Top notch service from the moment you walk in. Everybody, and I mean everybody there provides the best service/friendliness/helpfulness. Whoever does the hiring there does a great job finding such incredible employees. The resort itself is amazing. Clean, beautiful, beautiful views, great pools, good food. I can’t say enough about this place. I guess the one negative (or positive for some people) is that it’s quite a drive to get anywhere. But I guess that’s just Crete being a big island with everything spread out.

This must be my best stay at a hotel ever (i’m 37 years old and travel alot). BEAUTIFUL hotel & our room was gorgeous! Nice, polite and service minded staff that always helped me and my gf if needed. Great location with a private beach, great pool area with a nice bar. Spa, gym and 3 restaurants! This was our last stop on our Greece vacation and we were looking forward to relaxing, but that was not what happened at this hotel. This hotel has a lot of work to do to make it a 5 star. We had three different rooms during our stay (and we aren’t picky people at all) our first two rooms had a very bad sewage smell so we asked to be moved. They ended up upgrading us (which we appreciated) to a room that smelt fine. It was at the top of the resort. Rude staff - The staff at the front desk as well as some staff at the main restaurant staff were rude. They made you feel bad for asking for anything. There were two members of the staff looking at TikTok’s as we entered the restaurant one night and didn’t acknowledge us to seat us. There was also some weird tension from the servers in the main restaurant one night, didn’t make for a good environment. Repairs - The hotel is new and looked great in pictures but it felt like it had been open for 10 years. There are things that need significant repairing already - some of the pools leak, our door lock was broken in one of our rooms, tiles are chipped and cracked, the lift broke down one night. Cleanliness - there were ants on food trays that were left outside of rooms for 12 hours. There were also cockroaches around the hotel area. Overall feels like they can do better on the cleanliness.

The hotel, the room, the pools and everything was perfect except that the hotel has a wonderful view on a highway... This is unfortunate to have such a beautiful hotel being located next to a highway which is spoiling the sea view from the rooms/hotel. It is also a bit challenging to walk outside the hotel as you are immediately on the highway... The staff, the service and the food at all restaurants are excellent. Only minor comment on the room service which is extremely slow and not always accurate. It is a bit annoying to have missing items in your order when you already waited one hour to have it delivered to your room

Good quality rooms + pools - poor food + location
A good quality hotel with some disappointing elements to our stay. The rooms are very comfortable and cleaned very well. We had a shared swim up room and it was very spacious even with 3 people in one room. The pools are very good and sun loungers really comfortable. Service by the pool was in general very good, however the drink quality was more "all inclusive" than al a carte (even though you are paying for it). Don't be fooled by instagram, the drinks don't look like that around the pool. They are very quickly made and of average quality. The breakfast buffet is by far the worst I have ever experienced. For the cost of a room you would expect some level of freshly cooked food, but its all buffet. They have a lady making omelettes, but its poured out of a 3 litre pre-mixed jug and tasted horrible. Buffet eggs were under cooked and pre-cooked boiled eggs were raw. There was plenty of pastry / pancakes etc so young children would probably be happy. In a nut shell they are serving a cheap buffet breakfast that you would expect in a lower class of hotel. You can have breakfast in your room / pool on a floating platter - but its just the buffet brought to you so don't waste your money. Location is poor you can't walk anywhere - the sister hotel on the beach in front is separated by a motorway, there is a free shuttle. You have to get a taxi to visit any restaurants outside the hotel or the sister hotel - 18 euro to small town / 50 euro to the large town

We had an amazing stay here. The property itself was spectacular being new.. the staff were flawless .. extremely hospitable and willing to please.. we had spa treatments which were ok… but the rest of the resort and the staff negated that.. the annexed resort by the beach means you can have the best of both world .. water sports offered at the sister resort .. would thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting a luxury break. Food wise the half board main restaurant option was decent .. ate at the other restaurants but were not to my taste but despite all that I would still thoroughly recommend !

Alles in allem eine ganz ganz tolle Hotel Anlage - wirklich wunderschön! Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit privat Pool, der sehr schön war, allerdings auch relativ einsehbar daher dann nicht mehr so „privat“. Der Sonnenuntergang vom Buffet Restaurant war wirklich traumhaft. Allerdings mangelt es noch sehr am Service. Die Mitarbeiter sind teilweise arrogant, teilweise aber auch sehr nett. Teils sehr unorganisiert. Tage vor unserer Anreise wussten wir, dass es an Tag x regnen wird. Die einzigen, die davon überrascht waren, war das Hotel Personal beim Frühstück. Selbstverständlich will sich niemand in den Regen setzen, drinnen waren aber nicht genug Sitzplätze. Also mussten alle draußen stehen und warten, bis das andere Restaurant eingedeckt war. An der Poolbar wird nur sporadisch bedient, diese macht auch um 18 Uhr zu, was uns nicht bewusst war. Wir haben um ca 17:15 essen bestellt und Getränke. Diese waren natürlich leer, bis um ca 5 vor 6 das Essen kam. Niemand fragte, ob wir noch etwas trinken möchten, geschweige denn mit dem Hintergrund, dass wir in wenigen Minuten nichts nachbestellen könnten. Zudem war das Sandwich eiskalt. Möchte man an den Pools oben was trinken, muss man runter laufen und mit einem Tablett selber seine Getränke tragen. Ebenso kostet der indoor Pool bzw. Der überdachte Pool Teil 20€/Person/Stunde. Das ist wirklich ziemlich frech. Vor den Zimmern steht ewig das Obst des Vortages rum, was die Hotel Gäste vor die Türe stellen wenn sie es nicht mehr wollen.

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Urlaub im Royal Sense. Da das Hotel recht außerhalb gelegen ist, waren wir die meiste Zeit nur am Pool. Die Anlage, das Essen, das Personal - alles ist auf sehr hohem Niveau und war für uns perfekt. Daher hatten wir fast keine Lust durch die Gegend zu fahren (auch weil ich im 7. Monat schwanger bin) und die beliebten und überfüllten Strände im Juli zu besuchen. Zu empfehlen ist definitiv Rethymnon (ca. 15-20 min fahrt, Taxi 25€), hier gibts tolle Restaurants und auch schöne Bars. Im Nachbardorf Panormos (5 min mit Taxi) gibt es sehr gute Tavernen (Kastro zb) die hochwertige Küche aus lokal angebauten Lebensmitteln anbieten. Wirklich ein Traum. Wir hatten nur Frühstück, was vollkommen ausgereicht hat, da wir mittags am Pool nur eine Kleinigkeit bestellt haben und abends dann in den Tavernen in der Umgebung essen waren. Es gibt die Möglichkeit für 40€ pro Person (ohne Getränke natürlich) im Hauptrestaurant zu essen (Buffet) aber das hat leider nicht bei weitem die erstklassige Qualität wie das Frühstücksbuffet. Wir hatten eine 120 € Rechnung und waren doch recht enttäuscht. Ansonsten gibt es noch mehrere a la Carte Restaurants, die sehr gutes Essen haben aber natürlich bei weitem nicht so günstig sind, wie die umliegenden Tavernen. Wir wollten unser Geld dann lieber bei den Einheimischen lassen und die Gastfreundlichkeit genießen :) Publikum ist ebenfalls sehr angenehm, viele junge Leute und sehr gepflegt. Wir kommen wieder!

L’hôtel digne d’un 5 étoile ! Petit déjeuner excellent et tous était frais !! Hôtel très propre, personnel agréable et accueillant. Nous avions la chambre avec piscine privé, c’est dommage car nous n’avions presque jamais de soleil dans le balcon alors nous ne pouvions pas profiter de la piscine, la plage et assez loin donc nous ne sommes jamais aller c’est dommage . Sinon on pouvais y accéder sois à pied ou alors un voiturier de l’hôtel nous y emmenais mais bon avec un bébé c’est pas très pratique . Autour de l’hôtel il n’y a vraiment rien à faire pas de magasin pas de restaurant ! Il y a un petit village qui est pas très loin avec des petit restaurants locaux la nourriture y était très bonne . Si vous rechercher un hôtel calme c’est celui qu’il vous faut ! Nous remercions le personnel de l’hôtel qui nous a très bien accueilli.

Hotel tout neuf donc avec avantages et inconvénients: Très bel hôtel spacieux et design Bon breakfast et repas du soir en formule buffet de bonne qualité mais peu de poisson??? Personnel très gentil Hotel idéal pour se reposer mais... Voiture ou taxi impératif car autour ras Manque de personnel en salle donc on attends des fois un peu pour les boissons et pour être débarrassé Plage commune avec un autre hôtel mais il faut y aller en navette et pas de vu sur la mer à cause de gros rochers mis en place:c'est pas fun Pour le moment, cet hôtel n'est pas au niveau d'un 5 étoiles

Un scandale ! De l’arrivé au départ, nous avons subi un service catastrophique. La tv de notre chambre n’a pas fonctionne durant notre séjour, la clim très capricieuse. Le service est extrêmement long. L’hôtel est en plus de ça situé loin de tout donc en plus compliqué de vouloir s’évader. Pour se faire pardonner ils m’ont proposé une remise sur mon séjour de 30€ ….
