'Our Family Reunion was a hit. We're extremely Happy with this Host and Lovely Home.It was peacefull and relaxed. We just had death in the family and didn't know if we would still come. But it worked out and this place is a charm. Will be coming back . Worth every penny.'

'The cabin was very comfortable and well-furnished. Plenty of hot water and a good shower. The air conditioner worked particularly well. The location was just what we were looking for—on the banks of a slough that connected to Big Cypress Bayou. We were able to put in right by the cabin, but we weren’t bothered by the boat traffic out on the bayou. '

'We had a wonderful stay at the Dock House! The fishing was fantastic, and Doug was a gracious host. He even came out to the dock to make sure our fishing was successful! The kids had a blast roaming outdoors and enjoying the playground. We enjoyed the firepit and scenic views! '

'Absolutely outstanding and a masterpiece of VRBO rentals. We enjoyed our stay in the house and all the nice accessories that were included. Hopefully, we will be able to rent again next year for our alumni gathering because we all agreed it was the perfect setup for our group.'

'The Gator Den was such a blast! Absolutely a beautiful property, so many perks and amenities. Easy to park, walking distance to Tuckers boat launch, and the owners are incredibly helpful. 5 21 year old women were able to have fun comfortably and celebrate our friend getting married. The only suggestion I could even add is a curtain to cover the sliding glass door bc it is very easy to see in at night. Other than that, it’s a perfect place to stay!'

'Unique option for an out of the norm experience. We went for my husband's birthday, we enjoyed being right on the water. Location was right in the middle of everything that Uncertain has to offer. We were able to enjoy a mud boat racing event on one of the days we were there. I did see a few complaints about the activity/noise on the dock where this is located. "If you’re out here to visit Bossier and/or Shreveport with a casino night to call it a day, this is your ideal place to be. I had a regular King room newly renovated. Besides the room being bigger than average and a bathtub that can fit 2 people , it’s a basic stay. Large room but with the basics like anywhere else wich makes the unused space feel kinda wasted. If you’re traveling solo, make sure to ask for a room that’s not adjoining. I did not feel safe knowing the person in the room next to me could just come in and vice versa. Wich also resulted in a sleepless first night since the snoring from the neighbor was crystal clear to hear and kept me awake. TV only worked on the channels with hotel information. For over $100 a night and extra fees you cannot escape and no breakfast included, I would suggest going to another hotel or even a decent motel. The first floor with the casino etcetera is very nice and luxurious. Any other floor is just average like every other hotel or decent motel. "
