At first, I was a little taken aback by the outdated motel sign, but I figured they might be rebranding, so I decided to give them a chance and I'm so glad I did. 'I always stay here when visiting my son in school. It has everything I need for a short term stay - microwave, coffee maker, fridge and an excellent (firm) bed. Plenty of free parking and a wonderful Chinese restaurant next door. The AC and heat system can be a bit noisy. And while there is nothing ‘fancy’ about the place and the walkway to the rooms could use some sprucing up, that is nothing compared to the convenience, friendliness and efficiency of the Manhasset Travelodge.
