I booked a handicap room. They first tried to give me a horrible room on the back side of property upstairs. Then, they tried to give me a room downstairs (still on the back side of hotel). I asked about the handicap room I reserved with my booking. I was told it was occupied but, I noticed it wasn’t occupied ( looking through window of the handicapped room.) I sat in my vehicle and booked a different hotel In Grenada. Once I told the attendant that I wanted my deposit back and that the rooms offered were horrible and not a handicap room I was taking to the same handicap room I had previously looked into the window and noticed it was empty. The handicap room was not much better but, the furniture was not as old, dingy or smelly. I had no choice but to either sleep in my vehicle or this room. I slept in my clothes on top of my own blanket sprayed 2 bottles of Lysol on everything. I wouldn’t wish this experience upon my enemies. They keep telling me, “ it’s ok you can smoke in room”. I don’t smoke. I will never, never, never book a OYO Hotel (first time). If you’re going to visit Grenada, MS. Stick with the Brand Names Hotels. Definitely don’t stay here.

There was no smoke detector in the room. The bathroom floor was dirty - there were loose hairs and debris on it. One of the bedside lamps did not work. The showerhead needed a good cleaning. On a positive note, check in and check out were both easy. The attendants were very polite and the process went smoothly. We were on the bottom floor and were able to park in front of our room which made it easy to unload and load our belongings. The beds were very comfortable and clean, and the window unit provided a nice source of white noise to sleep with. Overall, OYO could use some improvements but if you need a hotel for only one night and could bear some minor nuisances, it would be fine for you.

Tub drained real slow in my room 223. Was taking a shower and the tub started filling up with water, cut the shower off to let it drain down to ensure the drain lever was not closed and it was not. Freezer had a block of ice in it.

Like the convenience, most the refrigerators freezer section have blocks of ice in them, platforms they sit on need some work and the outside of the fridge has mold on the seal. Great place to stay if you’re looking to shower and rest. Overall I will continue to choose this hotel because the potential for improvement is there and have been made.

No frills. Safe and convenient. Low priced. Sadly, I feel that if the pool is out of order that it should not be marketed with a pool. The pool looked broke due to conditions that are not covid related. So yay. I felt a bit of a bait and switch via hotel and hotels.com.

The overall stay was good. I didn't like the nosey neighbors and the fact the advertisement says they have a pool when in fact they do not. The bed was very comfortable and my room was clean.
