'The property and House was clean and cool with AC! The staff was so much fun and thoughtful! We learned so much from Alfred and Dwight throughout our stay! We also did the big zip lines, repelling, and tight rope which was fun and beautiful! There is lots to do around the resort and it’s close to so many beautiful sights!'

'When I arrived there was nobody there to let me in. I tried the whatsapp number and got a recording saying it was not a valid number. I was able to send a message through Expedia messaging and got a reply fairly quick. A gentleman working on the roof finally let me in and gave me a key to the room. The beds were basically a brick with springs poking me when I laid down. The walls are very thin and the road noise went on all night. Parking is along the road and very tight and limited. The second...

'I would describe this as more of a glamping experience. The room is a large, open space with multiple beds and a kitchen, plus a separate bathroom. Unfortunately, there is no closet, shelving, or luggage rack, so you have to live out of your suitcase on the floor. The screened-in porch with hammocks was wonderful. However, the staff was not very helpful when we asked about walking trails or how to get to Monkey Falls. We were given vague directions and did not feel particularly welcome. The...

'We had a wonderful experience at the black rock lodge, the staff is amazing and you can feel how passionate they are about their work. The Tikal visit is a must. We had an amazing day on site with our guide Noel, we learnt so much about Mayan history and jungle fauna. We did also the hike to the summit and the night walk with the guide. Both great. Ask for a visit of the gardens, they are growing their own vegetables and fruits for the restaurant, the gardeners are lovely people. Finally the...

'Convenient to downtown, very nice staff.'

'Clean room.'

'Eenvoudige kamers, nette badkamer. Net gerenoveerd, nog bezig met puntjes op de i. Centrale ligging in verkeersvrije straat met restaurants en excursie-aanbieders. Vlakbij busstation. Goede uitvalsbasis voor excursies.'

'Heaven on earth. The food was phenomenal, the staff felt like family and the atmosphere was out of this world. A family vacation we will never forget.'

'We had an amazing stay at the Rainforest Retreat. Theodocios, our assistant at the Rainforest Retreat was an excellent guide and his wife, Francelia cooked delicious breakfast and dinner that was included with our stay. She also does laundry. We stayed one night there in the Eco-Pods and the 2nd night at the Chaa Creek Lodge. Docios shuttled us back and forth and provided excellent guidance.'

'Goede Prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Schone ruime kamers, mooi zwembad. Staan nu 4 bedjes, dit mogen er meer zijn. Prachtige grote tuin. Erg vriendelijk personeel. Erg lekker gegeten in het restaurant. Horeca personeel flexibel en klantvriendelijk. Niks is teveel. Een hele fijne vibe! Voelden ons echt welkom! '
