'This very sweet motel is smack dab in the middle of Carmel Valley close to restaurants and wine tasting rooms. It is extremely convenient, safe, and comfortable. The staff go above and beyond to try to make your stay as wonderful as possible. They are very generous with Keurig pods, water, and little things that are nice to have in a motel like wine opener and cheese knife. Don't hesitate to stay in this truly lovely motel.'

'Location is very beautiful and the cabin is very comfy. The 2-2.5 mile drive up is very manageable in dry conditions. However, it rained while we were there, and the mud was quite slippery going up or down. We had AWD, but it was still was difficult at times.'

'It's a pleasant cabin off a backroad in Carmel Valley. The place was clean and tidy. The cabin is a good size for a small family with 1 or 2 kids. 'This is really a great spot. Home is great and location is amazing. Cannot wait to come back in the summer. Only thing that wasn’t perfect: there isn’t a door between the master bed and bath. The owners were super accommodating and have everything you could possibly need while staying in their home. 'This is a very nice little spot that worked great for our trip. I would highly recommend using this location and exploring Carmel Valley as a potential alternative to staying in Monterey, as we found the location perfect for what we needed and it is close enough to Monterey if you still want to visit.
