A lovely place but not quite as lovely as the pictures
The villa was in the end perfect for our family holiday, however we were disappointed to arrive to a villa which hadn’t been cleaned or stocked with essentials such as big bags, tea towels or beach towels properly. We had to contact the owner to clean the pool, outside seating and kitchen as these had not been done. We also had to mention broken chairs, broken life jackets and broken steps inside, along with sheets with holes as well. He did come and resolve these issues immediately. The villa is a great location and the pool was fabulous too. The connection with the filion hotel was a bonus as we could use their facilities as well. This villa is in need of a refresh to make it like the pictures and the reviews. Bali, Crete is a beautiful village too.

Schöne Tage auf Kreta
Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben. Jeden zweiten Tag wurde das Haus gereinigt. Im Hotel (1500 m) vom Haus entfernt konnten wir an zwei Abenden das Büffet in Anspruch nehmen - 12 € pro Person war ein fairer Preis! Leider war das Wetter im Norden nicht ganz so gut, so dass wir dreimal mit dem Mietwagen in den Süden gefahren sind - dort herrliches Strandwetter!!! Allen - wir waren 8 Personen - hat es sehr gut gefallen!!!!

Schönes Haus, toller Blick!
Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche im Spätsommer in dem Haus in Bali mit zwei Familien und Kindern zwischen 9 und 12. Der Service des Hotels war gut und freundlich und wir haben die Einrichtungen des Hotels gerne in Anspruch genommen (Sport). Der Ort Bali hat unser Ansprüche an Strand und Restaurants voll erfüllt und man kann von dort gut Ausflüge in alle Richtungen unternehmen.

Toller Urlaub
Es war ein toller Urlaub in einer sehr schönen Villa. Etwas abseits gelegen aber nicht weiter schlimm. Leider sind es keine 3 kompletten Badezimmer also etwas anders als man es sich vorstellt. Leider fehlte auch der Grillrost. Weiterhin waren die Gläser etwas wenig da wenn man bedenkt, dass 9 Personen hier übernachten können. Es wurde 2 x wöchentlich gereinigt und frische Handtücher verteilt. Der Service war perfekt und vor allem sehr freundlich. Wir können es sehr empfehlen.

Outstanding experience
We LOVED everything about our stay at Sugar Villa. The check-in was seamless, the house was impeccable, the location and proximity to the village of Bali and the beach were great. Our hosts were amazing: responsive, accommodating, hospitable. We also really enjoyed the amenities of the affiliated Filion Resort nearby.

Toller Urlaub und ein rundum-sorglos-Paket
Der Urlaub in der Villa Zucker war ein Traum. Wir waren 8 Personen Mitte 20 und die Lage, das Haus und alles drum herum sind wie in der Objektbeschreibung angegeben. Valia und ihr Team stehen einem immer zur Verfügung sofern man ein Anliegen hat, wirklich ein Spitzenservice. Empfehlung: man kann sich einen privaten Koch kommen lassen, super essen, total freundlich und auch hier alles perfekt - vielen Dank für den Tipp. 5/5 Sternen, alles war wunderbar. Vielen Dank an Valia und ihr gesamtes Team!

Wonderful break after months of lockdown
The villa, and whole holiday, was easily as good, or even better than we had hoped. It's located just a few minutes from the coast in a mountain setting with views out to the sea. The pool area is perfect for relaxing in the sun and we really had everything we needed. Ioanna couldn't have been more helpful. We didn't want to come home!

Schöne Villa mit freundlichen Vermietern und aufmerksamer Verwalterin
Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Villa. Die Bilder in der Anzeige entsprechen der Realität. Der Vermieter und die Verwalterin waren sehr bemüht, dass es an nichts fehlt. Das Wetter war ebenfalls bis auf einen regnerischen Tag gut.

Pretty retreat
Set up in the hillside you need a car but worth the views We used the Fillion Suite for food/ drink and table tennis and this was a very pleasant bonus Walk into Bali is a fair stretch but taxi services available. Beaches in Bali really nice Villa was spacious and clean. The owner and Valia were really helpful and friendly definitely would recommend

Modernes Haus, Ruhig gelegen mit toller Aussicht
Sehr modernes neues Haus mit einem tollen Aussenbereich: Pool, Terrasse mit Blick aufs Meer und die Berge sowie schöner Grillplatz. Absolute Privatsphäre. Für eine Familie hervorragend geeignet zum Entspannen. Bali selbst hat nette Tavernen ist jedoch sehr touristisch und die kleinen Strände extrem überfüllt. Schöne Strände findet man ein paar Autominuten entfernt und die Nähe zu Heraklion und Rethymno lässt einen in das griechische Leben eintauchen.

Séjour génial chez Valia
Maison superbe, très bien aménagée, très confortable, au calme dans la nature. service irréprochable, si petit souci, aussitôt réparé, très réactifs. vue magnifique. Je conseille fortement cette location dans laquelle nous avons passé 10 jours de rêve.

Wonderful week!
What a great week in Villa Sugar! Four couples fit very nicely in the lovely house. The view was priceless from the mountainside. We awoke each morning to the sounds of goats' bells tinkling on the hillside. We enjoyed having the amenities of Filion Resort nearby. For our first visit to beautiful Crete, we found the perfect place to sample island life.
