolated region!

One word SCAM!!! The villa is hard to find for any tourist as it’s far up in dangerous windy roads to reach. The “villa” was an outdated, uncomfortable house where the bedrooms are in a dark cramped basement. The view is construction going on! The “welcome basket” is fake fruit in a bowl...total scam! Don’t waste your time looking at this site...$750 a night for nothing.. had to ask for an extra towel as we were given one pp, there is no shampoo or bars of soap’s or anything, the beds were uncomfortable, sheets not good quality... we have nothing good to say about this place, complete rip off. Left and found competitors with everything an international travel is looking for- comfort and honest complete transparency. Avoid this place!!!

Dear reviewer. Our villas resort is "OIA SUNSET VILLAS" and has nothing to do with your descriptions. Probably you made a mistake writting to us. We are located on main street to Amoudi bay and acessible even by car, for sure not on far up dangerous streets!!! Also the rest of your descriptions does not much our facilities. We provide twice per day maid service, 3 towels per guest that we change every 3 days or every day if asked. We provide in all bathrooms shampoo, shower gel and hand soap. Our welcome basket contains water, orange juice, wine and Greek snacks. For sure you have made a mistake and please correct it. Thank you

Oia Sunset Villas Best Viewing Unimpeded Site
We enjoyed our stay at both the Swinging Sunset and Diamond Villa during our stay. With a family of four each room had its own customization, friendly service and no issues were experienced during our stay a short walk to the black volcanic sand beach or the main areas of Oia. We were surrounded by blooming yellow flowers and will go back to the exact location for our next Santorini trip.

Flights were cancelled for 2 straight days of a 3 night stay. Hotel insisted me and my pregnant wife should take a 5+ hour ferry in choppy seas even though airline said this was not an option by time we were able to talk to an agent and were doubtful ferries would be running given adverse weather conditions. Hotel had no flexibility with reservations and charged full stay even though they knew night 1 befpre scheduled arrival we would not be making the trip

Dear guest. We are very sorry for all the troubles you had during your trip. The certain airline company you were using cancelled their flight but you had the chance to arrive in Santorini using another airline company or the ferries which were working normally. We wonder how did you know 1 day before that your flight will be cancelled, since the cancellation was announced because of the strong winds at that certain time of your departure. Next day you could arrive using same airline company or any other or a speed ferry so you could be in Santorini the next morning of your expected evening arrival. Of course, you can make changes to your own travel program but you have also to consider the cancellation policies of your reservations. Is clear that your 3.5 days of vacation in Santorini could be done for 3 days. Excellent
It exceeded my expectations, both the villa, the pools and the resort. The sunsets from the resort looked spectacular, everything in the villa is excellent and very clean. My wife and family was also surprised and very happy to stay in this villa. The manager in charge was excellent host making our staging more enjoyable. When we return to santorini I would not hesitate to request this villa resort again.

Lovely stay at Sunset Villas Oia
The accommodations are beautiful the pool is amazing it was too cold to swim though breakfast is a little pricey and then walk in to Oia is easy. It’s a little loud the way it’s set up you can hear all your neighbors but I would totally stay there again the staff is amazing and the whole pool area is gorgeous.

The location was not available so the owner relocated us to a bigger property but it was far away.
We were relocated to another property that was too far from the core. We paid a lot for the original property to be close to everything but ended up far from everything. The relocated property had a pool but the area was too windy and water too cold for us to utilize the pool.

Perfect setting for a relaxing break
From start to end, we had an awesome experience staying at Oia Sunset Villas. All the staff members were polite and helpful and went out of the way to ensure we had an amazing stay. The staff helped us arrange for all the activities around the island and the car hires and airport transfers. The location of the villas is perfect for a relaxing break away from crowd. There is a small walkway from the villas to the town center which takes around 10-15 minutes to get you in the middle of everything in Oia. A highly recommended place to stay if you want the best of both worlds, relaxing and sight seeing. Oia as a town is small and known best for the sunset. Best way to get around the Santorini island is renting a car. There are numerous free parking lots in Fira and other small towns. The parking lots are a few minutes out of the town but its a good stroll. Overall an enjoyable experience and we would surely go back to Oia Sunset Villas if we visit Santorini again..!!
